A large chasm within the Valley of Screams; the Stonehenge Circle is where all Blanks first take form. Within its center is a large totem pole; the source of knowledge and skills for Blanks. It is here that the Blanks hone their abilities for combat.

Quote:
Name: Swarm - 600 Words Type: Personal Element: Dark Range: N/A Class: Blanks Description: A Blank Class can call forth a swarm of it's kin once it has located a source of rich memories. The hail-storm response of white and pink entities coming to leech off the source increases the Blank's combat ability, allowing them to empower their Attack Speed by +10 for a cost of 2 SE. The swarm lasts for 3 gaian posts, costing 1 SE per post to maintain, and has a CD of 3 Posts after the effect ends.
Name: Solidify - 800 Words Type: Personal Element: Dark Range: N/A Class: Blanks Description: A blank can bring forth their unique spiritual pressure to create a shield around themselves that is near unbreakable. Against an incoming attack with less Power than the Blank's Defense +15, the attack seems to do nothing. It is infact negated as soon as it hits the blank's form, seeming to fade from reality. Melee attacks just seem to phase right through the blank's shield-like membrane and through the blank's body entirely. This costs 3 SE to use with a 2 Post Cool-Down.
Name: Amnesia - 1000 Words Type: Ranged - 60' Element: Dark Range: N/A Class: Blanks Description: By projecting a wave of spiritual energy at a target, a blank can try to siphon off a large chunk of their enemy's memories, in turn, sealing off access to 1 Custom (Level 75 or Below) as long as their Spirit Power is Less than the Blank's Spirit Power+10. The custom is sealed off for 3 Posts, and costs the blank 2 SE to Cast, and 2 SE per post maintained. There is no Cool-Down, but the cost doubles for each case of amnesia a Blank has active. A target cannot be subject to more than 3 Seperate instances of Amnesia at once.
Name: Memory Surge - 500 Words Type: Personal Element: Dark Range: N/A Class: Blanks Description: A Blank can sacrifice one instance of Amnesia active on a target to gain a surge of memories, which in turn boost 1 stat of the Blank's choosing by +15 for 3 Posts. This effect costs 2 SE to initialize. Multiple instances of Amnesia can be sacrificed at once for larger boosts to a cap of +60 [cumulative] stats boosted.
Name: Spectral Phasing - 500 Words Type: Personal Element: Dark Range: N/A Class: Blanks Description: A Blank's version of the Fast Movement Technique. They simply blink in and out of existence at rapid paces, but never for too long as to do so would result in them fading into entropy without a strong enough will to make it back. It is seen more as a short-range teleport by those who do not understand it's deeper mechanics. Regardless, it boosts their Movement Speed by +10, and Costs 1 SE/Use with a 1 Post CD between each use.

Victor, being a blank comes across a totem in the middle of nowhere with cliffs that hang over it as if pointing to it. Victor draws closer to the totem in the middle of the area where he prepares himself without knowing to learn techniques that will truly make him known as a Blank and if any these abilities enemies see, it may be like a mystery to them. Victor then starts to suddenly blink in and out of existence appearing from one spot to the next, his body would just shift in one direction and next it feels like to Victor he didn't even more one itch but yet he is teleporting to different places in the valley. Victor moves at incredible speeds as each teleport his movement only stays increased by a certain degree but it can be used in various of ways to prevent himself from getting hurt by a enemy. Victor looks to the cliffs as it wants to reach up there to the highest point in the valley wanting to see what its like to be high up. Victor then uses the technique Spectral Phasing once more, one short teleport each time reaching the high cliff as he looked down. Victor then floats off of the cliff letting himself drop but uses the phasing technique once more appearing on the ground in a safe spot away from where his fall would of lead him. As he trains, he only gains memories of his training, giving him some feeling but it wasn't enough to change him at all. Though as he trained, he was starting to learn something, he is a being of some sort capable of appearing like he didn't exist but appears up once more existing. Victor's being is absorbing this training like its memories and yet the body is recognizing that power. The more Victor kept using the phasing technique, the more he mastered it and therefore his power as a blank is improving. Victor as a being is starting to develop now just in ability but also in mind. The memories of this training gives him something to push on but no name or identity is made in this so he will still be very well unknown to people even himself. The life of a blank will not be easy not even for Victor but when the day comes he gets a identity he will indeed grasp it and hold it so that he will not feel the lonely feeling as he does now. Though even if that, he will always thirst for new memories which will only make him stronger as a person and that in the future him as a blank he may make a change in people's lives... certain ones that is. Victor has a long way to go as a blank to discover his true in-heritage, his true power. However he can never dream about these as dreams are far out of his reach and no matter how many memories he gains, he will never be human. He will always be a blank, a white tiny spot in a picture, never to be completed. Perhaps Victor one day will come across another like him and if he has a mind by then, maybe he can ask that person questions if there is anyway to not feel so lonely but yet again this is the fate of the blanks. Interchangeable maybe but many species of this world, the world outside of it, and even further beyond would not be able to comprehend what abilities the blanks possess inside them. Victor then using the movement technique he learned, he reaches upon a cliff and stands there motionless not thinking about the memories he gained but his body changing spiritually with new found power.
