A large area for sparring between Auras, protected and kept at room temperature via spells placed around it.
Small break tables with enriched water and chairs are located at each corner.

Josiah watched the empty field, wondering what battles may or should have taken place there, his eyes were much calmer from the night before and his hellion like attitude had faded, however the battle lust that slowly began to grow inside him ticked further. He needed a sparring match. Something to soothe the burns that the roaring flame inside him.

He began to wonder about the various Auras the world had, wondering if his was a weak or a strong one. It was something that didn't trouble him that much, but it something to worry about--would he be able to protect himself with this ability he had?[ Would be able to protect others with his strength and ability?

His physical aura didn't seem that common--he didn't even know what to call it. Maybe some cool like Aegis, or something.

Josiah chuckled at how dumb and geeky it was that he was trying to name his abilities.

Shall I tell you a joke?

╔══════════════════════════╗

PT:
Kieran had spun around when she heard the familiar voice of the boy from her cabin, and she smiled when he offered up a joke. So the war continues, she thought happily, opening her mouth to answer to the best of her knowledge.

That was, however, until a new boy walked in and answered for her. He was handsome, seeming a bit older than Cory by maturity but not as old as herself. She smiled at him kindly before waving slightly, taking her hand off her hilt.

"It is very nice to meet you. We are team Taurus, you must be our new teammate. It's is very nice to have you here."

She smiled before her green orbs drifted over when Layla came tumbling out of her room with a- looking like- dead Charles in her hand. She watched intrigued, without horror, as the girl whipped up a concoction and began chanting.

Kieran turned apologetically to the two boys. "I hope to see Charles kicking again tomorrow. Please forgive such a display," she said to the new boy.

With that, she waved, gave Layla a thumbs up, and returned to her room.

Kieran awoke with a start, unable to fully comprehend where she was. She read the alarm to read 5 am and she sighed, her brown locks cascading over her pillow. Steeling herself, she pushed off of the bed before entering her bathroom. Doing her business, she quickly got dressed in her usual uniform, she had so many of these, and walked out into the empty living room. She couldn't tell if Layla was still chanting or sleeping next to Charles, or if they had gone back to their room. All she could tell, however, was that the sun was just about to peak over the horizon and from this dorm it would be beautiful to behold.

Instead, however, Kieran rummaged around her bag and pulled out a crisp apple before leaving the abode. She did hope her teammates would be alright if she left without a word, and she began traversing the many corridors with ease. She was used to such beauty, but never before had she been able to just gawk at it, and she smiled to the passing students on their way to wherever they were going.

Getting curious, Kieran opened a random door and found herself outside. She drank in the cool air with appreciation, and she wondered how they could have fit the outside world inside the school. Well, she shrugged, stepping in and opening the door, that was magic for you.

Stepping out onto the grassy plain, she saw someone also there so early in the morning and she frowned before a smile lit her face.

"It seems you have had the same idea," she said kindly, placing her bag upon the concrete and walking further into the large grassy area. "Do you think this is the place to spar?"

She cracked her neck, beginning to warm herself up. She had not sparred for days and had only done small exercises here and there. She was aching for a worthy challenge. The boy was larger than her, but she was sure he would still be a challenge.

Josiah snicked as the surprise appearance of the regal soldier girl who began to loosen her body. The smile was one of a mixture of disbelief and amusement. He didn't under estimate her, he just thought it was rather ballsy of the Jokester
Josiah had been leaning against a column in which he crossed his arms. However as he listened to the girl, wondering he she declaring a challenge, he straightened out and began to crack his anxious knuckles. Somewhere this unspoken desire for a friendly bout stoked a flame within him and he sought to have it be even more consuming.

Her questioning was clear to him, he chuckled a bit and responded

"Seems like it" He smirked as he jumped towards the center of the grass from the stone, the clear distance was impressive, as if he gain super strength and threw himself towards the center of the field. " I feel somehow you're not here to test out new material out on you biggest fan...If it's what I am thinking, I may like this new shtick" He joked as he began fan out his fingers and closed them into a fist raising them toward his face. He jutted one fist out as if to single proper boxing etiquette

"I'd get it if you'd stay away from the arrogant american with a penchant for causing trouble, more so when it comes to fighting. So Kieran....Wanna Dance with the American in the Bright Russian Sunlight?" A confidant gaze was flowed from Josiah's eyes. His presence emitted a "pull" towards the energized Josiah. His eyes begun to scan the woman before him, he didn't want to under estimate him, but there seemed to be crazier abilities than his own---and the thought had invigorated him, a pulse was sent through his body. A blood ruse that begun to tighten and swell his muscles--casting off his common 'cool' demeanor for a lip-bitten smirk that came with determined look upon his face.

