The lights dim, fading to blackness. On the titantron, an image of the galaxy is displayed, with thousands of stars swirling through the cosmos. A feint music begins to play, a solemn song to match the final frontier. After a few seconds, something begins to come into view - a hulking metal monstrosity, somehow bulky and sleek. A true ship of the stars. Along the side is a name: "MARINER." The grandest ship in all the skies. Inside the ship, a skeleton crew scurries to their positions. Hundreds of screens, filled with miles of code, numbers and letters which mean nothing to the unlearned, adorn the walls of the ship, failing to hide the cold military grey of the walls. Despite the hubbub, a clear voice booms out over the dry mumbling of the marines: "Launch Sequence Initiated. Launch in five..." A single pod emerges from the front of the ship, propelled by a burst of flame. It hurriedly speeds towards a nearby planet. A small, pale blue dot. "BREAKING ATMO. GET READY."
Back in the arena, all power seems to cut off. Sparks fly from the sides of the titantron, seeming to signal something. Before anybody knows what is happening, something falls from the ceiling, landing with a hard thud. The lights slowly turn back on, revealing what it was: the pod from the ship has landed. And it landed in BBW! Smoke slowly begins to rise, shrouding the ground. Suddenly, the curtains are pulled apart, as no less than nine men pour out of the backstage area, surrounding the pod, as if to guard it. They are wearing helmets, and what appears to be some sort of high-tech SWAT uniform, in a dark shade of grey - the kind of uniform you see in science fiction. On their arm was a badge, a symbol of their allegiance; these were space marines, men of the Galactic Dogs! Armed to the teeth with laser rifles and an assortment of other weapons, they stood ready to defend, aiming their shooters at the crowd. The door of the pod slowly opened, more smoke pouring out. After agonising seconds, a tall, strong-looking man emerges, dressed in a distinct manner; gone are the dark colours of the marines, in their place a less palatable, but more distinct array of earthly colours, topped by a distinct brown coat. The Galactic Dogs turn to him, standing to attention, and salute. This was the leader of their troupe. This was Commander Rhorus! He stepped down from his pod, arms behind his back, before coming to attention. He saluted, his gaze fixed on the ring. He broke his salute, marching down the ramp. His marines, in formation, followed. They all stepped in time as they walked. Upon reaching the ring, the formation split, and the marines surrounded it, armed and alert. The good captain headed to the steel steps, up to the ring apron, where he wiped his feet before entering the ring. He was, after all, a classy sort of gent, who did not wish to tread space dust all over people's property. He walked to the middle of the ring, offering a salute to the audience, his hard stare still piercing those before him. He dropped the salute once more, turning to face the entrance ramp. He took off his coat, preparing for his match.

Ladies and gentlemen! Boys and ghouls! Step right up! Behind this curtain lies a ghastly concoction of.. Delight! Horror! Fantasy and terror! Your every wish is our command! Your every whimsical desire brought to life! But I'm warning you.. There's always a price! Welcome to the greatest show unearthed! The Greatest Show Unearthed by Creature Feature played throughout the arena after it had gone dark. Something you think wrestling fans would grow accustomed to. Well some did, but it was still fun to play along wasn't it? Anyway the big old titantron cycled through many, many match highlights of the two as the song played on. All the while a ring of fire had flared up center of the stage and two people rose up. They stood back to back until the platform came to a stop, then they both stepped out of the circle and began the trek down the ramp. "And his opponent, accompanied to the ring by Claire Hawkins, at a weight of 220 pounds........he is the Suicidal Daredevil himself........MATT DRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVEN!Half way down the ramp, Matt broke out into a sprint and slid into the ring headfirst. He then hopped up and ran across the ring and hopped up onto the second turnbuckle of one of the ring posts, where he performed his signature taunt. He would then hop down and walk over to the other three ring posts and repeat said taunt. Meanwhile, Claire simply walked down the ramp and up the steps. Then into the ring. It wasn't anything fancy, but she had a most troublesome task before her. She had to keep an eye on 9 other people. Yeah, talk about a tall order to fill. Nonetheless, by the time Claire got down to ringside, Matt had finished up and could be seen waiting for the bell, his back against one of the corners. This was going to be difficult wasn't it?

As the bell rang, Rhorus approached the centre of the ring, a smirk on his face. He was wondering how easy it would be to psyche-out his opponent. He was still new to this, and hadn't seen much of Matt Draven, so his curiosity was great. "GALACTIC DOGS! SOUND OFF!"
Upon shouting this, the Galactic Dogs - all of them - began to make an almighty ruckus outside of the ring, hollering and hooting, stamping their feet, jeering at Matt. All this for their leader, in an effort to put off Draven, to keep him from his A-game. The commander kept on grinning, tilting his head as he stared into Draven.

