 Two youma. It was strange to find them working in pairs. Usually you had one.. or a whole hoard of them placed by Negaverse agents. Well.. unless it was something new that had been happening in her absence from Destiny City? Polaris wasn't sure, but regardless, she had been tracking the two across the city for almost half an hour. Everytime she got close they'd somehow weasel away and she'd lose them again.
Maybe they were actually running from her. Could they read strength in power levels like the humans could? Or maybe they were just doing what youma usually did, searching for starseeds and energy. If it was the later then they had finally found their jackpot.
Hopping from rooftop to rooftop Polaris finally spotted the pair from above, and it was easy to tell that they were following the sound of voices nearby. From her position she could see the source too. An outdoor cafe, with almost a dozen people relaxing outside, enjoying late night drinks and snacks while listening to a man sing and strum at a guitar. Her jaw clenched in thought.
She needed to stop them before they got to the people. But her attacks were so loud... And potentially dangerous considering the collateral damage they often caused. Her eternal attack would work but... she could only target one and that left one youma free. She needed to stop them while being subtle. Without any of those innocent people getting involved...
Powering up to her Princess stage was always risky. The aura was a beacon that could be felt from so far away. But hopefully... hopefully she could just whip down there, dust the youma, and then head in the other direction. That way if something did follow and try to find her... it would be far far away from the cafe.
With a flash of light Polaris' eternal fuku was engulfed and replaced by a breezy dress, her angelic wings spreading as she jumped off the roof, gliding until she landed, thankfully in front of the youma. Finger tips touching her forehead her tiara appeared in her hand and with a flick of the wrist one of the two youma burst into dust. A final dust that lingered as the youma remained destroyed, never to return to the Rift or the streets again.

 Hyperborea had felt the aura of two youma and an etarnal moving her direction. This confused her, she had never seen two youma working together. Sure she had seen whole packs of them released at Ploutonion's corruption, but that was different, officers had released them. Hyperborea had never heard of multiple youma roaming the city together.
Normally she'd let an eternal handle a youma on their own, afterall they were stronger than her and could probably take care of themselves. However since there was a second one, she figured a little help wouldn't hurt.
So she ran through the alleyways till she found where the auras had come to a stop. She recognized the area. And if her memory was right there was a late night outdoor cafe nearby. Which meant her magic was out of the question the last thing she needed was people coming to investigate an explosion of silver light.
She touched her ring and was enveloped by the silvery sheen of her aspect. She ran out into the street to help when she saw the eternal senshi be enveloped by a flash of light.
Her aura was replaced with the crushing aura of a royal senshi. Her outfit was replaced with a beautiful dress and angelic wings. She flew down to the street. She took off her tiara and threw it at one the youma, turning it to dust.
Hyperborea was mesmerized. But she shook her head. She should help, even if a princess didn't need the help she was already there and she didn't want to look worthless in front of someone like that. Besides Hyperborea didn't know if she could do that tiara attack more than once. She tackled the remaining youma away from the princess. She wrestled it to the ground.

Polaris hadn't expected to see someone else, but that did not mean she wasn't eternally grateful for her luck and to the squire when she appeared. It made things so much easier, so much less stressful.
In the back of her mind her senses tingled, giving her a nonstop list of the metallic items in her vicinity, ammo she could use if necessary. But most of it would be loud, even if she just picked it up and swung it herself. And now, thanks to the squire, she had the luxury of time. Should she just grab something to stab it with? While the other girl held it down? Maybe it was better to just get rid of this one.. especially considering the troubling behavior the pair had been showing earlier.
She tried to hurry while the other girl tussled with the monster, her eyes kept shifting from between her hands to the knight to make sure she was okay. After a long moment the tiara appeared above her hand again and she aimed it at the remaining youma.
"Thanks for that, it was really helpful." The princess piped cheerfully, her heels clicking softly on the asphalt, as she braced the distance. Her eyes were searching the other girl for signs of injury, hand held out in an offer to help her up. "Are you alright?"

