Katon D- Rank
• Katon: Tanebi no Jutsu (Fire Release: Cinder Technique) Rank: D Description: Basic to all Katon users is the ability to set thing things on fire, obviously. This technique allows a person to snap their fingers and ignite a spark anywhere they so wish. A simple cinder and no more, this jutsu is used mostly in pranks and the like.
B- Rank
• Katon: Go (Fire Release: Five) Rank: B Description: This is where the technique evolves into one of the most deadly techniques within the Leaf. This is the stage before Kaseiken, the only move of comparable strength to the Chidori within the Leaf’s arsenal. In this building block, however, the user mimics the hand movement and effect of Chidori, replacing lightning with flame. Here, unlike the techniques leading up to this, flames now spring forth from the user’s entire hand. If the user balls their hand into a fist, however, the flames immediately disperse and the jutsu is cancelled. In this way, only spear-handed attacks can be made and their potency is increased so that most defenses can now be pierced.
• Katon: Myaku Hitofuki no Jutsu (Fire Release: Pulse Blast Technique) Rank: B Description: An extremely useful jutsu, this one has the effect of flushing out or separating multiple opponents. Hurling a fireball about the size of a basketball, it is meant to be dodged in order to be effective. For at center of this fireball is a gaseous core which, when the spherical attack finally makes contact with something, will explode and this gas will expand rapidly in a loud bang. The bang is simply a precursor though, as instantly afterwards a sharp concussive force will issue out all around the center of the blast. Though the explosion of the attack itself is not very strong, the force it sends out is enough to knock anyone who is within a certain radius of it flying.
• Katon: Neshou Bunshin (Fire Release: Burning Clone) Rank: B Description: Welling chakra up, the user releases it into the air around them after a series of hand-seals. This creates clones of fire, disguised to look exactly like the user. The clones have the user’s stats. When destroyed, the clones burst into flame, capable of creating first degree burns and lighting clothing/leaves/paper/etc on fire.
• Katon • Horou no Jutsu (Fire Release • Fire Prison) Rank: B Description: A skill in which generates a circular flame upon the ground, raising up bars of flame and a covering over top. This intense flame heats all within it, preventing water from being created from the inside with the dryness of the air. Touching the sides results in various burns, and while this jutsu is used it ca be linked to any other fire jutsu and the jutsu will be fired at the person inside the prison.
Taijutsu Konohagakure no Taijutsu - Stage 4 Completed E-Rank
• Dainamikku-Entori [ Dynamic Entry ] Simple :: E-Ranked This is simply a flying jump kick straight at the enemy. Usually used to create an opening or as a surprise attack. • Dainamikku-Akushon [ Dynamic Action ] Simple :: E-Ranked The user will launch him/herself at the opponent and then use a barrage of strikes and kicks to confuse and damage the opponent. • Youjitsuba [ Spitting Toothpick ] Simple :: E-Ranked A Taijutsu technique where the ninja spits a toothpick out of their mouth. Attacking in this manner, while the enemy is normally focusing on the hands, provides a small element of surprise, but with much more effectiveness when used following a distraction.
