Class time is spent here, while actual hand to hand combat training will be performed on the training grounds (on the battle field, located in the training grounds subforum). Teacher- Jacob Matthews

"But Vincent..one little spell? Hehehehe"
Lucian decided to see if Haseo had woken up from his summer break nap. "Haasseeeooo~" The djinn sang cheerfully. Walking into the classroom came the massive black wolf, he was decorated in old runic symbols. Lucian was mounted on the wolf. "Haseo?" Lucian called out to his long time friend very confused. Haseo never leaves his classroom, ever. That's not being dramatic at all, Haseo basically lives inside the classroom. Maybe he left for once?Amadeus the wolf said to his master. Lucian rolled his eyes and sighed to his familiar. "Don't be silly, Haseo hates leaving his room". Lucian and his familiar trailed around the classroom utterly confused. Maybe Vincent found a new combat teacher?? No, Haseo has shown great results in his teaching. This truly baffled the black magic teacher.
A few creaking sound and dusty movements later, an antique body stood up and his grey eyes opened. Haseo the undead swordsman stepped forward from his abyssmal hibernation, only to find a familiar figure wandering in his classroom.
"Nice to see you," Haseo called out to Lucian the djinn. The undead samurai-turned-teacher stretched his old joints and bones, popping a few back into place as he did. His torn cheeks stretched as he let out a yawn. "What brings you here?" he then asked Lucian, returning to his constant stern behavior.
"So you better remember my lessons."

"But Vincent..one little spell? Hehehehe"
Lucian and his familiar looked over to see Haseo rise from the shadows. Amadeus growled under his breath. "Haseooo..how was your nap, dear?" The djinn giggled jumping off the wolf. Lucian floated over to Haseo and latched onto him knowing how much that bugged him. "Ooh, I can't wake up and visit a good old friend?" Lucian teased with his usual playful self. The djinn was poking at Haseo's forehead evilly. "Still as glum as ever..just one smile?" Lucian teased with a smirk. The djinn released the unliving elf and floated circles around him. "I'm sure you could go for a sparing match? To warm up those old man bones" Lucian teased some more. Lucian had no room to talk for he was older than Haseo. Lucian was as playful as usual. Something people either loved or hated about him. Behind all the sinister teasing, Lucian truly missed his bestfiend over the summer break.
The undead samurai was, to put it bluntly, not even willing to spend energy to mess with Lucian. Apparently for the djinn, Haseo had become his best friend. To be honest, despite his stern attitude, Haseo has only few friends. In this school, only a handful of people, even the teachers, know about Haseo, so it does bring comfort that at the very least there is someone who would just come over and annoy him.
At the word spar, Haseo's lips curled into a smile. "If you truly intend to spar, then I suppose we should head out to the training ground. This place is ill-designed to handle the stress of combat," he suggested, his hand gripping his ridiculously long nodachi.
"So you better remember my lessons."

"But Vincent..one little spell? Hehehehe"
Seeing the smile that formed on Haseo's face made Lucian form a sinister smirk. The djinn appeared to be mounted on his familiar in the blink of an eye. "There's that smile" Lucian laughed then. A magic symbol appeared under lucian and amadeus. "So I'll see you at the training grounds! Be ready!" Lucian laughed with his eyes flashing with magic. Soon Lucian and the wolves body vanished into thin air with the symbol underneath them.
Gripping his blade, Haseo vanished in a wisp of wind. If he could, he would prefer to duel in the classroom, but he fears that it would be destroyed. And it costs a lot to repair all the damages. And that itself is a major cut from his paycheck, which he would prefer not have any deducted.
The new girl walked inside the class. She had a snotty look like she didn't want to be there. She walked and took her seat with a groan. This class was already boring. Though she could always ditch~ Though she was already in there. If no one showed up then she'd just leave.