Hyperborea saw out of the corner of her eye that the princess had her tiara ready to attack again so she broke away from the youma she had been grappling with to give her a clear shot. Once the youma was dusted she took the offered hand.
Back on her feet she had a bright smile, she was truly happy she could be of some use to a princess. "Merci, yeah I'm fine." She did have a few cuts and bruises but nothing serious and she could tend to them when she went back to her dorm.
"Um it's an honor to meet you, your highness. Or is it your majesty? Sorry I've never really meet a Senshi Royal, I'm not sure whats the appropriate way to address you." She said blushing as she curtsied. "I'm Hyperborea of Cosmos."

The tiara attack, luckily, had no effect on the forces of Order. So even had it hit Hyperborea it wouldn't have done anything other than perhaps bounce off of her. It as just one of the strange magical properties that Polaris did not understand, but was infinitely grateful for.
Polaris' eyes lingered over the cuts momentarily, but when the other girl stated she was fine she accepted that with an acknowledging nod.
When the young knight went into her polite introductions however, the princess melted with her adorableness. "Oh no no no! Polaris is perfectly fine." She laughed, trying to wave away the royalty idea with her hand. "Noone really calls me any of those names. Except my boyfriend when he's being goofy or Negaverse agents when they're being sarcastic..."
"Just Sailor Polaris, senshi of magnetism." Except as much as she insisted otherwise there she was, with wings and a suffocating aura.
Recalling her plan to get away from the cafe, she pointed mildly in the other direction while taking a step in that direction, as if trying to silently request that the knight follow along. "Were you patrolling in this area Hyperborea? Or did I just luck out that you happened to be around?" Though Polaris liked to hop around there were plenty of senshi and knights who only stuck around the same few neighborhoods.

Hyperborea's cheeks went pink. "Oh ok, sorry. Then it's a pleasure to meet you Polaris." She tried to laugh off her faux pas.
Hyperborea got the hint and started following the princess away from the cafe. "Well I was patrolling but you could also say it was luck that I was here tonight since I try vary up my patrol routes each night. What about you, I could feel that you were following those two" She gestured behind her to where the youma had been. "but were you on patrol as well?"
"So your the senshi of magnetism. Does that mean you can attract metal?" She asked.
"What's being a princess like? I mean like you can even fly that must be the most amazing experience." This was a rare experience and she was very curious about senshi royals.

"Don't worry about it." She mused, trying to push away any embarassed feelings the other girl might have. "There aren't very many of us running around after all, and I'm not sure how the others feel about titles." Castor would like prefer to be called something special. His ego had always been pretty huge. And Iris.. well the last time Polaris had spoken with her she'd gotten the distinct impression that the senshi of rainbows didn't power up unless it was totally necessary.
The princess nodded, her heavy braids swaying with the motion. "Yeah, I was patrolling too. I'd headed to the east side of the city for tonight but when I noticed those two youma together I couldn't help but try and track them down. I'd never really seen them do that before."
"My powers are actually pretty cool." She mused. "I'm one of the lucky ones with an actual offensive attack." Some senshi really lucked out with their powers and knights had it rougher then even senshi a lot of the time in her opinion. But she was pretty thrilled with her attacks and she was happy to oblige in the details.
"I can attract metal to an enemy like... imagine everything metal within 10 or so feet of you suddenly flying at you." It could also be used far more accurately then that.. more deadly then that given the correct debris.
"Or I can actually attract people to each other. So imagine you're all the way across the street over there. If I wanted to I could attract the two of us and stick us together for a minute or so." Her hands slapped together as if to illustrate.
"And the power of the Polarian crystal can do kind of the opposite. I can take a room full of people and make it so that everyone is oppositely attracted, so noone can get near each other. That one came in handy when the bad guys ambushed one of our meetings..."
The next question brought another look of amusement to her face. Ahhh she remembered the days she was younger and more enthusiastic. Deep down she was still hungry for answers really.. she just was less certain of where to find those answers.
Her wings gave a little bit of a flap, as she talked about them, the crystals making a soft sound. "I can't really fly unfortunately. But they're good for gliding down from high places. In a pinch I might be able to hover for a few seconds after a jump too."
"But I also have that neat tiara attack that you saw. And.. basically a metal radar." Her hand made a sweeping motion above her head. "I can feel it all in the back of my head. A trash can over there, some screws over here, and cars, the cars are always so loud."
"And the best thing of all is the crystal. It doesn't just attack you see. But, if someone from the other side really wants to, I can help them too. Purify the chaos out of their hearts and bring them over to our sides. That's the best. I wish I had the opportunity to do that more."
But that hadn't been exactly what she'd asked, and Polaris realized that she had been babbling for kind of a long time. Stopping, now that there was some distance between them and the cafe, she looked towards the sky thoughtfully. Not what could she do, but what was she like?
"You feel stronger. You have so much more power then you used to. But mostly I just feel responsible. Like I should be able to do so much more with all this extra power. Like I need to shoulder as much of the weight as I can. But in the end it hasn't been enough yet..."
"I guess I just have to try my best and hope one day it will be enough." A soft frown as she thought out loud, but when her eyes turned to Hyperborea again she managed a small smile.
"What's it like being a knight? Strangely enough I don't ever think I've asked my boyfriend that question."

