A small fiery creature flickered into existence in the center of the arena. It faced the challenger a with a slight twitch of it's fire tail it lunged in to slash with it's flame dagger. HP: 10

Rhett was ready for this challenge. He hoped to not only impress Solaris, but assure himself of his ability to protect his mate from any future dangers. He watched the small fiery figure appear, and misjudging its speed, took a fiery slash to his leg. The fox lashed out with a kick, not afraid of the fire as he sought to cause it damage in return. HP: 16

The small creature shifted and the kick went though the tip of his flame arm causing little damage. It lashed out with his tail like a whip at its fox foe. HP: 9

Rhett barely refrained from swearing as the little fiery thing avoided his kick, and he was lucky to spin away from that tail himself with no more than a slight singe to his fur. The fox lashed out with claws this time, still unafraid of the flaming foe. HP: 15

The creature crackled and hissed as the claws slashed through its flames. It jerked back and lashed out with flame tail once again. HP: 5

Rhett felt the claws strike solidly and grinned. He pulled his hand back, though not before getting a minor burn from the tail, and attempted another kick at the little fiery being. HP: 13

The small being darted to the side and the kick barely caught the edges of his flame body. With a crackling hiss it rushed hin and aimed to sink its dagger into his shoulder. HP: 4

Okay, Rhett really needed to stop trying to punt the thing. He whiffed again, but thankfully so did the small opponent -- as it leapt, the fox turned and simply attempted to smack it on the backside as it sailed by him. HP: 12

Again the blow barely clipped the fire creature's flames as it turned to lash out with it's dagger, hissing. HP: 3

Rhett missed, and got caught with the dagger again. Damn this thing was fast, and its small size was proving a problem. He lashed out with claws once more in frustration. HP: 9

The claws made contact as the small creature. It hissed and lashes out with its tail. HP: 1

Round 2At the center of the arena flames sparked up and formed a fiery version of the foxy challenger. It swished it's flame tail and beckoned Rhett to attack. HP: 20 Sinbari Your HP is reset to 20 Edit: xP Ignore the roll, you get the first strike this time.