Matt would be lying through his teeth if he said those bastards outside the ring weren't annoying, but he also understood full well what was at stake here. A shot at the Seasons Championship! So, for now, Matt was going to grin and bear their little taunts because he had a bigger goal. Therefore, Matt moved from his corner with agression and attempted to force Rhorus into a collar and elbow tie up!

It seemed the Galactic Dog's howling wasn't doing much to sway the spirit of Matt Draven, as he rushed forward for a lock-up. Rhorus graciously accepted, more than a little ready to begin some action. He accepted the lock up, and using his height advantage, would try to adjust it into a side headlock, a cocky flourish to begin, complete with a 'charming smile' (well, a toothy grin). On the outside, the dogs began to settle, standing attentively at the side of the ring. Two of them, however, began to walk towards Claire Hawkins. While they didn't approach her too closely, they were obviously keeping an eye on her. She was as much a wildcard as the Dogs.

Well that clearly hadn't been thought out now had it? Matt was quickly locked into Rhorus' standing side headlock! Not wanting to stay within his opponent's grasp, Matt turned slightly and attempted to plant several forearm shots right into Space Commander's side, just below the ribs. Claire, who had been silent and stationary throughout the Dogs' out burst, eyed the two that seemed to be making their way towards her. They were big guys, then against she was short compared to them, and they seemed to be wearing some sort of armor. Well Damn. Nonetheless, Claire kept an eye on the two of them in the event that they tried anything.

Ooft!Rhorus was smacked in the ribcage by Matt's harsh forearm shots. It hurt, but it was nothing compared to the sharp claws of the xenobites from Einem-12. Lost a whole platoon that day. Nasty buggers. With the thoughts of lost comrades on his mind, Rhorus loosened his grip on Draven, trying to fight through the shots. His stance dropped slightly, an attempt to stay in an offensive position. Outside the ring, one of the Dogs turned his head towards Claire. Masked, and in armour, he stared at her. He didn't move, or say a word, he just... looked. It was obviously an intimidation tactic, probably just to keep Claire on-edge and off her game. Perhaps it would have no effect, but it was happening regardless.

Rhorus' grip loosened and Matt saw his chance was about to try push the big guy off, however Rhorus lowered his stance and Matt found himself abruptly cut off at the pass. However he was not to be deterred! Looking to free himself, Matt attempted to push Rhorus back into the ropes and slingshot him across the ring. Claire was always on edge, how else was she supposed to stay deadly sharp? Nonetheless, she had to keep an eye on the action in the ring while keeping the other on the nine other guys outside the ring. If that wasn't enough to put somebody on edge on a normal basis what was!

Matt's attempt at freedom was respectable, and worked like a charm. Rhorus was thrown to the ropes at a fine pace, bouncing off the ropes. Coming back towards the opponent, the commander would attempt to take him down to the ground with a simple shoulder block. He was bigger, and didn't need anything fancy here, his shoulder and a decent speed would do the trick.

Matt managed to send Rhorus for a ride and was able to free himself! Unfortunately for him, Rhorus rebounded right back and collided with him! With a loud smack Matt was dropped to the canvas via shoulder block while Rhorus stood tall. He was some sort of space boomerang or somethin'!

"Aha!"
The confidence was radiating from Rhorus as his takedown was successful. Not wanting to leave too much breathing room - but being a little slow himself - Rhorus would raise his arm, and try to fall on Draven with an elbow drop!

Rhorus may be the bigger and stronger man, but Matt was the quicker and more daring of the two! Not like that really counted for much. Anyway, Rhorus went for an elbow drop but Matt rolled out of the way and quickly got up to his feet. He would then wait for the big guy to get back up before attempting to plant the soles of his boots squarely upon Rhorus' with a surprisingly smooth standing dropkick!

Rhorus' elbow crashed hard against the ground, missing the mark. His face was equal parts pained and surprised - he did not expect Draven to be so quick! He shook his arm as he made his way to his feet, shaking off the pain in his elbow. This was soon to become trivial, as a mighty fine dropkick hit him square in the chest! He stumbled backwards into the ropes, leaning too far and tumbling over the top. Lucky for him, he landed on his feet, almost falling from the accidental momentum. Three of the Dogs came over to him, patting him on the back and ensuring he was alright, while the rest of them jeered at Draven. He took a moment to catch his breath, shaking his head. He was expecting to control this match pretty thoroughly, but Draven had quickly put a stop to that hope.

Matt quickly got back up to his feet only to find a rather tempting situation! Even though he hadn't intended it, Rhorus was out of the ring and his cohorts were surrounding him! With a devilish smile, Matt darted to the ropes behind him, rebounded off of them for some added momentum, and attempted to jump over the top rope and crash down upon Rhorus and at least three of his buddies with a somersault plancha!
