The cemetery is a place for mourning, however Hollows have been known to congregate here in order to take easy prey that might be vulnerable and distracted. Often times Shinigami come here to kill those hollows or to perform Soul Burials on any souls that may linger here, reluctant to move on.

Jakir Sa'ord took a deep breath, his eyes closing in relaxation. It was not often that he got a moment to himself, so he took his time to appreciate the opportunity to play without an audience.
He plucked a string on his harp, the sound carrying through the air, echoing off the gravestones.
Jakir had always enjoyed the solemn silence of the cemetery. He didn't necessarily enjoy being surrounded by the dead as much as he enjoyed not being surrounded by the living. The dead did not follow you around, begging you for more songs. The dead stayed quiet and listened, and did not complain when you finished playing. In this was, they were the perfect audience.
Jakir's fingers picked up their pace, strumming and plucking the harpstrings, a lively tune swelling out from his harp, filling the air around him.
Jakir had often exchanged such lively, cheerful songs for spells back home on Alfheim, but it was rare that Jakir got to play his harp for his own entertainment, as he once did.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx↪ Theme: Let. Us. Love.
Did he enjoy the many things that went bump in the night? The silence probably swept him along so much so that he hadn't even notice that he'd become prey or perhaps he ignored her presence. Either mattered little as she watched with blossoming hues of lilac and crisp, onyx locks. Folding through her digits as she smoothed them out, a almost wicked smile overtaking her in those moments to delay her tact towards finding a morsel. This had been worth her time after all. Ceasing the inner drums that beat about, Aoi tossed her hair to the air as she listened to the lovely strum of that harp. A beautiful instrument; how she longed to hear his sound played just as well. Like a feline of some sort she crept ever closer, amused by the heart filled echo and the emotion that came from the soul. She didn't know much about music, but she did understand how one felt when immersed in something they loved.
Her love was just a bit more carnal - perhaps, not even love at all. Lust. Yes, it was lust.
That mattered little. Her arrival was neither subtle nor tactful. It was as plain as day. A woman with charred hair and skin depicted as that of vampires. Alabaster and lustrous; with charming eyes and skin that made you want to feel. At least, she wanted to make him want to~ "Lovely sound. . Lovely. . " Her honey voice dripped, a siren calling to a man who didn't even know he was being swept away.

Jakir gave a polite nod, as a mortal audience made itself present, a quick sign of acknowledgement; His fingers never stopped moving at his harpstrings, picking up their pace, strumming in a quick, frantic, driving rhythm, primal; violent. Suddenly, as suddenly as the moment of death, the song ended, his arm coming out swiftly into an elaborate bow to his mortal audience.
She was clearly beautiful. This much was apparent, even to Jakir's undiscerning eyes. His heart belonged to his harp, and the music that he played; this left room for little else. To any other man, and perhaps Jakir himself, in days long past, the woman would be positively bewitching, as one designed by the gods to arise primal desires in mortal men. These charms were useful as tools to bend the wills of those vulnerable to them, Jakir knew this from experience. He often used his own charm, and the music that he made, to his advantage when dealing with others. Seduction through body was as effective as seduction through song. Jakir smiled, his eyes as grey as the skies above him.
"Good afternoon, fair traveler. Though a performance was not expected, I am delighted to have played for you today. My name is Jakir Sa'ord, Jack of the Seven Strings."
For enphasis on the words 'seven strings' jack gave two quick strums of his harp.
"What, may I ask, is your name, dear. I must put a name to such beauty, so i might never forget it."
After leaving the old mansion Jameson started heading to his home in the Karakura Residential District. His nose stopped bleeding shortly after leaving the place, and as he walked he occasionally wiped his nose on the sleeve of his old, red knit sweater. If it stained he didn't care; no one could tell either way. The path that he took home took him through the forest for the most part, which at that time of the evening made him feel a bit uneasy. Even with all the training he'd had back at the coven he still was relatively easily frightened. It was something else he had to learn to get over and take care of, he knew.
At a brisk pace he entered the cemetery, his hands in both of his pants pockets and a black bag slung over his shoulder. He was deep in thought as he walked, trying not to pay too much attention to what was going on around him. There were several times that he'd come to the graveyard since he moved to Karakura only to witness a strange sort of beast lurking around. He was familiar with seeing spiritual creatures -- it came with the territory of being a witch -- but these creatures... he knew fully well that he wasn't prepared to deal with them. Not on his own.