Scratching her head, the petite female groggily walked into class. The girl couldn't help but blush slightly, she had appeared to class somewhat late. It being her first day and all, that wasn't exactly a good thing. Upon entering, she saw that there was only one other person who had arrived so far. Luka sighed in relief, maybe she wouldn't be scolded for being late after all! She hadn't brought anything with her to this class mainly because she didn't believe there would be any need for it. It was a combat class after all. "M-Morning.." She stuttered, hoping the girl heard her through her stuttering raspy whisper of a voice.

Stefan was disappointed to have arrived so late to the school. The train was slower than expected, making his arrive nowhere near on schedule. It was already partly second period and he was possibly late. That is, he assumed. Looking around, there were only two others. Quite strange, as they both seemed familiar, but he brushed away the thought and only stood within the are ready for whatever the lesson of the day would be, giving a sluggish wave to anyone he caught looking at him.
Bell rose an eyebrow at the new comers. Merely rolling her eyes at them and continuing to look around. Bella didn't respond to Luka. But they seemed... Familiar though she decided not to think too much on it. When was the teacher going to arrive!? A low groan came from her lips. She was getting a headache.

Luka stood there with her hood over her head, one of the more rarer days she decided to wear her hair down. With her hands stuffed in her pockets, she noticed another student had arrived. Looking over her shoulder, more like peaking from behind her hood, she caught a glimpse of the boy. Upon looking at his face she couldn't help but get the feeling she'd seen him before. This odd feeling filling her stomach with a small sense of regret and happiness. But she shrugged it off as much as she could, smiling softly at the two students. Hearing a soft groan escape the girl's mouth made Luka feel even more awkward than she already felt. But it was her first day after all.. She just needed to get into the swing of things.

JACOB MATHEWS Combat Magic Teacher Ex-Verewolves Private Contracting Co.
The door opening with a boot and then a man walking in backwards holding the door open with his butt until he was through, holding a tray with four coffees without lids on top of it.
"Ughhh... damnit.... damnit.... Damnit.... no no ...... *whew*..." Jacob entered and trying to balance the coffee until he got to the front desk. Setting them down without spilling any of them.
His back to the class, he grabbed one of the 36oz cups of coffee, all dark black and steaming, filling the room with its smell. And bringing it to his nose wafting the smell. Taking a few sips before turning around, his hand half way in his pocket and the other holding the coffee. The bags beneath his eyes very apparent, and his over all expression tired, and slothly.
Letting out a yawn then smacking his lips once. His eyes shifting among the three students. In a flat monotone voice with a tint of sarcasm, "Three huh? ...... meh, easier for me I guess. Uhh... welcome to Basic Combat and Combat Magic ya little s**ts-- eh I...... yah. *sippppppppppp* ... ah, I guess. I'm Mr. Mathews... just call me Jake or whatever, just Mathews if you want...though, I don't like formalities and titles." He stated holding and gesturing with the cup of coffee in hand, getting very very close to spilling over with every movement.

Well, finally it was time for the teacher to pop in. The teacher seemed a bit more louder than expected. Then again, this was a combat oriented class. Stefan gave the man credit, being able to juggle coffee so aggressively and not spill a single one. The odor filled the air, and he already had an idea of what to expect. They say you are like what you drink, and this teacher was most likely not sugar-coated and straight to the point.
At the look of four coffee cups, Stefan made a conclusion that they were for all of them to have. What a nice guy. Stefan was a fan of coffee, especially if it was brewed well. Although, the guy seemed to have gotten himself comfortable. Four cups for himself? This class...
"Jake. Simple. It's a pleasure."
The expression on Stefan's face had not changed from apathy at any moment. The only thought was, regardless of the students or teacher, excelling was the main idea.
Bellatrix scowled. He just now walks in with coffee all to himself. Curses at the students then lazily sits down and gets comfy. The witch was not amused in the slightest. She looked over ay the boy who was the first to speak. She then decided to speak up as well.
" I dont suppose you're going to share that with the rest of us. If you drink too much your body will have to urinate later. Plus. More sleep should help you not chug down caffeine. " she told him but then snickered. " oh but pardon me. It's really none of my concern. Just some friendly advice to the dear teacher".