Victor though was all alone, no source of any person or blank in sight not one bit so he went to the totem once more. As he lurked near it, a group of blanks appeared before him due to him not realizing he had activated a another technique called Swarm. The ability to summon his fellow kin which they linger to looking around for memories which they shake and float about. Victor looked to each of them, they all looked like him like clones that could do a certain job for him which in his being learned that they are here with the memories he had gained in his previous training. Victor and his fellow kin summoned with such unknowing, gathered around Victor having a feel for his trained memories, the little memories he had. It was like the kin were learning his experiences but Victor felt a boost in his power, it wasn't movement this time, it the speed of attack. The leeching connection that a blank was doing was strengthening Victor's speed of attack making him more versatile in the ways of the attack that blanks would do. Victor through this game and gathering of this memory, he has now a memory of what it is to among his own kind, his own people that never disappeared or never existed. Victor will never have the feeling of what it means to be a existing being but one that isn't suppose to exist, one that can be outside of the planes of existence and move about gathering memories in a very sneaky way it seems. What is a blank or what is he suppose to do that Victor may ask himself if he was able to. What would be the purpose of this life, if not a purpose for him who could give him a purpose to do? Such precious stuff like purposes may never be revealed to a Blank unless he gained his true self therefore gaining the train of thought that belongs to other such beings. A being may not be able to step into a plane of non existing beings like the Valley Of Screams. No being may be able to understand what a blank is due to that blanks can never stop craving memories neither what keeps their being together besides memories. These question Victor may ask himself or others but he may never get the answer; but only from himself. Victor as he trained, the memories gather, the memories get stronger and they become part of his very being that is keeping him together. Such thing like this another being like a Shinigami could always experience memories in a different way, a enjoyable way. Victor will never know this way neither have the enjoyment of keeping one memory and not having to crave for other memories. The craving of memories to Victor is like a thirst for blood, one that keeps him going; one that keeps him strong and motivated if he ever felt motivated. The swarm of his kin in the memory may remind him or being joy when he will one day be surrounded by people that care about him and want to see him get stronger. The kin then go away further into the valley when it seemed the memory is gone or simply absorbed into their beings.
Victor though his being was only getting stronger the more he pushed himself like if his body knew he didn't want to give up. The power of the spiritual pressure only risen more and more he spent in the Valley Of Screams, his new birth place and home. Someday Victor would want to train other blanks or train other people that may be able to understand him and his power that he gains from all of this. Victor has deep potential within him to be a great blank and even reach greater power that he never thought he would be able to absorb. Victor by accident flexed his spiritual pressure when a rock was coming down to hit him but the rock just faded through him as if it hit nothing. Victor started to form another memory but this one about the ability called Solidify that allows him to prevent harm to himself that can just make attacks phase through him as if he wasn't even there or even existed at all. Such ability like this can be looked at like he is a ghost of the past, one ghost that would only haunt someone and whenever that person tried hurting the ghost, they couldn't. Blanks are much different and higher standing which is like this, instead of haunting someone, they duplicate memories into themselves and may the victim lose the memory to the blank. The spiritual pressure makes Victor like a ghost as long as the enemy's attack has less power, not as much as spiritual power that doesn't rise above his ghostly and haunting defenses. Victor for some reason, smiled within his being but didn't know he smiled. Maybe someday someone can teach him what it means to smile, or laugh, or even have joy. Could it be when the true self is achieved, that his personality or a aspect of that identity teaches him the emotions and feelings of humans that live in the world of the living? So many questions could form and so many answers but also the unanswered things that can jump off the page of minds. Victor focusing on his defenses making him self having a good defense to just about any attack that comes at him with such velocity. Rocks falling down off the cliffs and Victor activating Solidify which he doesn't have to move but the rocks just fall through him not touching even a inch of his being. The essence of Victor's being only strengthens the more he learns about his race and the more memories fill him with such joy and happiness that he may only truly know when he matures into a form outside of his current standing experience of such body. "I must...attain more memories...more memories.. m...memories..." Victor's body echos this in a spiritual pulse as if his soul is calling out wanting a identity, to give him a purpose. Victor trains harder as his being echos its desire like Victor's soul is answering it with more training along side more memories. Victor is reaching extreme power nothing like anything before but he is training like he had done this before but doesn't remember anything of his past life. All of that was wiped away the day he was lost in the void, perhaps its destiny then and its destiny for him to train as a blank to try to help others if possible where he goes. Victor never knows where he ends up or what path that is going to be front of him but he will fight to his best. This power Victor continues to work with learning of his blank powers and wanting to achieve full maximum power. Victor using his other various of abilities he pushed himself using his fast movement technique combining it together to a good effective way of usage. The memories are only getting stronger in him as he further gets to the true power and all powers of the blanks will be his to have. Victor's being is really connecting together like a puzzle and things are only becoming clear to him. The clearer the picture, the better he got at his abilities what he has learned and what he is practicing. Victor though knows the stronger he gets the better and that later down the road he will be able to protect people. Victor though works hard further as he presses his spiritual pressure out protecting himself against all sorts of attacks that just appear. Such rocks and other things would come down the cliffs like its none of its business. However Victor didn't care but he wanted to get stronger as he continued to learn about the ability which would indeed save him alot of trouble in the long run. Victor never knew about his former life specially how back then his soul could of reached the soul society but he got lost therefore himself ended up in the Valley Of Screams. Victor, in the end was sadly killed by a man that had lost his mind and this is where he ends up after all. How can a man like Victor was die in such a way that his soul would end up here, never to become a soul reaper or just a regular living person in the soul society. These things are out of Victor's reach and always will be in the times ahead.