Back in America, when he was still in the coven, he'd had to go on a few spiritual excursions with his fellow coven members. Even that was a challenge. Back at the coven Jameson wasn't exactly known as the best witch in the bunch. Most of the witches were females, all around the same age as him, and they all tended to have a lot stronger abilities than he himself had. He didn't really mind it, truthfully, but in a way it still bothered him. He wanted to be stronger, and wanted to be able to prove to himself and the others that he was strong, too. But it was going to take some time. A lot of time, perhaps. But he was ready.
With a deep sigh he stopped halfway through the cemetery and looked around. It was silent. Really, really silent. And it didn't appear like anyone else was nearby. At least not that he could see, anyway. In a way it was almost... peaceful. He thought for a few moments before setting his bag on the ground, going over to a nearby grave and leaning down to look at the tombstone.
It was a typical night for the surgeon. It had been another long day at the hospital seeing a number of patients who came in for various things. Many of them wanted to thank her, or ask her questions, or cry. Elena, though, always kept a straight face and just spoke to them as little as she could. Her job was to help save their life or fix their affliction. It wasn't to be their best friend. And she always intended to keep it that way.
As she made he way into the old Karakura Cemetery she took in a deep breath, readjusting the bag on her shoulder. She came to the cemetery a few nights a week to study various things; mostly to get a feel for how the energy in the area shifted over time, or to observe any creatures that may linger around. She'd even spoke to a spirit from time to time; or, rather, attempted to. Her powers had weakened considerably after her home was cut off from her, and now she felt weaker than most of the basic humans. It made her feel irritably and weak, and that was more than annoying for her.
This night, though, she had a feeling was going to be a little bit different. That first thought came to mind as soon as she saw someone new in the cemetery; a young man observing a tombstone not far from her. The more she looked at him the more she realized he wasn't a new individual there at all. She'd seen him wandering through the cemetery a few nights before, always either coming from or going to the forest on the other end. She could feel a strong spiritual energy about him; something that told her he was more than just another observer. He made her curious.
Slowly she started to walk over towards him, against her better judgment. Typically Elena wasn't a talkative person, especially with people she'd never met before. But she could tell this kid could be useful to her, and she had to find out if that was true, and in what capacity. As she approached him he looked up at her, a bit surprised. She didn't make any sorts of motions towards him but stopped walking.
"Good evening. I didn't mean to startle you. Might I ask what you're doing out here?"
He looked back at her with a sort of confused expression. She came off as a crazy person, she imagined, so she sighed lightly and looked out around the cemetery for a moment before looking back at him. He'd stood up by that point and grabbed his bag, looking back at her.
"My apologies. My name is Dr. Volkov, I work at the hospital in town. I'm out here doing some observations."
Alright, so perhaps that made her seem even more like a crazy person, but she had a feeling the guy knew she wasn't just a simple doctor. She could feel his spiritual energy, even as weak as her own abilities were, which meant she knew he could feel hers.
Before the woman even said anything to him he felt her presence. He nearly missed it, though, as he'd been completely focused on his own thoughts, but he felt it. When she got close enough he looked up at her, a bit startled not because she'd come seemingly out of nowhere but because of the way she looked. She was incredibly tall and then and had long, silver hair. She wore a pencil skirt and a very nice blazer, along with some platform heels. She looked incredibly out of place to be wandering around a cemetery so late at night.
And then she spoke to him, asking what he was doing out there. "I could ask you the same thing, lady." He wanted so badly to speak back to her but truthfully he didn't entirely know how to respond. He could tell her he was just visiting a former relative, but he had a feeling the woman wasn't that dumb. He wasn't there to do that, and he could tell that she wasn't either. No; she had a spiritual energy about her. But he couldn't tell if she was a witch or not. She certainly didn't look like one, but... that didn't mean anything.
"I..."
He started, but wasn't really able to think of anything to say. The woman looked away for a few moments and as she did so he pushed himself up to his feet, grabbing his bag and slinging it over his shoulder again, holding onto the strap a bit nervously.