It wasn't crazed. It was as the starving man had found the most succulent meat he could find--Maybe he was over estimating her...But it had been so long he could just go to town if she gave him the A-okay

Taking off her overcoat, her marked shoulders bared to the air and to Josiah. She smiled to the boy as she quickly placed her folded overcoat onto the grass far enough away from the fight, and looked back to him after moving her long braid behind her.

"I can assure you, this new 'shtick' will leave you gasping on the ground," she said happily, her left hand grasping her sword lightly.

She immediately grasped his fighting style, that of possible boxing, as she watched him jab outward. She cocked her head however when Josiah spoke again.

"I would never stay away from you, loving Josiah! But I would most like to dance with you!"

Pulling out her sword finally, she placed it in front of her face in a proverbial bow to him. Switching it around her, she bent her knees slightly before placing her right hand, palm outward, towards Josiah with her left hand raised above her head. The high resistant steel shone brightly next to her now gray orbs, and she smiled towards the boy with mirth.

Finally she was going to combat a real target!

He dashed forward. A gust of air blew towards the swordsman as he rushed her, his eyes a ghostly blue seemed like pale saucers of an animal playing with prey. He closed mouth smirk told it all, he was enjoying this. He slammed attempted grab onto metal blade like a greenhorn..

Kieran smirked when he tapped her blade with care, in his own silent bow, and she was rather fond of the boy. She could tell his aura slightly changed, his demeanor becoming a more robust one.

He was fast, Kieran thought as he tried to grasp hold of her blade. But not fast enough.

Time seemed to slow down for her, her grey orbs darting from one side to the other. She saw it all, every last probable outcome to her moving in a certain direction. He was inexperienced in real combat, trained combat, and she knew it would do no good to continue to keep close to him without another angle of attack seeing as it would be over rather soon.

To a normal person, it would look like she teleported, but to her it seemed as if she was just moving at incredible speed. Her braid floated in front of her as she sped backwards, her sword next to her leg as she swished it downward, and she stared at Josiah with a blank expression. He seemed to be slightly experienced in one form of combat, but nothing much else. He had to have something above his sleeve, as she thought the saying goes, and her left hand gripped her sword as she sped closer to the boy.

Bending down, her sword swung menacingly close to Josiah's belly. He didn't seem like he could perceive time the way that she could, and if he could not, she was well aware how to stop her blade before it split him in two. Though, first, she would make at least contact with his stomach before halting her muscles to move any further.

Josiah's vision blurred as the woman disappeared from his sight. As if she vanish, but Josiah wasn't that gullible. He soon felt some wind run across him--he smirked as he felt the feint across his stomach. Josiah smirked--he entered the fight without his aura activated. He wanted to test if her blade was real. And with that little decision of not to hit him was surprising.

'Is it wind..? No. I doubt she would start it like that, and just to SHOW me that she could hit me. She's clearly more skilled.' He begun to think about the circumstance of the woman's ability. Her prowess with a blade had begun to set in. It wasn't a fight he had before. No he we fighting someone who trained with there's well beyond his
'She's could end it, but thats not what she wants. She's...' He tried to decipher the meaning of the woman's actions 'I am just making assumptions, this is the first one...'

He looked towards the woman regaining stance. The male looked at the now gray eyed girl.
.'Her eyes...so it's physical change...maybe--no then why would she strike me?

Josiah looked towards her. She was fighting in response. He smirked. He looked at her in a new light. She didn't seem much like the girl he seen before. It was a more thrilling experience.

"If you draw blood, you draw blood. I get that I ain't a swordsman, but I can hold my own" He sighed as he raised his hands, his index finger were pointed out. A sudden glint shown, the male soon made scissor motion with his fingers--unbeknownst to the girl two razor sharp barriers were heading straight for her.