Victor then proceeds with more studies and the next one was based on two last abilities which are Memory Surge and the other is Amnesia. Victor then begins with the Amnesia ability such one that could affect memories in a target allowing him to absorb off of these memories that could lock away certain abilities preventing from such access. How can such powers like this be overlooked or even underestimated? The power of the blanks Victor yet discovers puts him in a very good position that nobody would expect him to be in. Every ability so far as created more of a understanding in Victor, a understanding he didn't have before all this training that he does right now. What a potential that was never really revealed until he came here to the place, the training grounds that all blanks should give a visit to the wisdom that is etched into the totem. The totem speaks of the wisdom for the Blanks that arrive here today, tomorrow or days ahead but it helps all blanks learn to defend themselves when they ever leave the Valley Of Screams though any blank can return here for study and rest too even. Someday Victor will teach other blanks if they can understand him but most likely not. Every blank is on their own when it comes down to learning their abilities every blank can do but mastering them is a whole different story. Every blank has a story that is forgotten. Its why such abilities like Memory Surge and Amnesia are taught here, they are the ultimate abilities here for blanks as they magnify the powers of a blank because memories is the core of power for a blank. Amnesia and Memory Surge are a combo of a sort that one places the debuff or pain of power on a target then along side the surge does it get revoked but it grants power to the blank. Draining off of someone's memories may not be pleasant but its something that grants true power to a blank to overcome the enemy. Stories are told, memories are shared, these things blanks what to learn and hear as they give power to them. A lot of people don't know about blanks and what fate brings them to existence but the kind of existence they live is not exactly confines in the word of exist. Victor working with Amnesia and Memory Surge, the information what the totem possesses is unreal plsu its really sacred to protect because if a enemy wanted to learn or destroy the source of abilities this is where the core is. Protecting this totem will indeed be important as it teaches the blanks the primary powers but the other powers that is in deeper somewhere else gained by shards of power that are scattered across the world. Primary powers are very important but not all can access the powers of blanks. The only way they can obtain this power is by finding this totem and to be able to read the knowledge if not, they will be out of luck. Victor would expect as much some point someone would want to attain this knowledge of blanks power but he can't just let anyone get near the totem. Victor uses Amnesia with Memory Surge gaining alot of power which his speed increased dodging rocks as the cliffs would crumble at times but the power only lasted a certain point of time. Victor has been training very hard not letting up, not slowing down either but by the time he is done, he will rest and some point head back out hoping to discover more things. The memories he has learned and the memories so soaked as a matter of fact that it has never really left Victor's mind or being. These things come and go but yet memories never really fades from someone, its etched into them presenting their history of life and what they have achieved. How can someone live without memories? its like being a puppet, a puppet without a soul is one that tries to justify why they can't move or do what they should do. Victor then trends down back to the totem where he examined all the past knowledge. Victor seems to lay down near the totem as if sleeping but actually absorbing all the knowledge once more attuning himself to its power and his body learning of it experiences that every blank would take in. Why would others want to learn this power? Its explainable really but only Victor and other blanks would know its secrets either though the mind or the soul itself in their bodies. Such leak of information could endanger the Valley Of Screams, but yet again there is blanks defending this place from invaders not letting them get to the sacred totem that sits here with presentable information. If someone learned these abilities and what they do for the blanks, the tricks of a blank will not work but only works if used in the right spiritual beings that are among the ranks of blanks. Victor will know this but yet keeps the secret about this totem and will someday lead other blanks to this totem for teaching and successfully creating more guards for the Valley Of Screams. Victor trained down here with dedication, the type you don't find very often but its because his being wants to protect this place, it keeps him safe and gives him a haven to go to if he wants to be by himself among his kin. Victor thought about his training even further and further, its like he dived down into the void of his mind seeing all the books scattered and glowing with such touch. Why would knowledge be so important? What would Victor discover in his adventures? Who will he become friends with that indeed strengthen him? All of this will be answered and Victor knows that, doesn't doubt it for a second or a minute. His spiritual power and all the time spent here counts for something and it never lingers away because he will always remember what he did here. Everything counts for something, this something will help him later down the road where things could be tough and one of his blank powers will aid him in his movements, his defense, and his offensive against any odds. Victor feels ready, abilities prepared, will even strengthened to where he feels like he could take anyone on but Victor knows someone can best him even with his capabilities. Memories flood into him from all the training, everything that ever conspired into him. Why? The training put him in a good balance of power, dedication and courage. These traits don't come so often but instead they have different forms but they only strengthen the future resolve that Victor will have in the world that he lives in. Victor's power is nearly complete from all the training as he rest for the time being as his reiatsu recovers from the hard core training. Such training like this doesn't come so easy as time can be limited and having peace and quiet does help for this sort of thing. Rest comes when the training or job is complete for what Victor has done will indeed help him in the future. Now ahead of him there is future powers to discover and to use for his own benefit and others included. Well the path has opened for him not just answers but more questions lie ahead of him. There will be a time these questions will be answered for Victor and that in the end he will very grateful for whoever and what reason to answer his questions that present themselves. May the destiny present themselves to Victor as he walks out of the Valley Of Screams back to where his journey and training really begins. Don't Stay, Forget Our Memories, Forget Our Possibilities, What Were You Changing Me Into, Just Give Me Myself Back, and Don't Stay.