Not but a few moments later she finally introduced herself: Dr. Volkov. He'd never heard of her before, but that didn't really surprise him. He didn't know very many people in town and he'd not had any reason to seek medical treatment since he'd gotten there, save for a typical physical. When she mentioned that she was out there doing observations his eyes narrowed a bit and he stood up a bit straighter.
"Observations? Can I ask what..."
He trailed off again, but this time not because he didn't know what to say. This time it was because of something he saw. Just past the woman, maybe twenty yards back, he saw one of the creatures. A big, lumbering creature of nearly all black, save for a skill-like mask where it's face should've been. His eyes widened a bit, he watched the creature for a few moments before looking back at the woman.
"I, um, I..."
He wasn't entirely sure how to go about this; should he tell her about it? Should he run away? Would the creature try and attack? What if it was in his head and she wasn't able to see it? He started to feel a bit panicked.
More or less the guy's reaction to her and what she had to say was pretty much expected. She'd not been actively seeking out new people to talk to for so long that she'd lost the old bubbly personality she used to have. Perhaps she'd lost that when everything else had been taken away... she shook the cliché thought from her mind and focused instead on the matter at hand.
When he started to ask what sorts of observations she was doing she smirked just a little bit. Had he asked she would've told him... to an extent. What was the worst thing that could happen; he ran away calling her crazy? She was used to it. But instead of asking her what she was doing he froze up, eyes widening as he looked behind her. For a few moments she just watched him, both mesmerized and confused, as he stumbled over trying to say something. Finally she turned around to look behind her, spotting what most likely made him so concerned. She nodded lightly.
"So you see it, too. I knew it."
She looked back at him, smiling lightly. She was right after all.
"That's a hollow; a spiritual monstrosity that looks for other souls to devour. Living or deceased. They tend to frequent places like this because deceased souls are much easier to consume than living ones. Less to fight off, you know."
The guy kept his eyes on her for the most part, occasionally looking back over her shoulder as the hollow as it sauntered around the graveyard looking for souls. She could tell that he was confused but trying desperately to grasp the situation as a whole. He was familiar with the spirit world, she could tell. That was good; very good, actually. Made things much, much easier for her.
As she turned back around she watched the hollow for a few moments more before it froze, seemingly sensing something. She knew what that meant. It'd found a soul. The two watched the hollow as it slowly started to turn and look their way. Elena cursed quietly under her breath before turning to look over at the guy again.
"They don't go down easily, so there's two options here: fight or flight. If you have any way of fighting I suggest you use it."
Even considering what was going on she tried to remain relatively calm. Hollows and battling with the spiritual realm were nothing new to her; she'd come from a place that walked along the line of the spirit realm a lot closer and easier than this place. But she could tell this was new for him, and likely terrifying as all hell. But she wanted to see what he could do; get a gage on how he would perform under pressure. See what kinds of abilities he had.
She, herself, had none. She'd lost everything and now her only option was to run. She knew that. But perhaps he could protect them. And if not? Well... she was always ready for a good old game of cat and mouse.
Wait... what? Jameson's eyes widened even more when he looked back to the doctor, not fully understanding what in the hell she was talking about and what in the hell was going on. So she knew what this thing was? She wasn't surprised or concerned? He figured that should make him feel more at ease but it sure as hell didn't. It just made him way, way more confused and freaked out.
He shifted his weight nervously from leg to leg as he listened to the woman tell him about the creature. It was a "hollow"; a bad spirit. So was it the spirit of a creature, or the spirit of someone who did bad things? Was it even a spirit from this time and place at all or some ancient being? And most importantly, what the hell was it going to do to them if it saw them?!
He started looking at the creature again until she mentioned that it fed off of living souls, at which point he whipped his head back over to look at her, eyes wide again.
"Wait, what?!"
He said a bit quieter than he really should've, still trying to process everything. The both of them turned back to look at the creature again, this time just... in silence. They watched for a little bit before the thing stopped moving. As soon as it stopped moving Jameson felt like his heart stopped and he watched, just waiting to see what would happen. He hoped beyond hope that it was just going to vanish or go away, but... nope. Of course not. It turned and looked directly at them.
The woman started talking again and he turned to look at her, listening to what she said but not fully comprehending it. She... she wanted him to fight?! That thing?! He took in a deep breath and turned away again, looking towards it. Slowly he started to shake his head.