He thought about her trajectory on how she would counter--would she go under and hit his stomach, his flank, in the air even? He wondered what her ability was

"And if you take blood from me, it'll just show me how I shouldn't be here in this school." He smirked as the telekinetic barriers sliced through the air. He was a more brutal ability user, nothing elegant--it almost made him envious

So he is not a barrier elemental or physical, she concluded as she halted her muscles in response to his will of unresponsiveness. She jumped back a few feet again, watching him as she went, and she cocked her head. She had never fought anyone like him before, someone who still had a smirk on his face after losing the first round.

Well, Kieran thought as her grey orbs pierced his blue, it was not like this was fencing. She had made the first strike, but it was not like he knew what was coming. He was slow, she thought, just like everyone else. How was this supposed to be interesting?

Her mouth dropped in shock when he gave her permission to draw blood. If he could really hold his own, then why had he lost already? Should she take it easy on him. She shook her head slightly, no. If you underestimate your opponent, they will surely destroy you. It was not that she really did underestimate the boy before her, but it was difficult to see him as a combatant that she wished of him. There was too much blood on her hands already, and she did not wish to draw any from Josiah, but as he gave her permission... well, what harm could it be to knick him a few times and bring him to his knees?

She tensed as she was about to speed directly toward him, but stopped suddenly when the air around her displaced. It was right after the boy made some type of scissor motion with his fingers and Kieran frowned. What was it?

Whatever it was, it was coming right for her and it was definitely invisible. She had never defended against anything like that before and her probability kicked into overdrive as her mind slowed down time around her. Running every possible good outcome in her brain, she suddenly catapulted to the right, seeming to teleport again, but she did not stop. Her hand brushed the soft grass to keep her balanced, and she blew away the dirt as her foot stomped into the ground to keep her running.

It was an invisible weapon, she thought as she ran, giving herself time to think. She needed a more rounded form of his ability, needed to see if the barriers would follow her in her quick movements, or if they were simply a frontal assault or Josiah had to control it. Was it with his mind, or was it with his hands?

She gripped her sword in her left hand, her speed making every step she took cause small explosions of sonic booms as she went, and she suddenly catapulted to Josiah. She slightly hopped, knowing when she landed she would be on the other side of the boy at the edge of the arena, and she slid a portion of her sword downward so that it would slice into the lithe of skin connecting Josiah's neck and shoulder. It was a flesh wound, but if he could not block even that, then she would definitely win the second round.

Josiah watched the woman and her subtle movements were registering differently to him, sure she was still the cute little east euro girl, but, her focus and shift into a soldier was almost striking to him another way.

He knew nothing of rounds, how to have them, or who to call them if they won. It was Josiah's mindset. The only round you ever got was life. A sparring fight was a seldom acted series of motions for Josiah. No structure. He wasn't a fighter in the sense that she was. Her discipline. The refined and the crude.
He kept his smirk as he saw nothing as she disappeared from his sight as he created the scissor motion. Her disappearing act was amusing to the boy and it was turning to be a learning experience. On how Josiah's ability and experience seemed limited. It was if he was watching a super-computer that process all types of information. It was soon becoming clear to Josiah that i wasn't an arrogance that told her not to draw blood. The booms echoed around him. He wondered what she was--a bullet woman or something, he started to careless about that now. Too much focus else where the battle was here. However it came to him that this woman was fighting with a 'proper' form.

She was practicing etiquette. As soon as he tried to decipher the woman's motives and attack patterns a sudden glint that came off a metallic object flickered in his eye--She was drawing close to his neck. His fingers still in motion of the scissor attack, with no free hands he used the next best thing.

He put his ability were his mouth was--a light bend around his bound was shown as the blade gotten close. He snatched the blade with his teeth. His bare teeth, sure his ability was protecting it--but it showed how 'feral' the boy looked.

His eyes seemed thrilled. Almost on a high. His teeth clench down on the blade's form. Tightly locking the metal weapon in his maw. His feral eyes soon looked at the girl who cleverly attacked him. His eyes widened. Then softened as if knowing how crazed he looked. It was an awkward moment--he winked towards the girl as he switched the motion in which his arms move to attack the girl, much like the scissor motion with his finger a moment ago.

Kieran's grey orbs widened in shock her momentum stopping, thankfully she was able to plant her feet into the ground as to not kick the living hells out of the boy's gut, and her blade suddenly stuck in the boy's mouth. He seemed much like one of the feral dogs Kieran witnessed outside of her bed chambers, though those dogs never gave a wink.