Once again, a white figure gathers together in the center of the circle returning from the World Of The Living. This figure looks around with such emptiness, no emotion, no collection of understanding scars this figure. The pain of not understanding doesn't even faze the blank known as Magus, a name given to him from humans. They given it to him after seeing how curious he gets about the felines. The felines fascinate Magus though he will never get a grasp on that word or what it means. Though the powers of Magus do not cease on growing.
The more memories that pour into Magus, the more power keeps coming to him like a motherly embrace around a young child. Though he would call upon his kin as they would float down around him like ghost. The kin gather around him like its some kind of party as they wouldn't make a single sound. Not a lot of spiritual beings or none at all understand what makes Blanks do what they do. Why do Blanks gather in one place within Valley Of Screams at the call of a higher power? Why do they move on a single whim of one Blank such as Magus? The blanks move around Magus awaiting his single movement to make them tick and swarm like bees at his command.
The swarm of Kin dance as they would buzz through the air swooping at every spirit energy motion. As they do so, the memories of this simple action channel into Magus granting him unmemorable understanding of Swarm. Why is it that memories just get absorbed into beings like Magus? Why do Blanks listen to Magus despite him not being any different then him? No answer to these questions would squeeze into a being that can't hear emotionally, mentally, or physically. Does the love of his kin reach into him? Does he ache not being able to feel the love for his race?
How can he when he is nothing but a blank slate, like a piece of non worked clay? Clay don't speak or feel just similar to Magus right now. This place...Valley Of Screams is nothing but a fragment, a fragment that exist but can truly not feel sentimental things. Evolution can be very hard to achieve nor impossible within the confinements of the valley. If Magus was able to think, what would be his first thoughts? Would his thoughts be of his blank brethren? Would his thoughts fall down on freedom from the endless hunger of memories?
The swarms seem to plunder about around Magus, like a group of small children that simply wish to obey their father. Yet again father would be a inconceivable term as well to Blanks. Every single one of them can't remember their former lives since being lost between the darkness of The Soul Society and The World Of The living. Parents that could be in the World Of The Living wouldn't be able to ever recognize their former children, children that were completely forsaken to the fate of memory hunger. Memory Hunger...what pain every blank faces, this pain may not be realized now but if they evolve, the pain will increase ten fold. Would a blank prefer to remain unknowing to the memory hunger without proper exchange of individuality?
Maybe some day Magus will find out what he truly wanted if he is lucky enough to evolve. With Evolution, the answers may be found including about the loneliness being handled with multitudes of his kin around him. Would he be happy to have such power to call upon his kin in times of loneliness and battle? Would he use it very often regardless of gaining higher power? Nobody should challenge a group of Blanks, as someone being surrounded by them can potentially lose memories if one blank becomes powerful enough. Yet even a weak blank can make someone lose memories by simply being near them and attempting to touch them.
The swarm disappear without a trace similar to how a memory can forgotten by a old man after a single minute. Though Magus would begin to speed across the circle looking upon kin without any emotion at all. The kin seem to dance in the same kind of speed almost as if on the scatter hunt for memories. Some blanks go to the World Of The Living as quickly as they fade away into the abyss of the unknown. Such a unknown that every day potential blanks fade away into that unknown and never come back to reality. This is something Magus has to learn how to control with just instinct alone. The instinct to live and absorb memories is all that exist.
No personality, no back story, nothing underneath his name except the name that was given to him. How can he understand that he has a name? How can he understand the human language that is speaketh on him? He heard them but at the same time, did not. Only the hunger of memories rings in his ears like a phone constantly ringing, no matter how many times you hang up, it keeps ringing. Even though this ringing goes on, no emotion can stop it, or any thoughts even. Do Shinigami feel pain for the Blanks?
For all the souls that was lost? Why is it their speed can result into a down spiral of non existence? Is this the very survival that no blank may understand until evolution? Is there truly no mastery achievable for such a faded life? Can someone call a blank a living being? They have no chain of fate so ever, That was all lost in the day they became forever eternal like they are. So ever eternal, they can never recover their bodies, their memories, their lives even.
The spectral phasing is one thing every Blank should learn in order to defend themselves in the way of bending reality. Why is it or how is it the blanks can discover this power? Is it because of the stone in the middle? Is it like the blanks where its constantly echoing hunger for memories but teaches the Blanks the essentials? The essentials of finding memories at the fastest rate possible for a normal blank to achieve. By hopping back and forth with such a step that takes a spin, reality is being broken by Magus. Its like it grips on him trying to correct and drag him back to fading. However due to instinct, Magus refuses such a turmoil pull on his very being. In doing so, the power is nearly becoming his.
