Hobbies: Arcade Games - Kasih has found she's a big fan of arcade games; especially fighting games, pinball, retro stuff like Pac-man and Galaga, DDR, and ParaPara. Although she'll happily do an arcade run by herself, she's happiest when playing with or against friends. And she does it for FUN. She's not interested in the high score.
Roleplaying Games - Of the tabletop variety. She picked it up thanks to the advice her former self left her, and she's found she likes the activity. Her favorite systems to play in are fantasies and things with a supernatural twist...like D&D, World of Darkness, Dawnfire, etc. She's just fine with playing whatever class the party needs, but prefers being the in-your-face classes, like a monk or fighter.
Dancing - Be it bopping around her room to whatever's blasting on her radio to playing DDR to cutting the rug at a school dance, Kasih still loves moving with the music. It also isn't a strange sight to see her with headphones on, shimmying her way down the sidewalk to and from school. Kasih is a fan of fast-paced music to dance to, something that'll get her heart racing and her blood pumping. She doesn't take any dance lessons, so her dancing is more of the spontaneous sort that combines a little bit from other sources, such as belly dancing and music videos. And though she'll dance alone, she LOVES dragging her friends into it with her!
Capoeira - Remembered through her Powered use of it, muscle memory, and getting back into a class for it, capoeira is not just Kasih's preferred way of fighting; it's her meditation, her calm-down, her exercise. She practices every day at least a little, and jogs every other day to keep improving her endurance.
Virtues:People Person - Fear of people? What's that? Kasih is one of those people who is at home in a crowd, happily chattering away or playing games with friends and strangers alike. She's the first of her group to welcome a new person with a smile and a bright 'hello', and has no feelings of awkwardness when speaking with a person (or in front of a group) she doesn't know. This lack of fear has extended to more than just socialization, too. If someone looks like they need help, she'll give it without having to be asked, and if there's someone looking down in the dumps, she'll offer them a tissue and a friendly ear. This lack of fear HAS gotten her into trouble before when she was Chiku: people snapping at her because they found her annoying, one case where someone snagged her wallet, and a few friends who thought she didn't spend enough time at a party with them instead of the people she'd just met. But she doesn't let those get her down; she just gets back up and keeps going with life.
Loyal - Though Kasih is the sort to end up with many friends, only a few count among her 'inner circle'. And for them, she would do quite a lot. She will stand beside them when things get tough, and is always willing to lend a hand (even if she may whine about it)...unless she's unable to lend a hand. Then she'll try and figure out how to make up for it. If her loyalty was torn between two or more people, however...it's very likely she'll go with who she trusts the most, even if she's known them for a shorter period of time. She also won't give up her morals for a person. As to how far she'd go, exactly...she likely won't ever torture or kill someone. Or rob a bank.
Quick-thinking - Kasih is far more intelligent than people give her credit for. She may have trouble paying attention or staying on task, but that doesn't mean she's stupid. Quite the opposite. Though it requires getting her attention, she is a quick study to things she either finds interesting, or that can be useful to her. And she can take those facts and bits of information and use them in a rather tactical manner. So far, it's only really shined in roleplaying and online games, but it could possibly be used for more...
Flaws:Short Attention Span - For all her intelligence, Kasih has a VERY short attention span. Her mind tends to run a mile a minute, and she is very easily distracted by anything that looks interesting or, quite literally, the occasional shiny object. She does try her best to stay on track, and has reminders and notices all over her room, computer screen, her phone, and the fridge in the kitchen. She doesn't mind people helping keep her on track with reminders, either. She IS capable of focus...it just requires being able to KEEP her attention.
Bullheaded - Kasih is not the sort to give up on a way of thinking easily. Oh sure, she's fine bouncing around, making friends, changing battle plans around to fit the situation. But when it comes to
her and how she views the world? Good luck getting her to change her mind. If she got a bad first and second impression of you, it's gonna stick unless you do something spectacular to change it. She's gotten it in her head to do something? She's gonna try her damnedest, exhaust every option, and probably linger on it for a bit trying to think of even more that she could try.
Emotional Little Dragon - Kasih doesn't feel in moderation. When she's happy, she's exubreatenly so. When she's sad, it's very obvious and she makes no attempt to hide it. And when she's angry, she's very explosive and sharp-tongued, sometimes violent in one way or another. Often times, she'll tire others out simply with the sheer strength of her emotions, or she'll get on their nerves with her lack of filter or off switch.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Kasih is what could be termed as 'cute'. The "I'm full of energy and pep" cute, not the "I'm delicate like a doll" cute. She stands at 5' even, with darker skin of a medium ochre tone.
Eyes: A bright lime green. Almond shaped, and expressive.
Hair: Mid-back length, generally kept loose or in a braid with her bangs just barely hanging in her eyes. The tresses are a light khaki/sand-ish color with light brown streaks running through it.
Face: Kasih has a heart-shaped face that looks like it was made for smiling. Her nose is a little bit broader and flatter, from her African heritage, and she tends to wear shiny lipgloss...the clear short that just gives her lips a shine and some protection from the elements.
Clothes: Kasih tends to wear clothes she can easily move around in, and in bright and pastel colors. She doesn't differentiate between 'girly' and 'boyish' colors, just 'this is CUTE!...can I dance in it?'. She avoids high heels normally, and prefers sneakers and tennis shoes and sandals. When she does wear heels, they're the chunkier kind.