D- Rank
• Asshou [ Pressure Palm ] Simple :: D-Ranked This is a Taijutsu technique where the ninja drives their fist into their opponent while they are on the ground, crushing and grinding them into the earth. With impressive strength, this technique could be quite devastating. • Fuuma Kage Shuriken no Jutsu [ Wind Shuriken Shadow Windmill ] Simple :: D-Ranked This attack uses a Fuuma Shuriken (a big, aerodynamically designed shuriken with curved blades). The user throws 2 shuriken at the opponent; however, one is hidden just beneath the first one, creating a perfect shadow. The opponent believes that only one shuriken is thrown, so after dodging it, the second shuriken appears from the blind spot, surprising the opponent, and possibly damaging him/her. • Haridoku [ Poison Needles ] Simple :: D-Ranked A Taijutsu technique involving several chutes strapped along the ninja's arm, loaded with poison-tipped needles attached to strings. The strings are tied to the loaders in the back of the chutes that house the needles, which the ninja draws back in attack. Upon release, the loaders shoot forward, snapping the strings and firing the needles at the ninja's enemy. • Requirements: Youjitsuba [ Spitting Toothpick ] • Harisuzu [ Bell Needles ] Simple :: D-Ranked A Taijutsu technique where the attacker attaches bells to needles to mislead the enemy into reacting to sound instead of movement. In this way, one or many needles with bells can be thrown, quickly followed by regular needles that would catch the opponent off guard when they react to the sound. Even if the bell needles miss, they cans till be used to mislead the enemy into reacting to sound by attaching strings to the bells, allowing the attacker to create the distraction of sound at any time during the fight, opening their opponent up for another attack. • Hayabusa Otoshi [ Peregrine Falcon Drop ] Simple :: D-Ranked The attacker grabs a falling opponent by their ankles, wraps his legs around their waist, and drives them head first into the ground. • Houshou [ Crushing Fist ] Simple :: D-Ranked A Taijutsu technique where the ninja palm strikes their enemy, hurling them away. With impressive strength, this technique could be quite devastating. This move is capable of knocking an opponent approximately 30-40 feet back. • Kage Buyou [ Leaf Shadow Dance ] Simple :: D-Ranked An attack which on its own does pretty much nothing yet can inflict great damage when in combination with other Jutsu. This Jutsu is an aerial set-up, meaning the enemy has to be in the air for it to fully function. Once in the air, the shinobi positions himself just below the opponent while in the air. Thus, the ninja becomes their opponent's shadow, leaving the opponent in a difficult situation to escape from a follow-up attack. • Konoha Senpuu [ Leaf Spinning Wind ] Simple :: D-Ranked This Taijutsu attack uses a combination of speed, strength, and the element of surprise. It is a perfect move to link up with other aerial attacks. For this Taijutsu, the ninja first disappears using a quick movement. The opponent, obviously, is totally confused. However, seconds later, the attacking shinobi appears just below their opponent, and by raising his dominant leg, kicks the enemy right on the chin. This would send the victim flying up into the air. The attacker can then proceed with an even more devastating follow-up attack. Leaf Spinning Wind is very hard to dodge, since the movement is so fast the opponent won't probably know about the attack until he gets kicked and is already high up in the air. Hard for any ninja of your rank to counter or dodge this move. • Konoha Daisenpuu [ Leaf Great Whirlwind ] Simple :: D-Ranked A powerful leap forward, using the extra momentum to perform a powerful spinning kick with both legs in mid air, the second kick often being aimed lower in case the intended planned ducks. The technique is most effective at ranges of 2-3 meters, because if you miss or they dodge, you have at least made it past your opponent and have a chance to react before they can mount a significant counter-attack. • Konoha Reppuu [ Leaf Violent Wind ] Simple :: D-Ranked This is a very simple, yet effective technique, which can be used for anybody who comes charging with a direct attack. Using his leg, the shinobi swipes the attacker's feet off the ground by moving his dominant leg across the opponent's feet, tripping him. This sends the opponent flying away from the defender in an awkward position, and probably smashing into another object such as a tree. • Shoushitsu [ Knee Strike ] Simple :: D-Ranked A Taijutsu technique where the ninja braces against the ground and drives a powerful knee into their enemy, hurling them away. With impressive strength, this technique can be devastating. • Tokken [ Tackle Charge ] Simple :: D-Ranked Description: A Taijutsu technique where the ninja shoulder charges their enemy, driving them away or even into something stable. With impressive strength, this technique can be quite devastating. • Tsutenkyaku [ Painful Sky Leg ] Simple :: D-Ranked This is basically just a kick down from the air, where the user (if gifted with an amazing amount of strength) uses their power to create an earthquake like effect and massive destruction to the surrounding area.
