[.07-19-2015] Officially opened my quest thread for comment or critiquing! [.04-29-2015] Decided to set up a quest thread after the flatsale ended so I had a place to organize all of my ideas, and accept comment or critiquing on my quest thread. [.04-01-2015] I entered my first Lab 305 flatsale, and surprisingly I made it to round three, but lost, so I have made some slight adjustments.

[ Fel Essence : Dehydrated Dewdrop ]
Found after the storm on a cactus spine, the dehydrated dewdrop maintains its form when it is touched. Upon contact with the dewdrop the surface will remain dry, but if the surface is wet, it will absorb the moisture and use it as nourishment. From time to time, the dewdrop will start to bounce here and there sporadically as if it was alive. However, the dewdrop will cease to bounce when a human approaches it.

[ Soul : Cactus Cat ]
A mythical creature from the American Southwest, the Cactus Cat is said to look like a bobcat, but is covered in hair-like thorns, with even longer spines coming from the legs, and has an armored branching tail. It is said, that the creature will use its spines to slash cacti at night allowing the juice to run from the plants. On a later night the fearsome creature was said to return to drink the now fermented juice. The then-drunken creature was said to shriek repeatedly through the night.

NAME : Gina Green GENDER : Female AGE : 30 OCCUPATION : Wildlife Rehabilitator RACE : Human LIKES : Art, Being Outdoors, Nature, Tea, Wildlife DISLIKES : Coffee, Eating Meat, Loud Music, Rainy Days, The City LOOKS : Gina has always been a voluptuous woman with bronzed skin and a glowing complexion. Standing at 5’5” and weighing 105 pounds, she has piercing blue eyes and long strawberry blond hair that she wears in a fishtail braid. However, her appearance is especially deceiving as she is a tomboy who enjoys wearing comfortable clothing, and is prone to stealing clothing from her boyfriends’ closets from time to time. The one item that Gina cannot live without is her sunglasses, which she usually wears atop her head when not outside.
PERSONALITY : With an outgoing personality, Gina is friendly, socially confident, and has a large circle of friends. She tends to daydream frequently, which can cause her to miss out on entire conversations; or trip over her own feet. Gina also has a tendency to prattle on when deep in conversation, but most don’t mind as her mesmerizing voice and contagious laugh captivates others.
One particular trait that people take advantage of is Gina’s kindness. Gina will help anyone in need no matter their circumstance if compelled to do so, usually without limitation. She also was gifted with a beautiful singing voice, but she hides her talent as she is afraid of failure. However, when Gina is drunk and her composure diminished, her best friend Axel Halkias can usually get her onstage at a local bar for karaoke!
Gina also has a very sensitive side and is a hopeless romantic. Criticism, even from trusted friends, can upset her, and a romantic book or an emotional movie can make her cry uncontrollably. Gina also takes pride in her job as a wildlife rehabilitator, and wouldn't want to be anywhere else!
HISTORY : When Gina was born her parents lived amidst the clouds in a city highrise. Gina loved the city life, until the day she went to summer camp for the first time and had a taste of the countryside! She immediately fell in love and, upon returning home, went into a yearlong depression until her parent’s decided to move to the country. After the move, Gina’s mood changed quickly, and she started to enjoy the perks of living in the country. The outdoors became everything to her, and she learned as much as she could on her own until she went to college. When she graduated Gina was contacted to work at one of the largest wildlife rehabilitators in her area, and readily accepted the job.
Now a woman well versed in rehabilitation of animals especially wildlife, Gina is a sight to behold riding her trusted steed Nabila around the wildlife preserve where she works. Gina found Nabila abandoned and severely maimed at a homestead not far from the preserve, and took care of her day and night for a month even sleeping in her stall, until she recovered. When Gina has a day off she can be found working her homestead with her boyfriend Cole Foster, or reading a book underneath the big oak tree in her backyard with Nabila and Nolan.
PETS : Nabila is Gina’s four year old female black Arabian horse with a scarred front hoof. She also has a two year old male blue mottled Cattle Dog named Nolan.

[ Thorne ]
NAME : Thorne GENDER : Male DOB : May 8th ALIGNMENT : Chaotic Neutral POST COLOR : #5C755E LIKES : Freedom, Independence, Puzzles DISLIKES : Control, Regulations, Rules PERSONALITY : As Thorne’s name suggests he has a prickly personality! He values his independence a lot and likes to do things on his own, refusing help even if he needs it. Though Thorne refuses help, he likes to offer help to those who he perceives as weaker than him. In conversations he can be self assertive by being blunt, and will voice his disagreements. However, what people often don’t realize is that Thorne is actually protective of those that call him friend; he just needs some time to get to know them. He dislikes bullies and won’t hesitate to come to the aid of someone in need. Thorne has a good heart and cares about the welfare of other individuals, believing in their goodness. He wholeheartedly believes in having freedom and dislikes anything that may infringe upon it. This causes him to be dismissive of rules and regulations, as he believes everyone should make their own decisions in life.
Thorne can also be a bit unpredictable, especially when it comes to controlling his anger. This means he can either become dismissive of people, or lash out at them when he is distraught. Although Thorne has difficulty expressing himself properly, he is still utterly brilliant. He has a good memory, is good at problem solving, and likes to keep himself well versed.
POWERS :
[.01] PIERCING SPINE : When Thorne is overly emotional, his hair becomes erect like that of felines when they are scared. These hairs then harden to create cactus like spines. When Thorne grows, he will be able to control this power more successfully, and the power will evolve. Once Thorne becomes a Sigel, he will be able to discharge his spines at will at an enemy. (Passive)
[.02] ABSORPTION : Upon contact with a wet surface, Thorne’s skin will automatically absorb the moisture and transfer it to his own dehydrated skin. This effect will only last a day however, and then Thorn’s skin will become dehydrated again, and he will have to repeat the process. (Active)
FOOD SOURCE :
[.01] WATER : Water, is Thorne’s main source of nourishment which he must absorb frequently. If Thorne does not stay hydrated, his skin will become severely parched within a day’s time.