This phasing is helping Magus as he cannot at this moment fathom the sense of the chains of reality being released each time. Such a trivial thoughts of being free with each step into the faded reality plane cannot even be measured. Magus will someday be able to understand this freedom but it doesn't come without a daring cost. Such a cost no blank doesn't or can't understand due to their blinding hunger of memories and the abyss. Even a future cannot be placed in front of them like a plate of food on the dinner table of a beautiful family. Do they ever stand a chance of evolving with their blinding hunger of memories always at the helm of things? Will they ever live a normal life phasing in and out? Its only a matter of time after all.
The desire of memories is also formed into a simple symptom or known as Amnesia among others. Blanks can however perform this power but it takes a lot of practice, the kind of practice blanks naturally do without understanding, emotion, among other things that don't trouble them. This is one of their main powers, a power that many would consider dangerous to be hit by despite it being harmless. Memories.... He cannot even remember or even speak of it as he is one with none like the others... Will this power grant him or open a way for him to find what he is lacking? Would he be able to keep what he is lacking? Or would he just hunger for more and more until he burst like a soda out of a soda can? Would the pressure be so much that it would pop holes in the side of the soda?
Memories is so far out of their reach like the sky itself, they can reach and reach and reach... It will never be in their grasp. They are very persist like a child that wants to be perfect at all grades in school but to them, its about filling that void. Similar to Hollows, they have a void they feel empty with every day and they do anything to fill that void even if its a taste of a child's memory. Like scrap you would find in the tin where pigs feed, so do Blanks act in the same manner trying to obtain memories. The same is said for Hollows that in a way can be considered like cousins but they are nothing like Blanks. Blanks and Hollows are two beings who are both filled with such a void, one is more deadly then the other. Which is worse, losing your flesh and soul between the teeth of a monster or losing your memories and not being able to remember your little sister's birthday?
The sad thing is Magus wouldn't be able to sympathize with ones he takes memories from without feelings in his being. What is Sympathy to someone like Magus? Is it something he can speak vocally? Is it something he can taste, hear, learn, or even love to do? Can memories be like a teacher, like in a class room setting? Could someone that isn't a blank teach him such principles of what is right or wrong? Is someone going to scold him if he steals their memories without permission? What is permission to a Blank? Even if these questions are being presented, the Blanks cannot answer due to them being so blank and empty. No sympathy can be portrayed in blanks like pictures as these pictures were wiped away as water dowsed out the flame of life. The very flame that would speak of the life they lived but once extinguished, there is no going back.
Life..Death..Fate..Destiny.. among many others hide deep in memories, these are things a Blank may not understand until they have matured into another power. Why would memories hide in certain rhythms of the beating heart or how would a personality be squeezed into understanding? What is the fate of blanks? What is the deeper power that may reside within Magus? That is why these memories get devoured to obtain that understanding but for a normal blank, no matter how much they absorb. They will never understand human emotion or why a human develops the personality. They don't even understand how a human is born or how they learn to walk. Even the most simple things is so far away like a car driving off with a family relative. Blanks are like a new born baby that doesn't or refuses to learn simple principles.
They aren't suppose to exist but at the same time, they want to exist. Its a simple thing that tries to build itself together but countless bricks fall apart due to the lack of comprehension. The vast oceans of memories is never enough for a blank, what they truly want is life, to be able to keep memories and remember them. Can someone teach them about life or how critical memories become to a simple human being with no powers? The valley of screams is simply a place of pain and forgotten fragments they call Blanks. For a blank like Magus, he may have a chance at life, a potential of reaching the pinnacle every blank if they could, dream of.
Magus is so very close to learning the Amnesia ability, the ability to take memories from others and seal off the abilities of the person. Its one thing that may be like candy to him but he will never be able to get enough. Battle, the one thing that echos in his being to find memories, is through battle. Yet again instinct can also apply about survival like a wild lion out in the wild lands. To survive is one thing every creature understands even for a Blank yet again Blank doesn't have stories to tell or emotions to share, all of that is is simply a passing dream. No matter how hard a Blank tries to remember things, the dream simply dies the moment it breaches the mind that isn't a mind at all. That brain of a blank only drinks up the memory like a kid desperate for water and so thirsty that he has no strength. This is the only way for a Blank to gain strength is through pursuit of memories, even ones from cats. 2166 words Learned Swarm, Spectral Phasing, and Amnesia

Don't Stay, Forget Our Memories, Forget Our Possibilities, What Were You Changing Me Into, Just Give Me Myself Back, and Don't Stay.
Amnesia, what such a simple term for one that loses a memory. Hospitals and many other places do their best to attend to ones suffering underneath its grasp. What if they don't know if its due to the work of a Blank? Could they comprehend its form and shape? Could they dream to become a spiritual being and on the same plane of reality? Do they have the deep potential to reach such power? Powers that cause many spiritual beings aren't a common formula. For humans, they simply drought through the peaceful life of being born normal and with no spiritual powers at all. Is the powers of being a spiritual being worth it if you lose your memory, life, and everything you are in the process?