C- Rank
• Bunshin Kaiten Kakatou Otoshi [ Clone Spinning Heel Drop ] Complex :: C-Ranked Bunshin Kaiten Kakatou Otoshi is a taijutsu technique that can be truly devastating. The attacker first uses Kage Bunshin no Jutsu [Shadow Clone Technique] to create several clones. These clones and the user launch themselves into the air and begin to somersault. They then come spinning down, slamming their heels onto the target's shoulders and head. • Bunshin Taiatari [ Clone Body Blow ] Complex :: C-Ranked The user quickly creates a shadow clone above them, who dives at the target using a burst of chakra. Best used in combination with some kind of charging attack, this can sometimes be used to catch the opponent off-guard. • Hien [ Flying Swallow ] Complex :: C-Ranked Using chakra to extend the reach of the held blades, the user charges almost directly at their opponent with movements so swift it almost seems like they are flying. This usually results with a near-fatal blow across the chest to the target. • Konoha Gouriki Senpuu [ Leaf Herculean Whirlwind ] Simple :: C-Ranked A Taijutsu technique where the user spins with all of their strength and delivers a powerful, spinning, heel kick, blasting their opponent back. This kick can also be used to disarm an opponent since this kick is powerful enough to easily knock a weapon out of the opponent's hand. It is a much stronger version of the Konoha Daisenpuu [Leaf Great Whirlwind]. • Konoha Shofu [ Leaf Rising Wind ] Simple :: C-Ranked Using quickness and agility, the user will do a swift upwards kick at his opponent or at a weapon his opponent is wielding thus knocking it out of their hand or grip. • Midare Senbu [ Chaos Fan Dance ] Simple :: C-Ranked The user attacks the enemy with their fan, thus launching them into the air. They then throw their fan behind the enemy and disappear, reappearing behind the enemy. Finally, they grab the fan and strike the enemy headfirst into the ground. • Sakura Fubuki no Jutsu [ Cherry Blossom Blizzard Technique ] Simple :: C-Ranked The user hurls several kunai at their opponent, each with a small sack of miniature explosive tags attached. The opponent, while deflecting the kunai, will cause the sacks to break and scatter the tags on themselves and the area around them. The user merely has to throw another kunai with an explosive tag to ignite them, thus catching their opponent in an immense explosion. • Shishi Rendan [ Lion Combo ] Simple :: C-Ranked A Taijutsu technique following the Kage Konoha Buyou [Shadow Leaf Dance], putting both the ninja and their opponent in the air, giving the attacking ninja the advantage. Four separate blows are delivered: a roundhouse kick, followed by a powerful backhand blow, followed by a driving blow to propel them towards the ground faster, and finishing with a hard-hitting axe kick into the ground, reinforcing the blow. This technique puts a great deal of strain on the user's body, which is why it is concluded that it is not a technique one could come to rely on. • Shou-Geki-Shou [ Rising Impact Palm ] Simple :: C-Ranked A Taijutsu technique where the ninja lifts up their opponent with one arm, retracts, and then drives their palm upward into their opponent, hurling them into the air. With impressive strength, this technique could be quite devastating.
B- Rank
• Konoha Raiken [ Leaf Thunder Fist ] Simple / Complex :: B-Ranked The user will spin to gain momentum while in the air, and then lay a powerful strike into the opponent while falling. - User's chakra element can be applied, but then become [ Complex ]. • Isshi Resshin [ One-fingered Earthquake ] Simple :: B-Ranked A Taijutsu technique that only the strongest ninjas can accomplish. With just one finger, the ninja can merely tap the ground and create an enormous split in the earth before them. Of course, with this strength, one finger could do more to the enemy directly, but this incorporates physical power and range into an attack.
Premium Heart - Stage 4 Completed E-Rank
• One-Two Kick Simple :: E-Rank The user rushes the enemy and then kicks them twice with the same foot. First, the user kicks them in the chest, then they lower their foot slightly and kick them in the stomach, or the stomach and the head. Pretty much any combination works for this simple technique. • Ankle Snapper Simple :: E-Rank The user rushes the enemy and then thrusts the foot downward on top of the enemies ankle. If it is done with precision, the user could break the enemies ankle in this fashion and if not, there's always the chance that they will sprang the enemy's ankle.
D- Rank
• Somersault Complex :: D-Rank After rushing the enemy, the user will inject their legs with chakra before performing a powerful somersault. While doing the somersault, the user will strike the enemy in the chin with a powerful high-kick that, if high enough in strength, could send the enemy soaring downwards to the ground. • Stinging Kick Simple :: D-Rank After rushing to the enemy, the user will perform a high-kick aimed at the enemy's face. To spread out the damage from the attack across the face instead of one focused area, the user turns their heel so that the kick lands with the top of the foot (where your shoe-laces would be.) The damage would be spread out using this method instead of one focused area. • One-Two Punch Simple :: D-Rank The user rushes up to the enemy and strikes quickly with both hands aimed at the chest where both of the lungs would typically be. If the technique is successful, it would knock the air of an enemy causing them to be winded. If someone were wearing claws or weaponry on their hands when they did this, it would most probably puncture an enemy's lungs.
