Shikatsu was raised by a nice family, at least, that's what they seemed like. Inwardly, they despised their child and hated everything about the Village Hidden Among the Stones. One day, they left without a word, leaving their boy alone with no one to look after him. He was six years old when they left him. After about a year of living on his own, Shikatsu met someone, an older girl who befriended him immediately. She provided him with food and water and occasionally clothing until about two years after being his friend. When he was nine years old and had known Amira and her parents for the two years, they had formally invited the young Nara to their household, on the condition that he become a hard worker and eventually a Shinobi to protect the farm and family. Agreeing eagerly, Shikatsu became a part of the Amane family.
For the next 3 years, he trained at the academy during those years, helping out on the farm after school. After training for so long, the boy passed the tests at the academy and excelled in most of his studies. He would've graduated earlier if not for his lack of motivation. He had been punished several times for being lazy, despite his good grades. Bored with doing classes over, he finally passed his classes and became a Shinobi. He now sets off to Iwagakure to receive his headband and begin his training in earnest.