Her cheeks would have flushed if she was not fully in her combative stance, and she quickly could tell his fist was rushing toward the undercarriage of her ribs.

No, no, no, no!

If she didn't move, whatever that invisible attack was would skewer her there. She flicked her eyes to her weapon, angered to her core that she could not rip it out of the boy's mouth for fear of his teeth being pulled with it, and she quickly released it and did a quick blackflip. Her hands brushed the ground quickly before finally righting herself and she reached into her hidden sheath on her back, taking out her knife and chain. She held the chain loosely in her palm, the dagger inverted in her hand as she glared at the boy. He had taken her primary weapon and it rather infuriated her. Her aptitude could not pinpoint the usage of such an invisible attack, and the only thing she could correlate is that it was directly tied to the motion Josiah did with his fingers.

If this was a real fight, she would simply cut them off to see if he would still be able to summon the barriers, but alas.

His wink still replayed in her head and she did her best to push it aside. This was just a sparring session, not some type of flirting. Was it flirting? She had only read of such a thing in her dictionary, and some books, and Kieran was rather confused how in such the heat of battle he could be so callow.

Sighing, she began at a normal run toward the boy, ready to get her sword back.

He watched as Kieran reacted to his unorthodox manner of fighting. Like a feral coyote, his actions were survivalist and improvised in moments of danger and peril. He took advantage of situations in which he could, and biting down on the blade symbolized this. However he never suspected Kieran's flustered appearance to actually affect her fighting. That the mode she fought in till was her to an extent.

Josiah wondered further about her ability, her grays eyes--'it must be been optical. However that wouldn't account for her speed. Or did she teleport?'No those little bangs must be something. She's fast let's just leave it at that.' Josiah pulled the blade from his mouth and created a barrier around his hand to encase the sword in his hand.

He swung the sword like a brigand, knowing very little with it--however his ability would allow him to be covered. He raised his free arm and another glint of light happened, to him he thought
'I want a shield', and his ability gave it to him. Josiah believe the sword was nothing special, but the little annoyance she had gained when he took it was something that showed value towards the metal weapon

"You're quick--really fast even. If it was an element you'd be using that to close the distance. So you're moving fast--not using an ability that could be used at range. You're getting close cause ya have to." He panted as he readied his telekinetic shield and Kieran's taken sword. He raised the shield before him and looked at her through the invisible thought-based weaponry

"I think you're just super fast. I just wonder if you'll be able to keep it up--I just imagine how much energy that take out of you" He chuckled and he just threw out a guess, but as he was about to finish his thought she running towards him. Josiah was wondering why she was just running at a normal pace at that moment. Doubting her speed-based abilities

He slammed his own feet into the ground and kept ground--His shield before him with sword in hand. His smirk stayed there, but the feral eyes of a coyote stared her down with flirtatious and battle loving enjoyment

She slowed her pace as Josiah spoke, her head cocking with a smirk on her face. She should have known not to be so telegraphed with her opponents wrong answers, but she simply couldn't help it. This was all just so ridiculous!

"I have been training since my early days, Josiah," she said, her voice no longer sweet and kind like it had been when her eyes were green. "The real question is, how long will it take for me to get back my weapon? I will admit I am not as skilled as I would like in long ranged combat, but in my experience it does not matter if I can close the distance in little over a millisecond. You do not know how to use that blade," she finally said, her grey optics on him. "When I find out why you chose to use it, it will be the end of you."

Kieran shook her head, her braid slightly moving across her chest, and she demanded her mind to stay in combat and not on the way Josiah was looking at her. She had spoken more than she ever had before whilst fighting, and she wondered if it was because there was no one to burn her, hit her, or stab her for her disobedience, or if it was because she simply liked the boy. The first one to call her a pet name and pat her head. The first real person she had met after leaving her confining home.

Josiah had dropped into an interesting stance, one that almost mirrored hers from the beginning of the duel, and she swung her chain in her left hand in response. If she could simply hook the chain around the weapon, then get around Josiah's neck with her legs, she could easily bring the dagger to his throat and win the point. However, her mind scanned the area, he does not know how to use the blade effectively. Even if he is someone who is an opportunistic fighter, he wouldn't be so confident right now.

Ten seconds, Kieran reminded herself as she looked at all the options. He's smart enough to know that it's possibly speed base, that means he's got something up his sleeve. There was only one way to find out.

