Isabela had a lot to think about. Ever since she'd changed into this human hybrid thing that she was, her thief persona had grown and changed. It was a whole new game on dry land, and she was loving it. Still, there seemed to always be something to learn. Some way to improve her skills.
That was how she ended up at the ballet studio. She'd seen a few other 'artists' at work, and realized that if she could be as graceful as them, she would improve by so much! However, even though she was quick and sly, she was still a girl with a big shell on her back. Ballet was the answer.
She stood outside the window of the building, looking in with a few other gawkers as they watched the dancers within twirl and leap and float around with such grace and beauty...
It would make stealing and getting away so much easier if she could be like that...

Chloe was in a rush. Already the girl was panicking because she had overslept and now she was definitely late! How was I supposed to realize that my alarm was on silent? And that today the practice is in the main studio? Her cheeks felt warm as she rushed through the city streets. All she could do is hope that the madame wouldn't murder her for being late.
Thankfully it was just a normal practice day with the younger classes and not a major rehearsal. Sighing in relief as she spotted the familiar building Chloe nearly passed by another pokehuman. Then after a moment she paused with a hand on the door of the studio to look back over her shoulder. It was funny to see because once when she had been just a scatterbug that was her same position. Chloe couldn't help but to stare at the other girl in faint amusement.
Always looking in, but always afraid to venture inside.

Her mind had begun to wander. If she could move like that, she could dance circles around the cops trying to grab her. She could reach into someones pocket and spin away before the target could even turn to look. Isabela stared dreamily into the studio, not noticing that she was leaning in until her forehead thumped lightly against the glass.
That was when she noticed the teenager looking at her. She looked over at the teen, her eyes narrowing slowly. "What?" she asked in a rather miffed tone. The pretty teen was probably standing there laughing to herself about the girl with the clunky shell watching the dancers!

Chloe could only smile softly as she watched the other girl leaning into the glass, "You know I think my forehead is still imprinted on there as well." She commented as she came over despite the other one's miffed tone, "Are you hoping the glass will open up into a door for you? I hear actually going around to the front door helps out a lot." Or you know in my case get hit by a car so the Madame saves you... The memory still made her flush slightly.
"I'm going in that way myself and since I'm too late I'm sure I won't be with them." Chloe shrugged innocently, "But that's why I have a separate practice room that I can get into. I wouldn't mind if someone else would want to come in if they're interested and wanting to learn a bit."
That said the spewpa turned to gracefully glide away back towards the studio entrance.

Still.. what? Isabela looked at the glass with searching eyes before she realized what the teen meant. Cheeks heating up, she ducked her head and tapped a toe bashfully against the ground. If she tried to look cute enough, maybe they would- ...let her walk right in? She could do that?
Waiting for some metaphorical ball to drop, she waited for the door to shut after the other gal had entered. She'd really been just invited in? Walking over to the door, Isabela gave it the tiniest nudge, quite surprised to feel it open under the pressure. ...Well, of course they'd let her in! She needed to learn this stuff!
Walking in now as though she owned the place, she hurried after the spewpa girl. "You wanna teach me that stuff?" she asked, turning as she walked to look around the building.

At the question Chloe raised an eyebrow towards the girl, "Depends. Do you wanna learn?" The spewpa grinned teasingly, "I can teach ya a bit, but you have to be willing to go through a lot."
She turned through the hallway to enter another practice room. This one was slightly smaller than the others, but far more private. Lining the wall were mirrors with long bars going across them. "What do you think?"

Isabela snorted. "Wouldn'ta been lookin' if I didn't wanna learn," she stated with an 'obviously' sort of tone. What an odd teen! "What do I gotta go through?" she asked, wondering what the spewpa meant. Honestly, how hard could this be?!
As they entered the room though, she frowned at the sight. So many mirrors... she wasn't used to seeing so much of herself. Certain angles really made the shell look big on her back, and she began to doubt herself. How could she be graceful like this? No one else there had big shells hanging off of them... "I dunno if this is fer me," she muttered, suddenly self-conscious. She wasn't used to such a feeling, and it was quite a bother.

Chloe smiled in amusement at the other girl's reaction, "Well first you have to go by a trail of fire then you have to fast for five days straight..." She teased quietly. It was strange, but for some reason the girl was in a rare playful mood. It had been quite a while since she felt like this.
Sitting down on the floor Chloe shook her head at the girl, "Don't shoot yourself down until you've tried. If you have the determination you can do it. It might not be the same as others..." She shrugged at the sight of the shell, "But grace is grace no? Everyone has some surely inside of them."
She patted the floor next to her, "Now come here and stretch with me."

Isabela snorted and crossed her arms stubbornly. A trial of fire, indeed! She would do no such thing!
When the teen encouraged rather than agreed, Isabela softened a little bit. Well, that was a nice change. Grace is grace? ...Was that really true? She wasn't sure she believed that... but she knew where determination could get her!
Nodding, she walked over and plunked herself down next to the spewpa, legs out in front of her. Thinking about her running stretches, she leaned forward to touch her toes. "Like this?"

As the girl sat next to her Chloe nodded, "Yep. Gotta do several of those then I'll get you used to the bar." She pointed towards the long metal ones that circled the room, "It's actually pretty fun, but you might feel it in your legs tomorrow."
As she stretched Chloe blinked, "I'm Chloe by the way." She smiled, "I live nearby so I'm usually here a couple of days a week. If you like this after a while we could meet up some?" A rare offer, but she truly felt for the other pokehuman. It was really reminiscent of herself from a time ago.

Looking over at the teen, Isabela pursed her lips. She was determined to show how strong she was!
"Chloe... I'm... Izzy." Well, she could use a new name while she was at this new place. Here, she was going to be someone else. Someone who really wanted to dance.
This would be interesting.