"No, no, I... no. I-I mean I, I can try, but I don't... it..."
Before he could fully articulate what he was trying to say the creature let out a sort of shriek and started moving quickly towards them. The woman turned and looked at him, telling him to act now or run, and he started to breathe heavily.
"Holy f---!"
He yelled loudly before bringing his hand back and then thrusting his palm forward, using all the fear he had to absorb some of the spirit energy around him and turn it into a physical energy. As he thrust his palm forward the ball of energy shot from his hand, shooting straight at the creature.
He took in a deep breath and staggered back a bit, watching as the ball of energy struck the creature right in the mask. It stopped it in it's tracks, the mask cracking a little on the edge. The creature -- hollow, rather -- moved a bit from side to side before shrieking again, moving forward towards them again.
The woman yelled something at him and he glared over at her, cursing repeatedly under his breath as he dropped his bag to the ground, closing his eyes and looking upwards. He held his arms out to either side and started to whisper under his breath. Slowly he began to rise off the ground, hovering just about a fit off the ground. When he opened his eyes he looked the creature dead in the face and pulled both his hands back, letting out a yell as he flung both hands forward, two balls of energy flying forward again. This time they both combined, hitting the hollow straight in the middle of it's mask.
The hollow stopped moving again, this time the mask splitting straight up the middle and fracturing across the side. Jameson watched, lowering himself back down to the ground, as a corner of the hollow's mask began to crumble off.
Before he could do anything the woman grabbed his arm, causing him to look over at her. He reached up and wiped his nose again, seeing it was bleeding, and looked back to her just in time for the hollow to shriek again.
So, the kid had some power after all. Elena stood at the side-lines just observing, a serious look on her face. She needed to see what he could do, and she knew that only encouraging him would just make things worse. So she kept quiet, just watching and observing.
His first attempt was interesting. It didn't do much at all to the beast but it showed her what he had hidden up his sleeves. He had power. He had abilities. But she couldn't tell fully just exactly what that was. But he had something, something useful. She watched as the hollow turned back towards them again, letting out another shriek before continuing to move forward. Cursing, she looked over at him, her voice getting stern.
"Now, kid! You've gotten act NOW!"
And as if something switched on him he changed, slowly beginning to levitate off the ground. She took a step backwards, watching him as he seemed to be in another state, another mind and consciousness. She looked over towards the hollow again, then back to the kid as he let out a yell, pulling back his hands before blasting the hollow with energy. This time she smirked, almost feeling pleased for him.
But it didn't do enough. It wasn't enough. The kid lowered back down to the earth and the hollow was still there, still on their plane of being. She cursed under her breath and reached out, grabbing his arm so that he'd look at her. She was about to tell him to try again when she noticed his nose; blood was dripping from both nostril. Her eyes widened a bit before she looked over to the hollow again. She cursed once more.
"Come on, it's too strong. We have to go now or it'll be too late."
She took one last look over towards the hollow before she turned and started to run as quickly as she was able to, pulling the kid with her. He stumbled for a bit at first before getting his footing and following along with her. She ran over towards a mausoleum, running up to the gate on the front of it. She pulled at it but it wouldn't open. Suddenly the kid pushed her aside and held his palm out to the gate, an energy blast shattering the lock and busting it open. Looking back at him she smirked.
A shriek from the hollow caused her to look back over her shoulder, seeing that it was getting closer. She cursed under her breath again before pushing the kid into the mausoleum, she herself following shortly after. Once inside she slammed the gate shut again, staggering backwards as the hollow came up. It stood outside for a few moments, before seemingly losing interest and meandering away.
Panting a bit, she looked over to the kid and nodded at him. He'd done well, and he could definitely be of use. After a few moments she smirked.