C- Rank
• Beat Rush Complex :: C-Rank The user infuses both of their arms with chakra before rushing up to the enemy. Once they're next to the enemy, they launch a blindingly fast flurry of punches. The chakra that's within their arms serves as an aid in pushing and pulling back after punching someone meaning that in a matter of seconds, the user could have delivered more punches then they could've without the help of the chakra in their arms. The chakra fades after a few seconds. • Pummel Rush Complex :: C-Rank The user infuses both of their legs with chakra and rushes up to the enemy much more quickly then they would've without chakra in their legs. They then begin to strike at the enemy with kicks from their legs. Since there is chakra in there legs, the user can quickly retract and push out with their legs again and again to deliver many more kicks than they would've without the chakra infused in the legs.
B- Rank
• Waterkick Complex :: B-Rank The user places a large amount of chakra into the leg that is their most dominant. They then rush up to the enemy and strike them with a tremendous force capable of making the enemy's bones break if done at the right place. The technique gets its name because it's most effects when incorporating suiton into the kick. A normal kick without Suiton element does as previously described. If the user has suiton, they can release the chakra upon impact, causing it to rush through the enemy's body can cause a temporary paralysis that leads to follow up attacks. • Flamepunch Complex :: B-Rank The user infuses their dominant arm with chakra and rushes up to the enemy's body. They then deliver a powerful punch that, upon contact, has the power to crush bones if delivered with enough force. If they user is of katon element, the technique can cause a searing burn to rush through the enemy's body causing them to break out in a sweat or, if they're weak to katon element, have them gasping for air. • Meteodrive Complex :: B-Rank The user infuses both their palms and legs with chakra. They then rush up to the enemy and push them with their palms which are infused with chakra. Once the push connects, the enemy will be paralyzed for a moment in which the user then picks up the enemy and leaps into the air. Since their legs are infused with chakra, they jump at least ten feet in the air. At the climax of the jump, the user slams the opponent downwards, causing them to slam into the ground. If the user has a strength over 6, they are capable of causing the enemy to shatter the ground below them due to the force behind the throw.
Training
• Perfect Balance Practice :: C-Rank The user has began to practice their own balancing when focusing on strike while only balancing on one leg. Because of all this practice, the user has developed their own personal sense of balance. As a result of this, if the user were to fall from a tree or anything else, they would always land on their feet. • Perfect Balance + Practice :: B-Rank The user is capable of now next to perfect balance. They can easily run on high-ropes, even doing somersaults and back-flips on a narrow beam while running alone without having to exert chakra to keep balance. They are also capable of running at least five feet up a wall before they need to exert chakra.
Bukijutsu Shunkan no Hagane - Stage 4 Completed E-Rank
• Basic Chop Simple :: E-Rank An overhead vertical strike meant as an offensive technique. Very basic, but it is a very powerful strike. • Forward Step Simple :: E-Rank A single step or series of steps forward, meant to add a great deal of power to offensive attacks. While it is quick, it is still one of the slower movements in the Style. • Backward Step Simple :: E-Rank A single step or series of steps backward, meant as an escape or evasion technique. While it is quick, it is still one of the slower movements of the style, and it is mostly used as a positioning technique. • Basic Stab Simple :: E-Rank The basic stab used in most blade styles. It is a plain forward thrust with the blade, meant to pierce skin and cause damage to the main body. • Basic Block Simple :: E-Rank The set of basic upper- and lower-blocks used with swords and other bladed weapons. It works best on the basic offensive chops and slices.