Her foot stamped into the ground, the dirt flying and a small crater where she stood being the only thing left there, as she bolted toward Josiah. Getting in close was the only option to see what he could do. It was easy to get around a defense that was so open, and with the dagger still firmly in her grasped left fist to block any attack that she would see coming, she went in for a sharp uppercut to his jaw with her right. If he did not block this somehow, he would surely die. But Kieran was confident enough to know there was something invisible at work here, and she had an inkling of what it could possibly be. The boy wouldn't die, she thought over and over as she catapulted her body upwards. He wouldn't die.

Josiah listened to the woman's explanation of her speed. He wasn't fully trusting of it, however he could say with a matter of fact that she probably could've been trained since she was a small child. Josiah smirked as she mention her weapon that was protected within his hand and barrier. Her admittance to the lacking long range was either honest or humble, Josiah thought it was a mixture of both due to her ability to close the gap between them relatively quick.

He snickered once she vowed to find out why he took it he realized further she sought meaning within actions. It would be easy to assume such a mindset due to her refined measure of fighting, but he wondered how long would she notice his own fighting ability.

"You're welcome to take it" He spoke with a low husk to his voice as he readied his body for the incoming attack. Her quick speed and attack style was formidable, but he believe she would attack with the weapon--As she dashed forward, he did so as well. Keeping his shield up with arm.

He raised his shield as her saw the oncoming attack of the white glove of the woman. The shield glinted further to a spiky riveted form, that collapses around the woman's arm as he attack. He used his barrier to hold her arm in place

As he held her he spun her around and locked her against him by the waist, he began to chuckle with a comment
"You're gonna be beat me, I get that--I just want ya to know that I had fun, with this. It's been nice" He said with a hushed voice as she was close, the the wind shifted, his body bent and he held tightly to the girls stomach like a vice like constriction. He then slammed the girls as he felt backwards into the ground. The ground shook for a bit after the suplex attack, but it wasn't like he cracked the ground, it was a sparring match it was just to show her that he could. He jumped back creating distance between them.

He stood there sword in hand, waiting for her attack--maybe the last one of the match. This fight was killer on his sense, he barely could react to the woman's high speed attacks--and it felt like a losing battle. He had a somber smirk on his face. He wasn't depressed that he lost--he was just wondering if he even was worth being on a team at that point.

Shall I tell you a joke?

Ambiance: Warriors

╔══════════════════════════╗

Kieran's face turned to that of shock when her fist was suddenly caught, as was her other hand, but what appeared to be an invisible shield. The honesty in the boy's hushed voiced would have caused her to blush, if not for the fact that she was soon whistling in the air before her neck and back hit the ground with such force it pushed the air from her lungs. She would have heard her neck snap if she was an ordinary human, and she felt the ground slightly break from the impact, if only a few cracks.

She... lost the round? She was aware of the boy suddenly creating more distance as he jumped back but she lay there, staring up at the sky. For the first time in ten years, she had lost the round. And the damned boy still had her sword.

Getting up slowly, facing away from Josiah, she turned slowly after righting herself as if she felt nothing from the force of the attack. Her pupils were dilated and she spit the metallic tasting red liquid from her mouth as she glared at the boy. This was a sparring match, but as her mind turned to her loss, she became more furious. If her father were there, he would have stopped the fight immediately to scold and beat her. Probably cut open her back so she could feel the pain, the weight, of such an attack. Even the possibility made Kieran angry, her shame washing over her being.

She tightened her gloved hand, her grey orbs on Josiah as he knew what was coming next. Without warning, or even a rev, she was in front of him suddenly, knowing exactly what his ability was now, and as she balled her fist and sent it flying into the invisible barrier, she was barely aware of the protective layer breaking with the first punch.

Kieran was glad she did not use her weapon, taken aback at the next action, as she balled her fist and slammed it into Josiah's unprotected cheek with the force of over 200 pounds. She was sure the barrier had more tenacity than just one shot before it broke, and as the boy went sailing across the greenery, she placed her hands to her lips in horror.

"Oh, gods, Josiah!" Kieran yelled, her eyes suddenly turning to green, and her aura completely changed to that of the Jokester. She ran across the field to him, bending down to make sure he was still alive, and she said, "I-I'm so sorry! Are you okay? Do you wish to hear a joke to relieve your pain!"
