Discuss what you're most excited for in Fallout 4. Will you go out and explore new locations in post-apocalyptic Boston, or gun down innocent civilians right from the start with the new selection of weapons? I feel like I'm missing a few things, so feel free to point them out and I'll add them to the poll.

✝Lucy✝ I was playing borderlands 2 last night and I am really hoping the combat in fallout for is going to be similar, it was a big problem in three and a smaller but still big problem in NV, I wanna feel like an actual person. ✝The blood is beautiful, if you think about it✝

That would be cool. I still need to play Borderlands.. I have the game, and I've played some, but I couldn't really get into it as I had no one to play with. The combat is nice, though. *^*

I'm looking forward to the power armor customization and all its glory. I'm also looking forward to the cross platform modding that they say will be available for the game.

LeaderOfTheFallen I'm looking forward to the power armor customization and all its glory. I'm also looking forward to the cross platform modding that they say will be available for the game. I haven't seen much information about the power armor customization, but I'm sure it'll be cool. I would love to be able to modify the arms and have a minigun for a hand or wrist-mounted Flamers.

Darling, darling... There's really nothing about this game that doesn't look utterly fascinating. But if you put a plasma rifle to my head and made me choose: base building. I'm absolutely smitten with the idea of creating and running my own energy grid, as dorky as that sounds. Scarlett could tell you all about my affinity for building in game and being able to customize for optimal efficiency. 'Cause I'm weird like that.
Plus- if you were out on the wasteland, you'd have to adapt, scavenge and create permanent structures to live in. Sustainability, sweetheart. I heard rumblings of a randomized weather system in the game. You won't want to be caught outside during a radiation storm. wink I feel it's going to lend a sense of realism to it. Same with the weapon modding. I'm pretty stoked for that, too.
Not that I'll play it in a timely manner. Scar's going to be the very first to get her hands on it. I'd call this sharing system rubbish if I didn't know I wasn't going to have an absolute blast watching her play it. smile

While there is a lot of things that have caught my attention (Customization of weapons, power armour, etc) I'm going to have to say that base-building is my favourite thing thus far. I personally love making maps, whether it be Halo's forge mode, Everquest II's house creation or Skyrim's creation kit, I just love being able to build a location from the ground up. I can't even recall how many hours I put into making sure that every tiny little bit of my maps was in the perfect place.

It's nice to see more votes for base-building. I've always like the idea of building and owning multiple estates in games, like a wealthy businessman. No matter where I wander in the wasteland, I'll always have a home. *^*

Lacus Clyne San I really like how were able to run your own caravan! heart I'm going to stock mine up with Teddy Bears and Jet. I'll call it the Hugs n' Drugs Caravan Company! Pre-war times should be fun. I hope there will be a decent-sized area to explore before the bombs fall. Also, nice signature! I hope Fallout 4 includes Vault 69, because I'm immature! But on a serious note, I did enjoy exploring all the old, abandoned vaults in the other games, especially the one with all the 'Gary' clones. Yes! That is going to be awesome!! Now I'm having trouble deciding on what to name my character. The possibilities are endless!

I think it would be interesting to take part in the pre-war world. I always liked the retro 1950s feeling.

Panzerfaust99 I think it would be interesting to take part in the pre-war world. I always liked the retro 1950s feeling. I'm not sure how much of the pre-war era Fallout 4 is going to feature, but I think it'd be neat to be able to go back and visit it whenever we please, possibly via a virtual reality terminal or something. I also wouldn't mind seeing Bethesda tackle specifically that era in a separate game or an expansion.