D- Rank
• Pivot Block Simple :: D-Rank The user pivots on the forward leg and deflects an incoming attack with their blade, setting them up for a highly effective counterattack. In addition, this movement sets the user up for a highly effective disarming technique, or even a throwing movement. • Forward Grind Simple :: D-Rank After blocking an incoming attack or after the opponent’s block, with the blade of choice, the user grinds his or her blade toward the opponent on the blocked weapon. This movement closes the distance between the user and the opponent while forcing the target’s weapon to remain still. • Deflection One Simple :: D-Rank In the early stages of an opponent’s Taijutsu or Kenjutsu attack, the user raises his or her blade and slightly alters the course of the incoming attack so that it misses, allowing for a quick counterattack by the user. • Disarming One Simple :: D-Rank The user aims for a point just beyond the focal point of the opponent’s weapon of choice, be it metal or flesh, and gently guides his or her blade to that point. After it has reached this point, the user redirects the weapon away from the opponent, causing it to slip out of the target’s grasp.
C- Rank
• Calligraphy Simple :: C-Rank A series of fine-point stabs and slices resembling calligraphy strokes. The wounds they inflict are shallow, but very painful and debilitating. • Extension Simple :: C-Rank A technique that relies on the user’s skill with blades being more than that of a normal person’s. By swinging firmly and quickly, the air around the user’s blade shears and sharpens; this makes an incredibly powerful attack that can strike slightly farther than the blade seems possible of reaching. In essence, this attack cuts a few inches farther than the blade can reach. • Thread Walking One Simple :: C-Rank Utilizing their new balance, the user can now walk on threads and wires without much difficulty and without chakra. • Solid Footing Simple :: C-Rank When on the ground the user becomes incredibly difficult to throw off of his or her footing, in or out of stance.
B- Rank
• Swordslinger Simple :: B-Rank The rapid changing and using of blades during a battle has become recently known as “swordslinging” within the martial world due to its resemblance to certain methods of using long-range weaponry. Within the Shunkan no Hagane style, however, this is a technique taken very seriously, and as such it is only given to those who have mastered the style up to this Stage and have experience using at least five weapons. The technique involves rapidly unsheathing, attacking, and sheathing weapons without pause, constantly changing mode and form of attack, and results in the user’s ability to use techniques without any extra physical cost. - Practiced with One-Handed Sword, Kunai, Polearm, Two-Handed Sword, and Chakram • Illusory Double Simple :: B-Rank A close range attack, the user goes for a direct stab at the opponent. By pulling the blade slightly back immediately afterward, the user can then strike another nearby point very shortly after the first strike. This technique is fast enough that those who are of the same rank as the user cannot see the second strike. • Sensory Information Simple :: B-Rank A passive technique that allows the user to judge the location of an incoming object or person, but not the direction it is moving in, based on sounds and disturbances made in the environment. • Twin Blade Simple :: B-Rank Due to the user’s strength, the air around the blade sharpens similar to the Extension technique. However, due to the user’s speed and proficiency with blades, the air blade hits after the actual blade with enough force to crack or shatter most blades. • Brush Stroke Simple :: B-Rank A series of quick cuts that eclipse the Calligraphy technique in both speed and depth, but are much more difficult to work with. The cuts now pierce all the way through muscles, and can cut in to bone. This technique can only be seen by people with a speed rank higher than the user’s own. • Hydra Strike Simple :: B-Rank An enhancement of the Twin Blade. Instead of only one additional strike, the user can now launch several in a row without any loss in speed or power. • Disarming Two Simple :: B-Rank The user aims for the point just beyond the focal point of the opponent’s weapon of choice, be it metal or flesh, and swings strongly for that point. Once the user’s blade connects, the opponent’s blade breaks in two and the hilt of the blade is sent flying. If the opponent holds on to his or her blade too strongly, the bone fingers in the hand(s) holding on to the hilt crack. • Deflection Two Simple :: B-Rank In the early stages of an opponent’s Taijutsu or Kenjutsu attack, the user raises his or her blade and alters the course of the incoming attack so that it is rendered useless, allowing for a quick counterattack by the user. • Advance of Steel Simple :: B-Rank A very quick forward movement that doubles the strength and effectiveness of all offensive and defensive techniques and makes them very difficult to dodge by anyone of the user’s speed rank or lower.

Hakyoku-ken no Kata - Stage 4 Completed E-Rank
• Ju Suto [ Heavy Smash ] Simple :: Rank E The practitioner lugs their massive weapon over their shoulder in a single slow, yet powerful, vertical strike. • Soin [ Sweep ] Simple :: Rank E The practitioner drags their weapon against the ground; by utilizing a quick pivot turn, the user performs a hasty radial slash. Because of the weapon, the inexperienced have a difficult time stopping themselves.
