Hadaya was having a really good week. Not only had he managed to find a guardian angel that protected him from getting run over, but he had two safe places were he could stay and sleep and even live if he wanted to. The Darrows were very kind, but his mind was always on Navi, and he missed her almost constantly.
He hoped she was doing okay right now, for example.
Tonight, though, it was still early, and not yet dark enough for the usual folks out on patrol to come out. He was out exploring, and his little legs had taken him pretty far from the area where Kyndall had taken him. He was now in a more business oriented part of town, and there were quite a few shop fronts that still had their doors open and their lights on.
His tummy rumbled as a nice smell met his nose, and he wandered in its direction. There was probably a food store around here, somewhere.
Soon enough he spotted the source of the smell: a market that sported fresh fish. That was a smell he could pick out regardless of what else was going on. Oh what he wouldn't do to get some nice fish! Hopping up on to a trash can out in front of the store, he hoped to be noticed by someone passing by and be given a snack. Unfortunately, he was used to the bins with lids on them, and this one only had a lip and a big hole in the middle.
He bounced up and fell right in.
There was definitely no fish he wanted to eat in here.

Sheena was coming upon the shop, not once of the ones she frequented most, but one she swung by every so often. She was approaching when she saw other cat jump onto the trashcan and subsequently fall in. She sighed shaking her head before running over the can and jumping up onto the edge of it. She looked down to spot what was apparently another mauvian.
"Get of out there," she said with a sort of what are you doing look on her face, "quickly before you get trashed dumped on you."
She eyed him curiously, "what were you thinking silly?"

Hadaya looked up, immediately terribly embarrassed at having been spotted falling into the trash can. And by another mauvian to boot! Of course, that was just his luck.
He nodded sheepishly and leaped back up, scrambling his way up as he caught the edge of the circle and nearly fell back in to the garbage. He managed to pull himself up, though, and sat down for a moment, taking a breath and gathering himself.
"Uh. I was... uhm... I'm sorry. I just... uh... I didn't think anyone was... I thought there was a lid on this thing."
He cleared his throat, ears drooping. If he had a tail, it probably would have been drooping submissively, but without one he just kept his body low. He did not notice, but he had a discarded candy wrapper on his head.

Sheena was wide eyed at the other's almost unsuccessful attempt to get out of the trash can, she almost made to help him, but it seemed he'd gotten it eventually. She sighed when he seemed to pout with his whole body and reached out to flick the wrapper off his head.
"Don't worry about it, it happens. I think you should remember that a lot of trash cans right outside a business aren't going to have a lid. They want to make sure people use them. Unfortunately a lot of people with use the ground otherwise. It's really dumb."
She gave him a big mauvian smile. "I havent seen you around headquarters! Are you new or am I just out of the loop." Not that she could possibly be any such thing, she provided herself her awesomeness.
She looked over to the shop and sighed, "we should get down and out of the way if we are going to chat."

"Yeah I... I'll have to remember that."
He sighed, looking defeated by the night, which was not an uncommon feeling for him.
"Headquarters? Uh. Well, I am new here, but I'm doing my best! I've already met a nice family and a senshi who saved me from a truck." He also fell off of a library, but he would leave that part out, considering she had just seen him fall into a trash can and would probably start wondering what was wrong with him.
Really bad luck and absolutely no coordination, mostly.
Nodding his head, though, he moved to hop down from the trash can, padding toward a nearby alley. No one would notice the two english speaking cats down there, at least.
