Nordic guardian spirit of a family. They usually belong to one family, following a certain person from birth to the birth of their heir. It is their job to protect the health of the whole of the family after birth. It is said that to see the Fylgia of your family is a death omen, of either the seer or another close to them. The only reason a Fylgia would be on their own and about is that the whole of the family line is gone suddenly, setting the spirit free.

"So Pumpkin! How're you feeling?" She skirted about the room checking the iv and her patient's heart rate, a ball of energy as usual. "That was a nasty tumble you took wasn't it? Near impaled yourself!" She giggled sweetly as she counted out the proper dosages of her herbal remedies. Once that was done, she quickly brought it back and gave the liquid to her patient, laughing at their fake gagging noises. "Don't be silly! I may think you're really sick!" She mocked as she wrote something down on the chart at the foot of the bed. "I'll be back later to give you more meds, but ring if ya need me!" She nearly skipped away from her now sleepy patient a** she went to go check on another.
Personality:
She's energetic and quirky, always ready to lend a hand. She likes to think that if one is peppy and happy and sends out good energies, that their patients will heal faster. She has no documented proof but one can dream! She never is annoyed when a patient calls for her, no matter what it interrupts because she believes that she is only there to help others. And she is technically... She has no one to tend to as her existence dictates, and it makes her sad at times, but she will never let a patient see that. She also gets depressed if left alone with her thoughts in silence, so she likes to dwell around places of noise and energy.

Defining Features:
She doesn't look Nordic in the slightest, but rest assured that this tanned, black haired spirit woman hails from the land of the vikings and tales of large monstrous beasts. She wears wrap around dresses with rope ties. These dresses and ties change with the season, but she usually wears the same thing year round. The most defining features to her would be her golden 'tattoos' on her chest depicting wolves and owls in a Celtic design and her eyes. One would usually expect her eyes to be dark or some interesting shade, but her eyes are completely different. Seeing as she's lost her family to protect, so has she lost her human looking eyes, only to have therm replaced with what looks like opal. Her eyes glint in the light k**e the stone would, making them seems fake, but the fact that they follow you and she always knows where people are shows that they are her eyes.
Strengths:
Youth: While it sort of counteracts her weakness to birth, she works best on those with a youthful aura. It provides her with the necessary emotional standpoint from which she can work best.
Healing Stones: While she can't carry all of her stones on her, she carries a variety of stones that help boost her abilities.
Agility: She's very agile, being a corporeal spirit and all.
Weaknesses:
Combat: She is useless on the battlefield and her future vision can blind her if there are too many people and too many visions, she's left useless
Birth: She can't be around expecting mothers or new life as she fears she may be reattached to a family and lose getting to do what she loves for so many
Silence: It can literally kill her. She's a very social being, having been tied to large families, that if she is left alone to her own thoughts, they turn south and can cause her to act erratic
Death: It causes her physical pain to be around someone who has recently died. Not only is it a blow to her pride, but her nature forces her to be in pain.
Bio: "I was born to guard the Bäckahästen family back home. I was made to take the place of my elder, whose power was all but gone. But that isn't important. What is important is my them. It was a large family. A kind family. Farmers. Nurses. Loving. The war came... No one could escape it... I couldn't have prevented it either, as the heir to the family name saw me. He saw me and the contract for their lives were sealed... But that's all water under the bridge! Dear myling... water... The family name meant brook horse. I am horrible. Dear myling." At that point she began rambling about making horrible jokes and it being like using a god's name in vain. She continues for quite some time before she takes a deep breathe and closes her eyes. One second. Two seconds. Three. One minute. It took her two minutes to calm before she was back to her chipper self.
"From then on out, I couldn't very well sit about and do nothing! I thought I would go help another family! And another! And another and another, you get the point! Till I ended up here, and I've been happy ever since!" She then went on about how much she loved each family and how much fun she had helping and playing with the kids and how great it was being able to be seen without fearing their deaths. What really happened was she followed a certain caravan which housed a certain desert bird and as the bird moved, so did she. She had no where else to go and she was good at her job, earning her the position as nurse.
Abilities:
Blind Foretelling
- Think of it as a sort of future sight, without the 'seeing everything' bit. She can see only small distances into the future, but she cannot control who she sees. She can only offer odd advice if asked by the person she sees it helping, anyone else and she cannot say a word. It also happens at random, anything can trigger her sight.
Maternal Instinct
- She calls it that, but it's more of a gut feeling about what really ails a person. She doesn't have the feeling often and is usually brought on by one of two things
1. The ailment is near life-threatening
2. The affected has been ailing for a very long time
Extra:
She loves company and attention and loves it if someone wants to be around her. She also thinks that there should be a kennel at the school for the animals if their owners get sick and can't care for them. She would love to run that! "ANIMALS YESSSSSSSS!!!!"
