Mirrorspace was still new to Mintaka, but it never failed to lead her from the danger. She could see the fading mirror of the gym locker room as if it was never there. The quiet eerie mist that floated along in the mirrors actually calmed her more then anything. Here in this place, they were safe.
Here in this place, she stopped for him.
"Catch your breath." As if she summoned it, a small chair appeared and she drew it over. "I don't want to just drop you off somewhere for you to figure this all out. Can you tell me your name little one?" She asked politely, as she set Elsa in the chair. Mirrorspace didn't worry her much, there was nothing but wraiths hidden in the mist, and they were shy creatures. She was still attempting to befriend one.
"I don't think I can find food or water in here but if you want me to find some I could try."

Elsa was still shaken and scared, and even though Mintaka was, effectively, a stranger, he found himself Mirror Eternal like a lifeline. When she had first shown up, he had been concerned that she would be trouble for him - that she intended to get in the way of the Negaverse's operation and make his life more difficult.
He was pretty damn glad he was wrong.
When she set him in a chair, he curled up, and tried to get his breathing back under control.
"I'm not that little," he protested, but then, she wasn't exactly wrong. "Elsa. My name's Elsa."
He took a moment to look around, and narrowed his eyes. "Where...is here?"

"I don't mean it offensively." Mintaka added, "But also because of your age and rank." She reached over and drew his hair away from his face. "I haven't met many dark mirrors, especially newer ones."
She made a small humming sound. "Elsa?" She smiled. "That is a good name! I've heard about Elsa. It's a asteroid isn't it?" She didn't know EVERYTHING about space but when a disney princess came about, she wondered the origin of the name.
"Here is Mirrorspace. It's a dimension for Dark mirrors, only accessible to use by traveling through mirrors." She looked around. "I haven't finished exploring it, It's very large. Sometimes it drops me off into mirrors I didn't expect. But it always brings me comfort in here." She heard a slight shuffling, of furniture again as the room shifted into a posh and comfortable room, though the smokey mist remained.

Elsa exhaled. It was easy to just relax and let Mintaka brush his hair away from his face, while he tried to process his way through exactly what his magic had done to him. It had been terrifying, to be at the center of the hint of some awful predatory creature.
"An asteroid, yeah. What's your name? And - what is it?" He was curious, if he was honest, even if it came out sounding stupidly childish. Who was it that had saved him and brought him to this strange, but somehow wonderful place?
Slowly, he stood up, curiously reaching for the strange, misty swirls that formed in front of him. "So...this is ours, then. I've never been able to get here - mirrorwalking just takes me from mirror A to mirror B," he explained. "How do you get here? Is that something I'll get later, like, uh, those wings?"
Ask a thousand questions, and maybe she wouldn't ask why he'd been curled in a ball and needed to be carried out.

She waited for him to calm down, to ease into conversation as distraction. His questions were met with a smile of course because, wasn't it funny to be on the other end of the spectrum. Once upon a time, she had been a basic order unit, fighting Chariklo, who had turned around and taught her to fight.
"Mintaka, It's a double star." She cocked her head, "Part of Orions belt." She held out her hand and summoned a paper crane handing it out to him. "And I am the senshi of Origami."
"Yeah, it's ours." She took a seat on one of the plush chairs, her legs dangling over the side. it was nice she thought, to have someone here. She had brought Aurostibite, shown him Ares's throne and that had been it.
"When you power up, you'll be able to stay longer in here." she nodded, "You'll make friends with a wraith, and they'll help you drain energy, and it all comes here. It's still a mystery to me, how much it goes into. How deep it falls.
Her wings shifted only for the chair, and she murmured. "To be honest, I am not sure how helpful the wings are. I had them when I was an order senshi. They just converted when I became the level I am now." Damo had wings, if she thought about it, so it must be a eternal gain. Leto and Remarque had full wings.