D- Rank
• Sasu [ Stab ] Simple :: Rank D By bringing the pommel of their weapon to their stomach, the user keeps their center of gravity low, and lunges out with both arms- performing a quick yet powerful poke. The inexperienced will likely stumble. • Houyou no Yochi [ Earth's Embrace ] Complex :: Rank D The practitioner slams his weapon into the ground, creating a one yard radial shock wave of chakra. Not meant to make contact on its own; this shock wave can make even the surest of footing crumble. Allowing for an easy follow through technique to a wobbling opponent.
C- Rank
• Saidai Shinpuku [ Upwards Swing ] Simple :: Rank C The practitioner places the tip of their weapon to the ground, then pulls upward with all the might they can muster. Although extremely powerful and rather swift, an inexperienced user is left open after performing the technique. • Hiki [ Saw ] Simple :: Rank C The practitioner takes their weapon into a single hand, rising the opposite arm to rest the majority of the weight. The user then performs a swift sidestep and attempts to hack at their opponent with a single hard rising vertical strike. Because of the balancing of the weapon against their arm, this technique is extremely fast and offers only a minor window of opportunity for the opponent as it ends. • Taikutsuna Sutoraiki [ Dull Blade ] Complex :: Rank C The practitioner entrusts their weapon with chakra and then performs an empty swing. When he sees fit, the user stops mid-swing, causing the chakra to fling off in a sharp snap. • Max range: 10 yards. • Nibui Sasu [ Blunt Stab ] Complex :: Rank C The practitioner entrusts their weapon with chakra and then performs an empty stab. When he sees fit, the user stops mid-stab, causing the chakra to fling off in a sharp snap. • Max range: 12 yards.
B- Rank
• Tetsu Rakka [ Iron Drop ] Simple :: Rank B The practitioner musters all their might, and with a hard kick, leaps high overhead. Rearranging their position, the user will then dive back down with their massive weapon ready to pierce through or crush their target. • Bakuyaku Ugoki [ Explosive Movement ] Complex :: Rank B A technique developed by shinobi in order to remove the weight burden of their weapon for a brief moment. By placing a hefty amount of chakra to their lower half, the user fortifies and strengthens their muscles- No longer will it feel as though they are lugging around a weapon that could easily be the same weight as they are. However, because of its mechanics, this technique is not meant to be used for long durations. The strengthening of the muscles allows the user to make a quick dash or leap in order to close great distances. Nothing more. • Hayai Ugoki [ Swift Movement ] Complex :: Rank B An alteration of [ Bakuyaku Ugoki ]. The practitioner applies the same method of chakra reinforcement, but rather than allow it to fade out in a single burst, they further mold the chakra in order to hold it in place. For a short amount of time, the user will able to move around as if they were completely free of their weapon or armor's weight burden. • Lasts [5] posts. • Nobi Ken [ Stretching Blade ] Complex :: Rank B As if the length of the practitioner's giant weapon wasn't long enough; this technique was developed to further increase the reach of such weapons. By pressing chakra to their pommel, the user manifests a skin over their weapon. This skin will stretch around the entire weapon granting an additional five or six inches of length in addition to added chakra damage. At any point during the duration of this technique, the user is able to cast off the chakra skin like a projectile slash. • Lasts [4] posts.
Fuu no Odachi - Stage 4 Completed E-Rank
• Pommel Bash Rank: E :: Simple Description: The practitioner delivers a very simplistic jab with the hilt of their weapon. • Heavy Slash Rank: E :: Simple Description: A simple yet powerful diagonal-downward slash. Considerable force is driven out by both the practitioner and the blade, causing the less experienced to almost always lose footing and composure.