Hyperborea smiled. "I guess that makes sense, Camelot has never used any titles around me. So do you know how many of you senshi Royals there are, Camelot said he was the only royal knight right now but it sounds like there are more princes and princesses?"
Hyperborea nodded. "I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that was strange. I've never seen just two of them. It's usually just one or a hoard released by an officer right." She thought for a bit. "Maybe they were close when they were human and the instinct to work together stuck with them." That was a sad thought, she shook it away. The last thing she need was for her to depress herself. Though that did beg the question, how much of their human selves remained in a youma, could they be taught not to kill if they were freed from the negaverse's influence.
Hyperborea listened intently as Polaris explained her powers. "Wow, your magic is really awesome." It sounded like she was really useful to have in a battle. "I.....imagine that would hurt." She said imagining what would happen if all the metal in 10 feet suddenly came flying at her.
A part of her wanted to touch the wings when they flapped a little making the crystals on them jingle a bit but she reminded herself that she wasn't a child and she could look with her eye. "Interesting, still it must be an amazing feeling gliding through the air. All I can do is jump high."
"That's incredible. So do you detect metal all the time or is it something you can turn on and off?" She wondered if other senshi princes and princesses had similar abilities.
She figured since Polaris had explained her abilities it was only fair if she did the same. "My magic is a crowd control type." She summoned her bow and pulled back the string making the arrow of silver starlight appear. "When I fire this arrow it explodes into continous explosion of bright light, sort of like a flash bang that lasts for like a minute."
She dispelled the bow and touched her ring activating her aspect, being enveloped by a silvery sheen of starlight. "And my aspect makes my touch painful and acidic to beings corrupted by chaos but" And she took the princess hand to demonstrate it's other effect. "It makes my touch heavenly and warm to beings of order." She released the princess's hand and deactivated her aspect.
"What I wouldn't give to be a royal knight, it must be so fulfilling to be able to burn away someone's chaos corruption." She thought about the corrupted red and blue senshi, and Ploutonion. She wished she had the power to bring them back to the side of order.
She pondered the older senshi's question. "Hmm well I would assume its different from knight to knight, but for me I feel a desire to protect everyone around me. I feel like I was granted these powers for a reason, that the code saw in me something that could help in the war. Which is why it hurts all the more when I fail in my knightly duties." Hyperborea answered honestly a small frown etching itself on her features. She quickly hide the frown though.
"So your boyfriend's a knight, what order is he apart of or what is his wonder, if you don't mind me asking."