To many that could be a curse or a blessing even depending on their views among other things. So many factors can be calculated like a scientist in a lab that tries over and over to make one single experiment work. Yet whatever is created from it, are they born into a life that is wonderful full of bliss that they can smile all day or they turn out to be a monster? The type of monster that everyone fears despite all the good they try to do. Its like a moth, not many would adore moths, they are grey, not as beautiful as butterflies. In the World Of The Living, Magus had seen birds flying over head, he could reach out but the freedom of flying or knowing how it feels to be happy is not in his grasp. All he could do is devour the memory that flows in the image of the bird, but once its gone, the instinct only tries to recreate it again and again... Its like tears are flowing but they can't cry due to the lack of emotions. That pain...that hunger.. it only continues to smack and twist in the empty being they call a "stomach".
The memories only surge through Magus, the memories of his kin, watching them follow his every command even though he doesn't understand leadership itself. The memories of the Kin...they slowly fade away like a old dream, a dream that was so long ago. Why do a Blank dream even though its pointless? Is the feeling of being pointless in every day struggle push on certain blanks or is it just senseless pulses tasking on the empty being? Tasking...Orders...Chaos...None of these words can ever reach him, even the very understand or meanings that every human being, evil or good understand. He only reaches towards the sky as if he is waiting for the sun to blaze down on him and soak him up in memories. The memories of the sun, its so beautiful, but such beauty he cannot get close to. If he did, his spirit energy would burn up and he would truly not exist anymore. What is existence among him and his kin? Is it written about in text books in the World Of The Living? What is a text book to a blank? Is it what humans call it properly knowledge or just a book of memories waiting to be absorbed?
Its hard to determine that specially without a mind, without emotions, or anything to feel. With all memories gone within the surge, he only looks around like a lost boy, as he desperately looks for any interesting object to stare at. All a sudden he sees a old blade, one that has been left in the Valley Of Screams for a long time, even longer then the simple presence of Magus. As he gets closer to it, its a old knife, rusty and chipped almost as if it has been through many battles fighting his kin. A blade like this one cannot be annexed into the being like a Magus. They have no mass is what it appears, the only thing they can do is take away memories, speed in between reality, and devour those memories. Magus is different, due to his connection to cats, he has gained unique abilities that would allow him to defend himself despite not knowing what it means to defend oneself.
Speaking of defense, or loss of defense meaning for a blank, the spiritual pressure of blanks can be hardened. For many years, previous warriors that have fought Blanks in battle cannot understand one thing. Due to the faded and broken reality that Blanks suffer, they imagine they would be very fragile even to the touch. Its very complicated matter no doubt as their spiritual pressure can provide a way of a simple sword to fade through them completely. No scratch, no wound, no death can seem to touch them through physical means. It been years since Magus had since felt a blade touch him from his previous, permanent, forgotten life. In his previous life, he was a human being, one that was slain by hollows. Despite that death, he was later found by a Shinigami. Even though a konso was done, it didn't mean his life of suffering would end there.
Every blank goes through this process but it is only by chance that it occurs like how a single Ace in a joker's deck. That day, a Ace was pulled and this turned his fate upside down and forever changed. Due to this, he gained immense power further then a simple human being he once was. The price though was too great, his life, his memories, everything once was wiped clean like a bank being emptied of all of its treasures. Nothing can make up for this nor could the Shinigami find out that the soul got lost in the Valley Of Screams. How can a blank blame any soul reaper if they can't feel anger or even remember what happened in between? Whatever memories they gain in the future is their new life, a fresh new start, new powers and abilities added to their own powers.
Such a shield is known as Solidify what many may call it, or something similar to a ghostly membrane. This membrane is how their body is, so phasing and appearing to be soft like a bed time blanket. In reality this is the way their body is, untouchable by things that do exist truly, like how second generation can't touch the first generation of the past. Its the same how the past can't touch the future, that is how it is between a blank and reality. Nothing is comparable when it comes to what blanks do in a plane where they shouldn't trend or patrol even. Memories that once existed in reality gets dragged into such beings of the unreality, the lost reality. Even a era of people could of been lost as well even when Shinigami konso them for the Soul Society.
Blanks can be considered a loss cause or even a "mistake" to get rid of in order to hide the failures of the Shinigami. Though mistakes cannot be tied in with the Blanks as they have no mind, no chain of fate, no control over themselves either in some ways. They could be even mistaken as a strange form of hollows, like mixed up lemonade that shouldn't be placed in a fresh glass of water. Before such dangerous assumptions should be made about such creatures like the Blanks, Anyone that encounters them should do their home work. Yet Blanks do remain a mystery at times because Blanks may not show up at certain time intervals in the World Of The Living under strange circumstances like Magus for example. They haven't moved due to Magus not heading to the World Of The Living.
