Watching the minute hand, frozen solid not moving. Still we believe we can but we're afraid of losing. Watching from over here, it's hardly worth competing. I'm almost out of here, why break a heart thats beating? Just as I start giving up, I'm not backing up. Run into the light, get out of your own way. Not afraid to fight, believing what you say. I'll hold on 'til the night. Hanging by a thread and not scared to let go, thoughts inside your head that creep up to get you. I believe this is right, so I'll hold on 'til the night. When she finished off her last human for the night, she decided to wander around the city before the sun rose. "I've never been here before," she murmured to herself as she felt herself cross into a different vampires territory. "Just my luck," she groaned when she was immediately surrounded by five relatively young vampires. "What business do you have here?" One of them interrogated as she cocked her head to the side slightly. "Now I don't think that's any of your business," she said sweetly as she stabbed her hand into his chest and pulled out his heart, tossing it to the ground unfazed. The girl turned to look at the others slowly, using her speed to quickly dispatch of all of the vampires before briskly walking back towards her territory. "I hope that was all of them," she muttered as she ran a hand through her hair worriedly. •·.·´¯`·.·• •·.·´¯`·.·•´•·.·´¯`·.·• •·.·´¯`·.·•´ 'Cause inside I know I should cry, I should scream, and get down on my knees. Daniel was walking down the long corridor of his family's humble abode, well as humble as it could get with one of the richest families on the eastern coast. His dress shoes clicking against the stone floor as he walked to the family room. The tall dark haired man was dressed in black slacks, black dress shoes, and of course a black silk dress shirt but the sleeves were rolled up to show off the muscles he had in his arms. Daniel was making his way to the family room because his father had called him into it. Once he reached the huge archway, he walked straight inside, "Father, what have you called me here for?" His father spoke in hushed tones, but with him talking you could tell that he was powerful just within in his hushed voice. "Something has happened on the outer lines of our territory. Five of our guards were just mysteriously missing hearts." Daniel raised an eyebrow, "Do you think it was the other family?" His father, Michael nodded his head. "Their daughter had a tendency to wander and it can almost cost her life if she doesn't watch out next time." The dark haired twenty year old, nodded his head. "I'll go check it out once I feed." And as that was said, Daniel turned on the heel.of his shiny shoes and made his way to his room to grab a fresh bag of blood. Once it was downed in a matter of a couple of seconds, Daniel made his way to where the other vampires were killed.

On her way back to her territory, she caught a fresh scent and veered off of her path to follow it. The girl skipped down the alleyway excitedly as her prey came into view. It was a woman who looked like she was in her mid twenties that was leaning against a wall with a cigarette between her lips. "Excuse me ma'am, can you help me with something?" She asked as she stopped in front of her with a sweet smile gracing her lips. "You see, I have a small problem," she murmured as she elongated her fangs, hissing at the woman slightly. When the woman started to scream, she rolled her eyes and bit her hard, sucking her dry in a few short minutes. •·.·´¯`·.·• •·.·´¯`·.·•´•·.·´¯`·.·• •·.·´¯`·.·•´ 'Cause inside I know I should cry, I should scream, and get down on my knees. Daniel was following the scent of a vampire that he knew was most definitely not part of hos family. He followed the scent for a good three minutes, until he heard a scream about five miles ahead of him. The dark haired male took off at the fast speed that vampires have but stopped right outside an alley where the scream had came from. He saw a tiny dark haired female sucking the life out of an innocent women. Within milliseconds, Daniel grabbed the female vampire by her neck and slammed her against the brick wall causing a few to shatter as he did so. With a hiss, Daniel looked at the small female. "What the hell are you doing on this side of town? You know damn well you're not supposed to be here. I should kill you and I just might." The law between these two families that is absolute, is that if one person from either family crosses into the other, the punishment is automatic death. Daniel stared her down, his grip tightening around her neck. "And to top it off, you killed five of our guards and have royally pissed off my father. So explain yourself."

"I accidentally wandered into your territory and your guards would've killed me for my mistake... so I took care of them. It doesn't help that I'm very easily distracted, on my way out of your territory, I caught her scent and I was hungry." She gritted out as she struggled out of his hold, delicately dusting herself off as she took a slow step away from him. "Besides, my father would kill you if you ever attempted to take me out," she taunted as she brushed her hair out of her face so that she could glare at him slightly. "Let me guess, you don't drink fresh. I can smell the bagged blood on you," she said as she scrunched her nose in disgust at the scent. •·.·´¯`·.·• •·.·´¯`·.·•´•·.·´¯`·.·• •·.·´¯`·.·•´ 'Cause inside I know I should cry, I should scream, and get down on my knees.
