 It was hot. Sticky, disgusting, unpleasant hot. And a certain cream colored Turkish Angora was melting underneath her thick and full coat.
Lounging on the edge of one of the park fountains the Mauvian sighed, dipping her paw mildly into the fountain. Part of her wanted to swim, to wade her way into the cooler waters and escape the heat. She loved to swim so much, both as a cat and when she had the hands and feet to actually enjoy it. But then... with the lack of breeze.. once she got out she wouldn't dry quickly, no she'd just be a hot and soggy mess. And she couldn't stay in the fountain forever. Her tail flicked back and forth a few times in irritations, dual colored eyes staring a at the water.
Seriously.. the moment she saw a Captain or General she was going to have them whisk her back off to Negaspace. To the beautiful cool caverns. Maybe she'd hide down there until fall. She could find something to do down there and even if not well.. she could be productive in fall.Daffupanda I seriously had to contain myself. I only had about 5 title ideas, each more ridiculous than the next. XD)

Certain other feline parties apparently had little to no trouble with the idea of being a soggy mess in the future; Silos was all about instant gratification, and when the male cat spotted the fountain while jumping from tree to tree... he made his decision quite instantly.
Dropping from the treed he'd been climbing, the rather large ragdoll made a dash for the fountain, little pieces of jewelry dangling here and there. So preoccupied was he with the notion of water and blessed lower temperatures, that he originally... entirely missed the poor angora cat that was irritably lounging on the rim.
That is, until it was entirely too late.
As he jumped into the water (or rather, pretty much canon balled), and created a splash worthy a much larger animal... Silos realized he apparently had what was now a probably horribly drenched, irritable and upset female Mauvian audience, "Errr.... oops?" his sole good eye dragged over the other feline's body in appreciation, until it stopped on the dark colored star mark on her forehead. Any other cat might had paused and either attacked or possibly left the scene... but not Silos. He remain waddling almost comically within the fountain water, his long fur looking rather ridiculous as is floated spread around his body, "'Allo!" he chirped, offering the female a fanged smirk, "So, tell me, kitten. Why are you just sittin' there, lookin' all lonely and hot? Might as well take a dip!"
Iris_virus There's a tiny mistake with his cat art XD his right eye is closed with scars and... blind there. So just imagine that, kk? Art will apparently be fixed some time today!

Somewhere in the back of her mind she'd noticed the approaching mauvian aura and the jangle of jewelry. But she'd been too lost in her internal debate to really pay attention to it, noticing the blur far too late to dodge the wave of water that engulfed most of her.
If it weren't for the surprise it would have felt amazing really.. The cooler water, cooled even further by it's brief moments in the air, soaking down below all that fur to sooth her warm skin. But the surprise of it all was enough to draw her ears back, the little bit of skin between her shoulder blades trying to stick up even as the water weighed it down.
WHO or WHAT in the hell!?
Only when the 'who' came into sight did her expression soften, ears slowly, tentatively poking back up. Water was not often a friend to feline appearance, wet fur making them seem so much tinier and more pathetic than usual. But even through that she could appreciate what she saw. A muscular enough build, far larger than her lithe frame, and those scars.. Was he a scrapper? There was something appealing in that thought compared to many of the more effeminate Mauvians she'd met in the past. A bad boy even perhaps despite that golden star. The smirk only sealed the deal.
Her eyes narrowed at him, though it was pretty clear that her aggression had melted for the most part, replaced instead with a teasing tone, with just a hint of residual snark. "Well I was trying not to mess up my fur, but it seems as if that boat has sailed."
"So what are you going to do to make up for that big boy?" Her tail, heavy from being almost half way drenched, gave a distant swish back and forth.
