She was growing more and more restless as the days went by. Planning ways for her to help the Black Watch. Planning another trip to her homeworld. Planning patrols and projects and...
Hyakutake stopped on a rooftop, shaking her head. Everything was so chaotic. People she cared about were in the same situation as herself. Her mother was getting more insistent that she come home. Matt and Yuki were starting to side-eye her. Something was odd with Abby. And then the giant youma...That thing had shaken her a bit, and resolved her intent to be the best senshi she could be. With great power comes great responsibility, right? She intended to live up to that particular responsibility.
Looking down at the nearby roof two stories down, she grinned. And took a running jump.
Okay, so the boost to her physical abilities that enabled more awesome parkouring might have also helped. And the rush that came with the leap made her oblivious to the larger Order aura nearby.

For a change, Glitnir was on the roofs instead of the ground. For some reason, he just kept forgetting to check around on the roofs except for when he absolutely needed to, or when he wanted to get somewhere quickly. This time, he thought he could feel a small Order aura somewhere above, and so went to the roofs to investigate. Sure enough, there was a basic senshi jumping down onto the same roof that he was on. "Hey, wait up!" he called out, taking a few steps back to make sure she wouldn't land on him or anything like that.

The girl yelped a bit and stumbled as she landed, rolling forward in a somersault before getting up and staring at the newcomer in surprise. "Oh! Uh..." Welp. She hadn't been expecting company. Waving, Hyakutake gave the other a sheepish smile. "Hello! You're a new face." Not that she knew many faces yet. Though at least it was easy to tell he was a knight! No senshi she'd seen yet had clothing like that.

"Hi there," Glitnir said. "Sorry for ruining your landing. I remember, when I did my first big jump, I landed flat on my face in front of the guy I was trying to get to." Sarras had not hidden that he was amused by that failure. "What are you up to? Patrolling? Practicing jumping? Looking for something?" It seemed that everyone had a different objective when they patrolled.

Hyakutake shook her head, a bit red in the cheeks. She didn't normally stumble, aaaaaaargh! "It's fine. I've had worse tumbles when I was learning parkour. That was nothing." She rubbed the back of her neck, noting absently that a trim was starting to be in order, perhaps. "I'm out on patrol. Gotta do what I can to make sure the city is...safer." Because she was one senshi, and could only do so much. "The uh...the jump was just me having a little fun while doing so. What about you? What brings you out here tonight?"

"Parkour? So you've had experience with this without even having senshi strength?" Glitnir couldn't help but feel a bit impressed that she was willing to do the feats included in parkour without even the safety net of power. "Well, it's good to hear you're on the job. The more people we've got on the street, the better. I'm doing the same thing, keeping an eye out for any Negaverse officers that might be around." There was a beat before he continued. "I do! I've been doing parkour for several years now." She bowed slightly, smile forming on her face. "I'm Sailor Hyakutake, senshi of willows. It's a pleasure to meet a fellow patroller!" It meant someone else, possibly, that she could work with. After all, her ability was best used in groups. And it meant one less person on the side of those eating at the city from the inside out. "Do you have any particular patrol area, or just wherever you think needs it?"

"Pleasure to meet you too," Glitnir said. "I tend to patrol around DCU, but sometimes I go out a little further. I've got a friend who drags me around town sometimes, but he kind of misuses his powers a bit sometimes. Not badly, but he prefers to use buildings to look for spots to eat instead of officers to chase off. How about you?" If Glitnir knew where Hyakutake frequented, he could find her and meet up with her again. Two heads on patrol was always better than one.

"...That is probably the silliest use of our powers that I've heard." She couldn't help the giggle that escaped her. "I tend to stick around a few areas. Around DCU, around one of the neighborhoods near it, and around Meadowview and Crystal." She rubbed the back of her neck. "I don't really have any set pattern as to which one I patrol, to keep the Negaverse from pinning down my patterns." The harder to ambush her, that way. She was not an offensive senshi.

"Yeah, he's... not taking everything 100% seriously yet. I hope it sinks in for him soon." Glitnir nodded as he made a mental note of Hyakutake's patrol patterns. "Well, I sometimes go around Crystal because my sister goes to school there, so that's two out of three places we could possibly meet in the future. Meadowview I don't check out so often, but hey, I'll help where I can if I can find you." His gaze went to the side for a moment. "Want to join up for tonight? A squire and a senshi together might shoo some Chaos out of the area."

"I hope so, too. This...this isn't really something you can just take lightly." She sighed, shaking her head, then blinked and nodded. "Sure! Sounds good to me. It's easier if I've got help, anyways, since I'm more geared for defense. Need a forcefield? I'm your girl~." The tiny senshi gave a sweeping bow. "Though I certainly have no qualms kicking or punching a face or three if they're aligned with the enemy!"

"I hope he figures it out himself before someone makes him figure it out," Glitnir said, also shaking his head. "A forcefield, huh? Sounds handy. My Squire magic induces guilt and a feeling of pressure, so it stops some less experienced people in their tracks. Maybe you can shield me while I channel my magic? Then again, I guess that'd make it hard to get away if we have to." He paused, feeling around for any prickly Chaos auras. "It doesn't feel like anyone else is around right now, but you never know when an officer might suddenly power up in your area."

"I hope so, too..." Poor sod, caught in a war and not taking it seriously..."Hm? I could do that, yeah. Others can leave it, once it's up, and I'm pretty light on my feet once it's down." She grinned and gave a mock salute. "There are advantages to being small and being able to use your surroundings to help propel you instead of hinder you~." The senshi looked around, probing as well before nodding. "Yeah. After all, pretty sure they've got their own 'secret identities', too. Well, shall we?"

"All right. I wouldn't want to leave you stuck and vulnerable if I had to retreat though." Glitnir did trust that Hyakutake had an accurate appraisal of her own speed. He turned to face the next nearby rooftop. "Well, if you're ready, so am I!" With that, he bounded off, making sure to feel for the senshi's aura behind him.