With the examination of membrane and how unreality gets mixed into it all, the powers of the membrane defense has become part of Magus. Its like his body had become a new clothe or a new body rather, one that is more reinforced then previous visit to the World Of The Living. Magus is kind of looking in the direction of the World Of The Living in trance with instincts running about within about the possibly of finding new memories. 1,362 words Learned Memory Surge, Solidify

Cold sand was the first thing that Dareon knew as he came to consciousness. He struggled to recall any other detail about anything, holding his head against the searing pain that wracked his entire body like electric convulsions. After a few agonizing moments of not knowing anything, a sense of loss began to wash over the poor soul, laying helpless in the sand.
It was disorienting to say the least, not knowing a single detail about anything, even his own identity, but Dareon gritted his teeth and stood, opening his eyes. He was surprised to see that it was daytime, despite the cold, and he looked out at a vaste wasteland of sand and cliffs, not another soul to be seen. The sense of loss did not fade, but only grew. He did not know who he was, or why he was grieving, but he could not shake the feeling that he had lost something very dear to him. that he had lost everything dear to him. even without the specifics, he began to cry, alone in the sands.
When more tears failed to come, Dareon looked around, taking stock of his surroundings. He did not know who he was, or where he was, but he could figure these things out. He was a perfectly intelligent creature. He vaguely knew not to call himself human, and almost if by instinct, his hand shot up to feel his pointed, elf-like ears. The shock of finding elf ears was almost as much as the shock of remembering his own name.
Dareon Silverwind...
This little piece of information was some small comfort to the lost soul. He soon dound another comfort, laying in the sand a mere few feet from him. A flute. He instinctively picked it up and pressed it to his lips. The sound that came out was well-practiced and beautiful, as if he had played every day of his life. In a way, the sharp-clear sound of the flute was a great comfot to Dareon. It was a piece of who he was, no matter how small.
Dareon simply played for several minutes, letting the music flow out of him. As he heard the sounds, he began to recognize the tune, if only vaguely. Ave Maria... Eva loved this song... The memory struck him like a bolt of lightning, searing and painful. Pale porcelain skin, ruby red hair. And just like a bolt of lightning, it was gone. Dareon fell to his knees, remembering her name, remembering her face, remembering her voice. She had been his everything, that was all he remembered. The flute fell to the sand with a dull thunk. At first, Dareon began to cry again, but his sobs slowly morphed until he was laughing full-throatedly, his cackles echoing throughout the sands.
He woudl siply have to rediscover who he was. Even if that meant reliving the pain that had drove his memory from him. He owed that to himself. He owed that to Eva, whoever she was.

As the fit of laughter subsided, Dareon looked up to notice the swarm of beings gathering around him. "Ah! you must have been drawn by the music! Never fear, the music never ends when I'm around!" and with that, every memory left Dareon's mind as he began to play whole-heartedly. The beings began to circle around him in a threatening way that Dareon mistook for dancing. The circle of beings, blanks as he recognized them, though he knew not from whence the memory came. They did not betray their hunger. they betrayed nothing. Dareon felt a certain kinship to them as they began to close in. He knew he had to defend himself, nonetheless. His hand went to his blade as if by instinct. He certainly was not aware he was carrying a blade until it was out and before him. The words that came from his mouth were as if from another. "If you do not like my music, perhaps we shall dance!" The sheer corniness of the line struck him even as he descended upon the gathering horde. He pitied them, even as he cut the first two down. They were mindless. The distinction struck Dareon like another bolt from the sky. If they were mindless and nearly identical, why was he different? What was it that made him unlike them enough that he could look down upon them. Another fell, but Dareon apologized even as it faded into dust. Two more. Two more apologies. The apporached and were struck down. After the first dozen or so, Dareon began to lose count, and instead began to hum to himself a bright, lively tune. Music was all he had now, at least for now. Against his will, Ave Maria began to come from his lips. He gave into the music, and began to kill in tune to the etude. Before long, the song and its sadness had lost all meaning. There was only blood now.
Dareon did not know how much time he had wasted slaughtering the blank masses, but when the song ended, he was alone again, surrounded by so much dust. Another realization shot across his mind like an arrow. He was truly and completely mad. He was, perhaps sane enough to know his own madness, but that was a small comfort in the face of the torrent of mixed and conflicted emotions that came over the bard as he stood alone in the wastes. Perhaps Eva wasn't real. Perhaps the word Tra'al meant nothing. Perhaps he was just soe other mindless beast wandering the wastes trying to remember who he was. He shook the thought from his mind. It simply could not be true. If he was like them, why was he formed differently? Why were they mindless and well, blank, when he was so much more. Had he always been so much more than his peers? He was not sure. He picked up his flute and began to play as he walked aimless, trying desparately to remember anything about himself or anything else.

As he played with no particular goal in mind, he sat cross-legged in the sand. the blanks began to gather again, but he did not move. Perhaps they would eat them, but Dareon did not mind. He found himself getting lost in his own music, tears streaming from his face. He could not remember the words, but it was as if Ave Maria was burned into his mind. He could never forget that song, even if he wanted to. Just as he would never forget his Eva. His Eva Pime. The blanks did not attack this time, but kept their distance. Perhaps they had seen what short work Dareon had made of the ones who had dared interrupt his performance, but Dareon thought maybe they just enjoyed the song. Soon, they left and Dareon was alone once more. He continued to play, but no more blanks came to listen. Eventually, Dareon resigned himself to sit in the sand until he remembered something else. He sat there for what felt like hours before another memory came to him. A name. Rahvir. Dareon did not know who the name belonged to, but the fact that there was another name to remember besides his dead wife was a big plus. A chill swept through him, though he could not place where it came from. He stood once more, and walked into the moonlight, leaving this place.
