Once the angel was pushed off from Heaven and the demon was shot up from Hell, they both collided. This caused an explosion, and this shows that angels and demons can't be relied on to not crash into each other.
This was a very crucial start in order to watch over the humans. Angels watched over humans who have sinned many times and have realized that the world has become. Once those sinful folks have created enough chaos in their life by their own, they are sent to Hell if necessary. Hikari, a demon, and Niro, an angel had been pushed off specifically.
Yes, these two who were sent to the human world and caused the crater were none other than Hikari Yuno and Niro Brantley.
They both have died in the 1990s, but have lived on watching others from above and below. Hikari, however, never cared, and only wished for one thing: his dirty, rotten, big sister to die already. She was fifty-three and had killed him from her psychotic disorder (which she killed him when she was thirty two).
It was payback for how many times he tortured her in advance, but he still hoped to see her in hell so he can make her suffer more than he did when he was alive, but for now...
They both, Hikari and Niro, had to act like humans. This wasn't a good start. The angel looked up from the crater, watching the people crowd around the crater with terrified looks on their faces. Niro's wings fluttered and he averted his eyes back towards Hikari, who was groaning and pulled Niro down with him to the ground.
The look of displeasure was on both of their faces as they stared directly at each other, sending each other looks of disgusts and glowers as they both stood from their place without any help. Angels and Demons hated each other, of course, but Hikari hated Niro for a completely different reason, along with Niro hating Hikari.

xxxHer day was going as it did every day. She woke up, showered and dressed. Her usual outfit was a sleek, black pencil skirt and a light pink blouse with ruffles. Her shoes were black flats, and her makeup was light. Her brown hair was pulled back into a low ponytail, and she'd left her small apartment with a skip in her step. On her way to work, as per usual, she had received a text from her boss asking for coffee. She made her way to the coffee shop, placing her order and carrying the bundles in her arms. As she stepped out of the coffee shop, Adarsa's phone began to chime. She bit her lip, fumbling with the drinks and food until they were in one arm and answering her phone. Of course, it was her boss. "Adarsa, where are you? I have a meeting in ten, and I need my coffee. Hurry up." And the call was disconnected. She gave a heavy sigh and stowed her phone back in her purse.

xxxHer walk to work was a slow one on most mornings, but she was doing her best to be quick this certain morning. But her morning commute was stalled when the ground seemed to explode. It came from nowhere, really. But the light was blinding, and the noise was deafening. The breakfast fell from her arms, and she covered her ears, eyes closed. After another moment, however, it was over. Adarsa lifted her head and rose from her squatted position, her mouth open wide and eyes wider. Being one of the closest people to the now-present crater in the middle of the street, she hesitantly advanced towards it. People were already crowded around the edge of the crater, peering inside of it. The brunette could make out two human forms within it. With wide eyes, she gasped softly. There's no way two people could have survived such an explosion.

xxxAdarsa slid down into the crater, coughing softly as all the dust began to settle around her. She moved towards the figures, settling down in a squat near them. She thought she'd seen a pair of wings on one of them, but she threw the thought from her mind. Must've been a trick of the light. She tucked a stray lock of hair away from her face, beginning to speak softly. "Hello? Are you two alright? Do I need to call for help?" she asked them, reaching out to gently touch each shoulder. As the dust continued to settle, she could make out more features. A head of dark hair and a head of blonde hair. Male figures. She bit her lip, removing her hands from their bodies. There was no way they could have survived that. But, at the same time... They definitely weren't dead.