D- Rank
• Stepping Horizon Rank: D :: Simple Description: After becoming more accustomed to gripping their weapon, the practitioner should learn how to make use of the range and power that their blade provides. Simple yet vital, this technique is somewhat similar to properly swinging a baseball bat. With their hands tightly wrapped around the grip of the sword, the practitioner steps forward with their non-dominant leg before delivering a swift horizontal slice. Depending on the practitioner's upper body strength, this may still send them off balance. • Falling Divide Rank: D :: Complex Description: The practitioner leaps at their target, weapon drawn overhead, and attempts to deliver a powerful falling slice. Although this technique is very unlikely to make direct contact with quicker targets, its amazing power for such a simple action is incredible. Not only that, but with proper augmentation of assisting techniques, the intended target could easily be held in place long enough to be cut in twain. • Coiling Steel Rank: D :: Complex Description: A unique style of technique commonly used to mix-up opponents. The practitioner will begin to perform an action at a rather slow, drawn-out pace, showing powerful focus. In an instant, a surge of chakra is pulsed through the arms in order to allow the practitioner to deliver an irregularly fast slice or stab.
C- Rank
• Pommel Break Rank: C :: Simple Description: The practitioner feints preparation for a strike with a large windup, but swiftly changes to land a strong jab with the butt of their weapon. • Comet Crash Rank: C :: Complex Description: The practitioner infuses their weapon with chakra before performing the same motions of the Falling Dive technique. The infused chakra is laced in such a way as to cause a form of energy-explosion when contact is made with a surface. However, doing so is a fragile art, and there is only a certain chance that the technique will hold. Should the infusion break before contact is made with a surface, it will erupt; causing a moderate amount of damage and blasting anyone in a small area, including the practitioner, away. ( Roll a six (6) sided die in the same post. Even, the technique holds. Odd, it erupts. ) • Churning Skewer Rank: C :: Complex Description: The practitioner imbues their blade with chakra before attempting to thrust forward in order to impale the target. If the thrust misses, the chakra is sent off roughly three yards in an attempt to catch the out-of-range target. Although at a greater range, this is a weaker form of the attack. If the target is successfully impaled, the chakra will spin outward, rending and rapturing the wound further.
B- Rank
• Iron Splitting Iron Rank: B :: Simple Description: The practitioner will attempt to deliver a powerful blow with the center of their blade to a structure that isn't properly supported or just flat out weak in construct. With appropriate distance and timing, this can almost always be used to deliver a lethal blow to the opponent or the opponent's weapon. ( Unnamed weapons are easily destroyed. For guild purposes, personal and unique weapons are not so simply broken. ) • Cross Divide Rank: B :: Complex Description: The practitioner concentrates chakra into their hands which slowly leaks to their weapon, creating an aura. The next three slashes made by the practitioner momentarily release counter-angled blades of chakra from the center of the weapon, resulting in the attack appearing in the form of a cross, or 'x'.
Training
• Two-Handed Finesse: Accustomization Rank: D :: Training Description: The practitioner experiments with the distance needed to properly grip and swing their weapon. Although it seems idiotically fundamental, this is an extremely important step towards becoming a seasoned great-swordsman. Finding proper handling allows the practitioner to swing their weapon with more accuracy and power, while creating as little opening as possible in their own defenses. • Two-Handed Finesse: Adjustability Rank: C :: Training Description: The practitioner should now have an understanding of some of the basic footwork of Fuu no Odachi, and is beginning to comprehend the necessity of strong steps in addition to strong attacks. However, these steps must be used in more ways than simple offenses. One cannot survive if all they can do is hope to keep their opponent at bay. This training is meant as a means for the practitioner to develop their own method of side-stepping and other such evasive maneuvers, while still swinging around their weapons. • Two-Handed Finesse: Dominance Rank: B :: Training Description: The practitioner has, at this point, become so involved with his/her training that they have not even realized how big a difference has developed since the first time they picked up their weapon. With a little bit of adaption, they will now be able to wield their weapon with one hand, and be capable of performing almost every technique within this style thusly. ( Unless the technique specifies the need for both hands. ) • Two-Handed Finesse: Expertise Rank: A :: Training Description: The practitioner will continue their efforts in one-handing weapons that are traditionally usable only with both hands. By again performing the techniques of Fuu no Odachi while using one hand, he/she should now realize that the power driven out as such is comparable to that of their previous two-handed state. From this point onward, the act of using both hands with their weapon is no longer a necessity, but a way to greatly increase the strength of their abilities. ( Unless the technique specifies the need for both hands. )