"Perhaps. Or maybe it was a fluke and they just happened to be attracted to the same target at earlier this evening?" While there were some that tried to humanize the youma Polaris found herself feeling quite the opposite. She certainly knew that they had one been humans, some were the knights ancestors even. But that was just sad, nothing more. Poor unfortunate souls.. turned into something terrible. Something that roamed the nights mindlessly. They hadn't chose that life. In fact.. to Polaris the act of dusting youma was a gift. Releasing the ancient souls from a fate they'd never chosen, one that likely went against everything the person had once stood for. She knew if it was her.. if she was the one turned to a youma.. death would be a godsend.
"How many..." She thought over the question for a moment, lifting her hand to count off each name on her fingertips. "I personally know of Chronos, Castor, Iris, and myself. There was Chibimoon too.. but.. I don't know that anyone knows where she is anymore. And then there is the Dark Mirror Princess Ares." There was a bit of bite in her voice as the last name sounded.
"There may be more than that. Or some of those may not be around anymore, but those are the ones I've personally seen or met in my years of being a senshi."
It wouldn't have been the first time someone had touched her wings, her princess wings OR her tiny eternal 'wings'. And she wouldn't have minded if the girl had tried. She herself felt the urge to touch the other girl when her skin began to sparkle and glow softly, but luckily for Polaris Hyperborea touched her hand first. The sensation was strange.. but nice. Warm.. it was very warm and comforting.
"The metal sensing happens all the time when I'm in this Princess form. Its really helpful but.. it can actually be kind of overwhelming and loud from time to time."
"It seems like you have a pretty good handle on your powers." Polaris commented. There were so many that struggled, it was really refreshing to see someone that had really settled into the task, kind of like she had all those years ago. "You may be a royal knight one day you know... If you do your duties you never know." They weren't just empty words. As the princess looked over the tiny Cosmos knight she couldn't help but notice her drive. The intentions that seemed as pure and beautiful as her sparkling white dress. "The day might come that your wonder gives you the power to rise up." She mused thoughtfully.
The final question brought a smile to her eyes as she thought of her knight, her best friend. "Niflhel is a Saturn knight. But even in his past life he spent way more time then he should have on Polaris."

"Yeah your probably right." She let the issue drop. She figured if anyone knew what they were talking about with this war it would be a royal.
There was also her princess, but Hyperborea didn't feel the need to correct Polaris on that. "So prince Castor, is he really as cruel as people make him out to be. I heard that he likes to kill negaverse agents just to make a point, but I've only seen him in battle once and never spoken to him so I don't want to judge him before I've really meet him. But if its true...I don't know I get killing might be necessary but shouldn't a royal's first object be bringing agents back into order." The mention of the senshi prince had reminded Hyperborea of Glitnir's warning.
The mention of the dark mirror princess also got Hyperborea's attention. "So what is the Dark Mirror, I've heard of them before but I've never met one of their members. Are they like the Negaverse?"
"I owe alot of that to my ancestor Theseus. When I became a squire I....I ran away to wonder and trained with him for three days and I've been going back every two weeks since. He taught me alot about my powers and how to be a better fighter." She didn't feel the need to explain the reason she ran away, the princess hadn't asked for her life story afterall, and she didn't want to seem like she was looking for pity.
She blushed again, although this time she felt good. "Tha...Thanks that means alot coming from you." and she meant that too, hearing that people like her or camelot saw potential in her made her more confident after all these people had been great enough to be made royalty by the forces that be so they must have a good eye for things like that. She hoped one day she could prove them right.
"Niflhel, I don't think I've ever met him, what's he like? I've only met one other Saturn knight....though he's gone now." She said with an honest sadness and regret for Ploutonion.

