Hunahpu shook his head, letting out a frustrated noise. He lifted a claw, before dropping his head to the ground to stare toward a plant. He’d been observing it for a few days… and it was time to move on. He lifted his head, wings folding against his back and his tail flicking lightly behind him. If he could find someplace… He moved forward and then just blindly walked. Let his claws guide him. Maybe he’d be able to find something to interest him for today, or something that he could focus on. If that was the case, he would be able to clear his head and think fully. Maybe the walk would help him.
It was then that Hunahpu thought he heard something. The large stallion stopped in his tracks, head snapped up and ears swiveling curiously this way and that. He could have sworn that he heard something… Heard something. He took a half step forward, cautious and calm. Maybe it was her… maybe his mom was actually there, waiting and ready to strike. He grit his jaw some and flicked his ears back, glaring around the room. He had to be careful. If she was going to attack him, then he needed to be on par. He shifted slowly forward and slipped carefully toward where he heard the noise. If he moved carefully, he would be able to sneak up on her in return. He walked carefully, and paused when there was a break in the trees, considering turning back and going back to his temple. But he needed to… He needed to move forward and figure out what that noise was. So, he took a small step forward, and slipped into the open to look around and find out where the noise had come from.
