Located just outside the city, the location is private, allowed only to those who have the clearance to enter. Numerous projects are managed here, most of which are classified to the public, though they have publicly shared that the anti-matter converter, genetically-engineered plants, and the hydroponic technology. They rarely allow reporters, but there are occasions when they’ll release information to the public.
Monica walked into the research facility and went to the office the message told her to go. It was one of the head executives, so naturally, there was a secretary sitting in front of the door. She told the woman that she was just called and to informed the executive that she was there. She waited patiently to be called into the office.
After a few minutes, someone finally opened the door to the office and smiled at her. “Good afternoon. I’m glad you were able to arrive so soon. Please, follow me, and I’ll explain along the way.” He looked to be in his thirties, neat hair, glasses, dressed like the sophisticated folks who spent their days on the organization’s many projects. Naturally he appreciated that she happened to take the time to head all the way out of the city to that particular location. Like he said, he’d speak as they were walking. “You see, we’re in need of someone with your array of skills in determining the output of our prototype. We’ve been working on a device for quite some time now, but, like many things, we need to make sure it’ll work as intended—at least theoretically, of course. You are familiar with the idea of geographic augmentation for converting unsustainable sustainable, yes?” He was being relatively vague, but that was nothing new. Information was often very specific to those who worked on it, lest their ideas get leaked.

I apologize for the lack of imagery. He’s unimportant, at least for now.
Monica nodded and followed the man. She did not know him very well since he mostly dealt with certain projects. This was the first time she was asked to work on one of his exclusive projects. She was still pretty young in a scientist perspective, and due to the fact that she graduated early, she probably was the youngest scientist that would be on this project. "Yes, I have looked at the theory and the calculations, but I have not had the chance to see it in action." She replied.

That is all right. It is still a pretty good post. =3
“Well, if you’d be willing to join us on this project, you just might. I know that this may be on short notice, but I assure you that we’ll make it worth your while. What do you say?” He hadn’t even formally introduced himself yet, but with good reason. While vague snippets of information about the project were brought about the organization to attract workers, it was still a very classified project, including its team members. How he spoke about the prototype implied that it was finished and they simply needed someone like her to make sure their calculations were appropriate before they could test it.
Monica thought for a second before she spoke again. She did not really gave it much thought. She dreamed of working on such a project since she was in graduate school. "I am willing to join the project." She said with a polite smile, confident that she would not regret this decision.
