Life Hunter BATTLE ARENA General Information The portal opens up into an observation room, and down the stairs, an odd chamber for something like hunter training. At the center of a piranha-filled pool stands a solid stone table and several chairs. The Life Arena was built underneath the demolitions and ballistics testing areas, and the chamber rumbles with the occasional explosions above. Pinpoint red lasers sweep across the room regularly, as if hidden snipers are searching for a nice target. In the center of the table sits a wooden tower, made up of smaller wooden blocks. Yes. That's right. The Life Hunters prefer to train via Jenga.
Note: Distraction techniques and Yo Momma jokes are considered viable weapons when playing competitively.
If you fail: you have knocked down the tower! A small dart hits the back of your neck. You come to several hours later, and hope Dr. H didn't do anything to your body while you were unconscious. When you look into the mirror...
If you win: you have reached 50 points! You get a sharpie marker to do with as you please. peen points go to those with the highest scores.
Group Play Playing in a group on any course means certain things can be shifted to make it a better experience for multiple people without holding anyone back. An approved group play alteration for the life arena goes as follows: When someone knocks the tower down, they are shot with a weaker dart. They will wake up 5 minutes later, the game can be reset back to the point before it fell by placing their hands on the table and saying the word, constructum. This allows them to start again where they left off instead of the beginning. They can take up to three of these darts before passing out for an hour, the game will not reset for them and they will need to try again from the beginning.
Mechanics - by carefully removing pieces of the tower, you earn points and advance to the next round. As the rounds continue, the odds grow steadily against you. Rolling a 1 at any point means you have knocked down the tower. Please do enjoy your mystery dart. Anything after reaching 50 points is purely for peen.
- you may roll pieces individually (suggested for group play) or in batches of 5 (basically, a full round.)
Round 1
Pieces: 5 Points per piece: 1 Trainee Roll: 1d10 Life Trainee Roll: 1d12 Hunter Roll: 1d12 Life Hunter Roll: 1d20
Round 2
Pieces: 5 Points per piece: 3 Trainee Roll: 1d8 Life Trainee Roll: 1d10 Hunter Roll: 1d10 Life Hunter Roll: 1d12
Round 3

Round 4
Pieces: 5 Points per piece: 10 Trainee Roll: 1d4 Life Trainee Roll: 1d6 Hunter Roll: 1d6 Life Hunter Roll: 1d8
Bonus Mechanics Life Hunters train for precise hand eye coordination and exceptional judgement, thus they have a slightly lower chance of knocking down the tower.

Clyde had been sent to go train. Train apparently meant swimming in piranhas infested waters. Ok this place was getting weirder by the second. AI units, not even a single park on the island, poorly constructed buildings , and now a pool full of Piranhas. which was odd considering he hadn't even heard the birds once since getting here. Then again he didn't even know if they were still on the island, he had walked through a portal to get here. Clyde stared form the observation deck, wondering how exactly he was supposed to do this. He stared at the life training area. Were those lasers? Was that Jenga? Were they really serious with this training scenario? He was now wondering if he was just trapped in a really odd video game instead.

Chel was poking the piranhas with the end of her pen, because it was funny.
But then they ate her pen.
And she was penless.
Luckily the trainee she'd been assigned to showed up, tapping buttons on his phone. He was hot so Chel was already down.
"Sup?" She stood up from the fish, just leaving her pen to die. "Oh s**t- you that dude from twitter yeah? Forget your name sorry- I'm Chel."

He was suddenly known as the one dude from twitter. ok, he could roll with that. "Hello I'm Clyde, Moon division. Nice to meet you Chel." he glanced at his phone and then realized she had just been talking with him. Oh she was the one who's posts he could barely read because they might as well have been in a foreign language. He put his phone away. "You are the one who posts in chat speak." he turned an looked at the training area. "So.... we go remove pieces of the tower.... right? Or is there some other rule I don't know about."

"Chat speak?" she asked him with a tilted head. "The ******** that?" Chel had never been one of internet culture.
She gestured him to the jenga tower. "Yeah. Except, y'know. Pirahnas, lazers, and if you knock that s**t over, you get a dart in the neck, knock out and I get a marker."
She gave him a seedy grin that ensured him yes, there would be dicks on his face if he failed.phantompanther13 sorry >_ i hadnt put this one on my tag list!

"It's where you abbreviate words down to almost one or two letters." she used it, how could she not know? He say that grin. it brought a smile to his own face. "Where is that marker? Or do I get it if you are the one doing the knocking over?" If she was going to turn it into a contest, they would make it a contest. He grinned back to her. "Well not time like the present." Clyde got out in the training area and.... knocked over the tower immediately. It was the lazer's fault, really. Clyde was not at all used to having to like dodge anything. The moment the tower started falling he knew he knew... there would be a d**k on his face in a few minutes. And then he woke up he went to reset the tower... and then use his phone as a mirror. chiickadee You forgot about me! also... gj Clyde. >.> Is that better?

Chel rolled her eyes. Abbreviating was faster, but that definitely wasn't the reason she used it. "S'at what it's called? Never knew." She didn't bother bringing up her dyslexia. If Duncan Clyde wasn't asking, she wouldn't bother explaining.
The guy went down fast and Chel smirked, pulling out the marker. Predictably he ended up with a hairy d**k on his arm. Chel was kind enough to put it somewhere that could be hidden, at least for the first one. The second and third time she might not have been as generous.
She spent her own time pulling pieces out, but eventually he woke up. "Ahhh, welcome back to th' world of the livin' Sleepin' beauty."Status Round: 1 Pieces Taken: 3 Total Points: 3

When Clyde woke up he was quick to find the d**k pic. It was no surprise at all, except it was on his arm not his face. This time though, this time Clyde was not going to make a dumb move. "Morning. First time was just a test." Right she would totally believe you Clyde. but he had a grin suggesting he really wasn't mad. And then went out and grabbed 10 pieces. Maybe he was showing off just a little now. "Top that." Status Round: 1 Pieces Taken: 10 Total Points: 10

"Oh is that what it was?" Chel taunted, removing pieces as she spoke. "'Cause it looked to me like you ********' bombed it that first time."
She was surprised to see how fast Clyde could move the pieces. "So what's your dealio park man?" Status Round: 1 Pieces Taken: 9 Total Points: 12

"I told you the first time was just a test run." he grinned and removed a bunch more. He knew how to play this game.... The only difference was lasers and the pool of water and the suspicious looking fish. "Have you done this before?" he had a feeling she had. Status Round: 2 Pieces Taken: 5 Total Points: 15