Akamaru strolls through the Valley of Screams and arrives in Stonehenge Circle. A faint waft of memory flashes in his mind causing him to pause and soak it in. A pleasant feeling to have, he decides. Memories are a sweet food to blanks and they will often swarm together to gain any scrap of memory or go for a free for all and en masse converge only to attack one another to get to the memories. It is not something that he would have done in life, but that life has been long forgotten and even the name is likely just yet another memory fragment that he has absorbed over the years. No matter, however, this is his existence now - a devourer of any form of memory that he can manage. At the moment he looks like any other blank: feathery white with red limbs and a rosy-colored head. Still, he can temporarily take on his former form: a handsome young man with flame-red hair and a quite fashionable suit, even after all this time it looks good on him. His intentions are not overtly evil in intention, rather a simple matter of survival and the primal desire to become stronger. It would be a mistake to believe that his desires have any moral alignment at all since at the moment he is barely different from that of a wild animal seeking prey. 233 x 3 = 699

Venator Ryoshi der Fanger
Reitsu 40 | Speed 7 | Strength 5 | Defense 6 | Stamina 5 | Intelligence 7 | Spiritual Power 5 Venator strides through the den of memories that is Stonehenge Circle. The knowledge gained from the central totem was valuable knowledge in the hunt for memories. While there he noticed one of his kind who seemed to have more sense of self than the others. Quite the intriguing fellow. However, he is distracted from that as the few memories he does have flicker through his head. Reliving the memories is almost as good as first obtaining them. Memories of the hunt, of predation, and of devouring things. His movements shift almost to that of a predator stalking prey as he moves even closer to the central totem pole.

Akamaru does not notice him at first; opting instead to decend upon a hapless soul that just swept in. He devours all of the memories. So satisfying. As as a result the wayward soul transforms into a blank and begins to meander looking for memories. The memories surge through his system, causing a pleasant sensation. "Delicious ..." he opines, speaking for the first time since he had arrived some untold ages ago. Memories of forming a bow. Memories of hunting hollows. Memories of weilding a zanpakoutou. These were all disconnected from one another once, but now he feels them becoming one with him, aiding him in regaining some semblance of identity. It will be a while before he can truly achieve this. He turns and looks over at Venator and decides to hunt along side him. The tasty memories within him would be quite delicious, but at the moment it would be unlikely that he could devour them. Together the two of them could hunt more efficiently.

Venator Ryoshi der Fanger
Reitsu 40 | Speed 7 | Strength 5 | Defense 6 | Stamina 5 | Intelligence 7 | Spiritual Power 5 Venator’s head perks up as he notices the other blank approaching him. A good predator is always alert to those that may prey upon them. He doesn’t make his alertness too obvious though. He makes a point of keeping the blank in his range of vision, but doesn’t look directly at him unless he walks within pouncing distance. In fact, he starts looking about to see if any of the other blanks were too close. It wasn’t uncommon for blanks to prey upon each other for memories, and he was no prey. His hand drifts to an axe that isn’t at his waist, existing only in his memories. No not his, but someone else’s. However, they are his now.

Akamaru arrives quickly and circles Venator several times as he evaluates him. "Hmmm ..." Akamaru seems to be musing, but at the same time he is not quite yet doing anything. Venator reaches for a weapon that is not there. This causes Akamaru to pause and evaluate him for a moment. What does this getsture mean? A faint flickering of a memory hits him. Weapons are worn at the hip. Or was it a cell phone? What is a cell phone? No, that's not the right posture for that. He does not waste time with introspection on what these scraps of memories mean. An errant soul falls in from the precipice world. Akamaru decends upon him like a perigrin falcon on a dove. Sweet delicious memories! He begins to feed upon his memories. "Feed," he says as he absorbs them.

Reitsu 40 | Speed 7 | Strength 5 | Defense 6 | Stamina 5 | Intelligence 7 | Spiritual Power 5 Venator watches the errant soul, but does not go for it as the other blank is closer. The speed at which the blank descends upon the source of memories makes him surer of his decision. He doesn’t have an interest in fighting off a hollow here, since one small fight can cause the rest of the blanks to swarm as well into a free for all. One does not poke a sleeping bear. Where did that come from? One of his various memories, or was it more than one. It didn’t matter. He once again turns his attention to the totem of knowledge that contained the skills of the blanks. He felt like he needed to learn more skills, to grow stronger. The stronger he is, the stronger the memories he can devour.

Akamaru returns to investigating Venator at the next whiff of memory, but his attention is once again drawn to a better source. He feeds upon it ravenously and starts to search around for more memories. "Memories ..." he says as he continues to hunger. He swiftly encircles Venator once more and then begins to head off, hesitating and looking back at him as if to indicate that they should travel together. Time to hunt. Time to grow stronger. Time to train in powerful skills to allow them to find better prey.