There was reconstruction going on in town, rebuilding after the recent bouts of destruction. But none of that concerned him. No one tried to kill him or his doll, so he did not care what happened. And since his apartment was fine, why care about the rebuilding. Once in the graveyard and out of sight of most, he pulled out an inscribed golden locket and summoned his doll. She appears beside him, floating about half a foot off of the ground and following him. “Here again? You know that coming here so much you will never get over this sadness.” A look of concern is on her face. He has been visiting this cemetery, and a specific grave in it, far too often these past ten years. She was far past worrying about him. “See, that would matter if I cared about getting over this. But I don’t.” He reaches his destination. The grave of his wife. He places a bundle of flowers on the gravestone, and just spends a while standing in front of it. On it is a framed picture made into the headstone. Anyone around would notice it was an exact match for the appearance of the woman with him, except that the woman with him is completely white. He spends about an hour doing this, before turning and leaving the graveyard in silence. “You need to do something else, instead of just trying to spend your life living in the past. You need to move on from…” Her words are cut off as he returns her to the crest before exiting the cemetery and making his way back to town.

XXXXX Edward leads those following him to the near by graveyard where he know spirits congregate and people are generally buried with some of their valuables, or at least he knew it was like that back before he spent gods know how long trapped in hueco mundo. As he arrives at the graveyard Edward looks slightly annoyed by the lack of spirits haunting the place and thinks "Where are all the free snacks? This place had plenty of souls lingering about last time I was here... whenever that was. well maybe they are hiding and will come out if their graves are disturbed" His memories from before he became trapped in hueco mundo feeling weirdly distant and blurry. After finishing that train of thought Edward tells Ryan and the other bount that seemed to be another military experiment like taidia was, joined in on the attack of karakura springs, and hadn't actually introduced himself yet (not that Edward cared for introductions while he was still hungry and having "fun"), "All right you two looks like the usual snacks that linger about this place are hidden today, but they should come running if their corpses are "disturbed." like this!" as he fires a gatling of Bala at a group of near by graves. The beams explode on impact and thus blow open the graves exposing the coffins that Edward then proceeds to pry open with Fenrir's help and loot for valuables before easily crushing the skulls in the palm of his hand.

Bakuhatsu follows the other bounts to the cemetery outside of town. The stronger bount of the two, the only way he could tell them apart as both of them had some kind of wolf for a doll, made a comment about a lack of souls and then started destroying graves to draw them out. Bakuhatsu starts digging small pits over each grave, placing in a grenade, covering the whole, and then remotely detonating the grenade to blow open the grave. He then launches a grenade into the open grave to simultaneously blow open the coffin and disrupt the corpse inside. He then moves to the next grave and does the same. Kasai helps clean up the mess afterwards by using a fireball to light the coffin and parts of the corpse on fire.

Ryan has accompanied the other two to the cemetery and like Edward is disappointment by the lack of souls or even hollows their was not even a blasted Shinigami. Ryan hated the Shinigami and the Quincy more than any other race. Even if he had been both at some point in time. "If none come out then either some Hollows or Shinigami came by and cleaned up some." Ryan mutters as he watches Edward start to attack some of the graves. "Could also be another race but those two seem most likely." He comments as grenades start exploding. This causes Ryan to laugh coldly "Come Shadow Fang we can not let them have all the fun." He says to his wolf like doll only to find him tearing apart a small Hollow. Ryan then grumbles about being left out glances over at Ikari to make sure that he does not get to close to the other bounts grenades. He then proceeds to dig up some of the graves causing as much destruction as he can in the process. At one point he finds a trio of plus souls and calls out to the other dolls so that he can share with Edward and Ikari. This not something that Ryan would normally do and is mildly surprised at himself.
----->"This has gone on for far too long!" A feminine voice calls out from the shadows of the graveyard. Standing a top a stone fence post was a teenage looking girl. One with long, raven black hair, steel blue eyes, and a red skirt on. A member of the Elemental Senshi was now on the scene, one of its leaders no less. She would do her pose, pointing directly at Edward and his doll, "Our ancestors demand respect and repayment for your crimes, Fiend! I, Senshi Hi, am here to punish you and put these spirits to rest!" The feminine figure then kicked from her post and flipped gracefully in the air. While airborne, Senshi Hi interlaced her fingers, pointed at both the index fingers, and bends her elbows so that those fingers point upwards. A small ball of fire ignites just off the tip of the warrior's fingers, before she straightens her arms and fires it. "Fire Soul!" Hi calls out as the orb expands while heading for Edward and his canine doll, Fenrir. If the other Bounto could keep up with her movements, the crimson clad Senshi of Fire landed on a branch of a small tree nearby.