She regarded the idea with one final thought, and a flourish of her finger. "We'll just have to keep our eyes open I guess. Sometimes research is as helpful as actually battling stuff."
While it made sense that there was a Princess of the Cosmos, along with Princesses for all the planets, Polaris had never actually seen any of those legendary royals. And the memories she had of any of them from the past were still very minimal and unexplored. But when Hyperborea asked about Castor her expression changed to one of confusion, brows furrowing. "Cruel...?"
Well sure.. he'd been always been really relentless in his teasing back in the day. She supposed it was kind of cruel how far he'd poke and prod with his teasing and harassing. But it hadn't been with ill intentions. He was just a stupid, rude, oversexualized boy.
"That... doesn't sound like the Castor I remember at all.." Her voice had softened a little. Obviously she'd missed something if he'd changed.. that much.. "Brash, egotistical, completely lacking in the ability to be serious. Yes. But I've never known him as cruel."
As the girl expanded on what she had heard about them Polaris nodded softly, further cementing the idea in her head that she needed to find the Prince of Hail again at some point. "Like I said.. he was always brash.. I would hope that he isn't running around killing people willy nilly but.."
"I don't entirely disagree with a strong stance. Certainly, it's a blessing when we can save someone and bring them back to the light. But the point remains that if someone doesn't want to change then there is nothing that can be done about it. We can't force them to purify like it's possible to force someone to corrupt." Her words were slowing down, as if she wasn't sure she wanted to say them, knowing full well that many didn't agree with her point of view.
But in the end she was being honest, and it wasn't like Polaris to back down. "While there are some agents of Chaos out there with good in their heart there are just as many, or more, who are too far gone or have no interest in returning. They let monsters go without regard to the damage they'll cause. They go through the streets killing people.. treating innocent people like cattle that they can just siphon energy from whenever they like with no regard. And when you're put in a situation.. where you have the opportunity to stop one of them from hurting someone else.. when you can get them off the streets so that they can never hurt another innocent person again. Taking them out isn't the most unreasonable option."
Polaris had noticed the shift awhile back, though she was oblivious to how much stronger the movement had become in her absence. To purify everyone, not kill anyone. It was a beautiful ideal. Something she wished could work and be true. But deep down in her heart the princess of magnetism didn't believe it was the answer. Too many suffered while they played games trying to purify those that had no intentions. She would purify anyone and everyone that came to her, most certainly. But at the end of the day some needed to die. And even if noone else had the strength to do it she would shoulder the weight of the task. She would take the blood on her hands so that those who could not would not have to. It was a promise she made to herself a long time ago.
Uncertain how the Cosmos knight would react, Polaris was quiet for a moment, as if waiting to see if the other girl would get angry. Or immediately choose to run off. Her fingers fussed with the fur stole around her arms. In case the girl didn't leave though, she finally began talking again.
"The Dark Mirrors are kind of strange.. I'm not really an expert on them by any means. I mean... I know Ares used to be a regular senshi. She was part of a very aggressive team. They were effective but.. they went too far. I know at one point they kidnapped and tortured some Negaverse agents."
"Eventually Ares went crazy.. and she took a handful of our allies with her. Through a mirror somehow... I'm not surprised you don't know much about them. They seem mostly interested in turning regular senshi to their side. I don't think they have any uses for knights...?"
It wasn't much useful information, and she frowned apologetically at that. But her expression soften, her mood beginning to lighten again at the mention of Niflhel. Her hand was placed lightly on Hyperborea's shoulder, having noted the subtle tone in her voice, it was her own subtle form of comfort.
"Well let's see.."
"He can be a little on the grumpy side. Well.. blunt is more like it, maybe a little stuffy. But when you get past that he's really kind and wonderful. Even before he ever powered up he was putting himself in danger to protect people. He umm.... oh!" The realization hit her and she summoned her cellphone between her hands, lighting the screen before turning it to the other girl. The background image was Niflhel, looking mildly annoyed that Polaris was being dumb and taking pictures of him and Snowball too being an adorably fluffy photobomber. "That's Niflhel and Snowball."
"That's great that your ancestor has helped you so much. It's so easy to feel lost in this city and in this war... But Niflhel and I just see glimpses of our past lives when we visits our homes. Which is interesting... but more like a puzzle then directly helpful."