Elsa reached out and took the paper crane, turning it over in his hands. There was a faint smile on his face as he looked it over - it was something so...simple and nice. Why did other people get simple spheres, like origami?
"I'm the Senshi of the Wendigo." He swallowed. "They're, um, Algonquian cannibal monsters." He stared down at his lap, as if she should feel guilty for what the universe had stuck him with, and he was all too happy to jump to the subject of mirrorspace.
He settled a little further into his chair, nodding along as she explained. "I have one wraith," he said, not that he'd gotten much use out of it really. The occasional draining run, but he was still feeling things out as a Senshi.
"How did you get like this? With the wings, and the stronger power...thingy - Eternal?"

Simple and nice was good and all, not when it mattered in a battle though.
"That's scary." She looked over at him. "Do you like it?" She cocked her head, "Your sphere I mean. Does it make you feel different?" She couldn't tell by his nervousness, or if he just felt odd in mirrorspace. She couldn't keep him here long since it took a lot of energy but she wanted to make sure he was okay.
"You get three all together when you get to my level." She smiled. "I don't mind them really. Some are really shy, some are very...um...aggressive." she had two of the more aggressive ones and one that was just..normal. She knew that Canopus though had one that was very shy. Like the girl herself.
"Guardian cat actually." She nodded her head, "She gave me a new henshin pen when she thought I was ready." ********* one good thing about order she thought. Something she missed being a DMC. No cats over here. "Here, Mirrorspace helps you out...I think. You know when you are ready and then you power up when you need. Magic jumbo." She cocked her head, "Do you want to become stronger?"

Elsa's head jerked up, and he shook it, hard. "God no, I mean, I did, but then --" He swallowed. "The Corrupt with the bright red hair. I dunno if you saw him. But he. Used my magic on me. And it's awful, it's like there's this thing coming to get you and everything's cold and smells like rotting flesh and I wanted to throw up."
He never wanted to use his magic again. He wasn't sure he'd get that choice.
"I don't know, it might just...get worse." Elsa shuddered a little, at the thought of his magic getting worse. "I mean, what the hell right do I have to do that to people? It's not like - I mean - that's the kind of s**t you get nightmares from."

"Oh..." She reached over again and brushed his hair back, meaning for it to be of comfort. She didn't know if he would like hugs so she pursued her lips and let her hands fall to her sides.
"That is, very scary." She couldn't think of it really, imagine being hit by something like that. It was one thing to cast it, but to have it mirrored? That could shake confidence. "I didn't see him."
She sat back and waited, her fingers lacing together as she contemplated words of wisdom she was sure she didn't have.
"You don't have the right to use it on anyone." She cocked her head, "In a perfect world, you wouldn't need too. But we are at war, and whatever we can do to ensure winning is all that matters." She softened her voice a little. "It will most likely get worse, Elsa. But so will this war. Pretty soon, you'll be doing things you never thought you would...or could." She looked away from him now, contemplating her own situations.
"Would you like to go home? And if you can't sleep, would you like to be drained so you do?" She never offered the option because well...stealing energy was wrong, and even offering it felt wrong but...she didn't have sleeping pills or stuff like that? What other option did she have?

Elsa exhaled, letting her push his hair back and then repeating the motion himself, but he ended with his face pressed into his hands.
"I don't think I really got what that means - that this is a war - until tonight," he confessed, and his voice was soft. It hadn't really hit him. He hadn't tangled in anything really bad, not since becoming a Senshi. He knew in the abstract what was going on, but in specific? Nope.
"Is it worth it?" He asked, and he sounded a little desperate. "I just...I don't know how it can be." It had to be, though. There had to be some reason so many people kept fighting. He lifted his head up at her offer, nodding. "And um, I'd like that. I don't know if I'd be able to sleep otherwise?"

Mintaka brushed some of his hair back and nodded.
"It often can be an eye opener. Alright then...Can you tell me the area in which you live?" She stood now, brushing her bodice off and looking around. "I can see which mirror it is, hmmm."
She blinked, "I will do that for you then, as soon as I can get you home."