Hyperborea listened intently as Polaris explained her philosophy on killing negaverse agents. When she was finished Hyperborea just shook her head.
"I just don't know. I wish I could feel strongly one way or the other. On the one hand I don't think killing is right but at the same time I know some agents are too far gone. My heart breaks every time I think of their victims, both powered and civilian." She said tears starting to form in her eyes thinking of all the innocents who died because the negaverse, from the victims of Painite she'd found to her own parents.
"I just wish, everyone could be happy and safe. I know that impossible and it's childish to wish for but I can't help it. I hate the negaverse more than anything I can think of but the agents themselves, I can't help but see all the innocent ones who are forced to take part in evil."
"I don't know, I guess I have to find my resolve about this but it's just so... complicated." She said trying to find her words as she wiped the tears from her eyes.
"So do you think they're evil like the negaverse. I don't understand what they want." She said the topic shifting to the dark mirror.
"I hope I get to meet him. And is that your mauvian?" She asked looking at the pictures.
"Yeah though in a way I also kind of envy you guys. Sure Theseus can tell me about the rainbow cherry blossoms that bloomed in spring or how the streets were always filled with music but I can't experience Hyperborea how it once was like you guys can, even if only briefly."
"Speaking of which, what's Polaris like? Your planet I mean."

"I've been a senshi for six years." She stated matter of factly. Though she didn't know exactly how long the knight had been powered up she found it hard to believe it was anywhere near that long. For almost one third of her life she had been a senshi, that was such a weird thought.
Noticing the tears, Polaris leaned forward, wrapping her arms around the other girl, before continuing on softly. "What I mean is.. things like this are complicated. Very little is ever completely black and white and it's perfectly okay if you don't know how you feel entirely. It's okay to be uncertain. It's even okay to change your mind. There is no right or wrong answer, you just have to go forward and figure out what works for you. And there isn't any rush to get there."
Her arms loosened a little, in case the other girl wanted to escape the unsolicited hug, but she didn't let go entirely. "Really in some ways it'd be nice if people were a little more.. open about their opinions these days. Maybe we could gather together and work together if it didn't always dissolve into everyone bickering about how their way was the only way and they refused to work with people who thought this or that."
Finally stepping back, she pursed her lips thoughtfully at the question. "Well.. I know they corrupt people against their will.. And they have smokey monsters that drain energy as well... So while I haven't seen any that are quite as scary as the Negaverse.. they're still doing things that aren't good."
"Yeah, Snowball is my Guardian. He's really really great, he did such a good job looking over my knights and Niflhel while I was gone. And he's not a bad snuggle partner." She joked, grinning a little.
"I'd never thought of it that way.." She said in response to the past life conversation.
And at the question about her star she looked up, searching the sky for a moment before pointing to the North star. It was nice to have a star that was always there and visable, comforting even. "Polaris is covered in snow and mountains. The cities are mixtures of antique stone work and more modern metal. It's all very beautiful, but it can also be kind of silent and harsh too. I really need to go and fix it up more so that's it's possible to stay there for days at a time..." Maybe she'd learn more about everything if she weren't too busy shivering to death after a few hours.

"Wow six years." She said a bit awed by how experienced the older senshi girl was, she had been around longer than even Babylon. It was no wonder a veteran like her was made princess. Then a thought struck her. "If you've been around that long do you know anything about an Elysion or Helios?" The mystery of that place had stuck with her ever since quail's eye brought it up.
When the princess wrapped her arms around her in a hug she didn't resist. The feeling was nice, she was warm and kind like Camelot. She returned the hug, she couldn't resist she was just a huggy type of person. "Merci." She said softly and was genuinely thankful for the princess' kind words and actions.
"I agree, even if people disagree I think order would be a lot stronger if we worked together to find a common solution. At the very least I wish there was a better safety network, it seems like so many knights and senshi get lost out here. So many never make it home and no one even realizes they're gone. I know Blackwatch is trying to fix that but it just doesn't seem like its enough. " She said, it was something she had had on her mind recently. How many senshi or knights go though something like she went though but don't have someone like Camelot there to bring them back from the edge, how many are left alone to die at the hands of people like Painite with no help to call on. It was something that had to change if they were ever going to turn the tide in this war.
"Hmm so bad but perhaps not as bad as the negaverse. I wonder if they could be talked into only taking willing corruptions could they maybe be an ally." She said as Polaris explained the Dark Mirror a bit more, forced corruptions were bad as was energy draining but they were problems that could be worked around with the right diplomacy. The only question is could they be turned against the negaverse, it would seem like a powerful chaos fighting chaos but was it even a possibility.
"I would love to have a guardian cat, they're so cute and helpful. Does Snowball help you in missions, like can he hide your royal aura?" Then a thought struck her this woman had knights, it made sense after all senshi royalty were connected to the knights so it would make sense each prince or princess had their own order of knights but her brain hadn't made the connection until now. "So what are your knights like? I don't think I've ever meet a knight of Polaris."
"Well the grass is always greener as they say. But I know I have special privileges that someone without an ancestor doesn't have, such as a teacher in the old ways of knights. Well at least in the ways of Hyperborean knights I wouldn't assume he could speak to all the various traditions of ancient knights."
"Your planet sounds beautiful, though I can understand how harsh the silence can be. If not for my ancestor my wonder would feel so big and lonely. I personally would like to believe once the war is over, someday the planets and wonders can be repopulated and the silence that fell at the fall of the silver millennium will be lifted." She realized how intense that probably sounded, since her failed attempt to introduce Verona to knighthood she had been trying to make her discussions of this stuff more down to earth. She wasn't sure she was making much progress. "Sorry its just planets and wonders are a passion of mine." She said with a laugh and a blush.
"My wonder a city floating in the middle of three purple suns. Its architecture is a very Grecian, and all the materials are mainly stone, marble, gold, and silver. Oh and every thing is giant, because they were giant stone people." She figured it was only fair to talk about her wonder as well, plus she enjoyed bragging about her wonder. "And under the city is a shifting labyrinth that hides treasures from supposedly a god, the first knight of Hyperborea Apollon."

"Yeah.. it can get a little frusterating sometimes to put in that much time and energy.. and still feel like you're just running in place. Like we aren't even really making a dent in Chaos.. just.. barely being able to keep it from getting worse." She sighed, but it was one of those ones that was followed by a shrug. It was something she'd certainly thought and moped over plenty of times now. But she didn't really feel like moping tonight.
"Elysion? Yeah I went there years and years ago... And Helios, well.. Sailor Pegasus, she went to Crystal Academy with me. We weren't super great friends or anything but I knew her a bit. I'm not sure I can be of much help but.. what exactly are you wanting to know about it?"
Listening to the squire's comments, she nodded here or there in agreement. "Well if you ever need me feel free to send me a message. At the moment it's the best we can do. Mentor the newer knights and senshi and make lots of friends and connections."
"Talking to the Dark Mirror senshi would probably be the best way to gauge whether they could become allies. You'd just have to be very cautious going about it."
"Snowball actually does a lot of work on his own. But we patrol together sometimes. I've never thought of trying to see if he could dampen my aura though. That's a great idea, we'll have to try it sometime."
"So far I know about three Polaris knights." She regarded the thought with a fond smile. "Sutai, Delphi, and Whisler. They all look quite a bit like me. Warm clothing, colors like my.." She paused, suddenly realizing what she was wearing. And with a poof of light the wings and dress were gone, leaving behind an ordinary eternal senshi. "Colors like theses, and crystals like in my hair. All three of them seem pretty different. I really can't wait to get to know them better, or to see if there are even more of them out there.
"Your wonder sounds beautiful and very exotic. Getting to learn about the old way of knights sounds pretty exciting. I've learned a little bit about how Polaris was run.. for instance we exported metal ore that was mined from the mountains. And unsurprisingly there was a lot of technology based around magnets. But one of things that I find more interesting is that there was a whole other group on Polaris whose job seemed to be sort of like.. anthropologists.. Just watching all the other worlds and keeping records."
"Repopulation?" There was surprise in her voice, her lips pursing as she seemed to think about it. She had never ever thought about leaving earth.. or who would want to leave earth to live elsewhere. But that didn't mean it was a weird thought. "I think it would be really wonderful to see our homeworlds alive again. I'm not sure how you would go about fixing them, but it would be really wonderful to see them flourish and to return to what I hear was a peaceful time thousands of years ago."
