Hello there!Welcome to my menagerie of drawings, sketches, concept art and plain silliness on paper. I don't claim to be a very good artist, but I do try. I may also post some of my mixed media (face painting, costumes) here as well. Feel free to criticize. I could probably use a good smackdown. Click here to visit my DeviantArt page.

"No One Will Know"Pencil/Ink/WIP Inspired by Mandopony's song, " Balloons". I'm working on a colored version, but it's not going as well or as smoothly as I wish it would. The original plan was to have the security guard in the center be gore-tastic while the children remained more ethereal, but I suck at digital coloring and have resigned myself to older-fashioned mediums. It's very difficult to make the gore as striking that way, though, and it's made even more difficult by the fact that I did not ink in the details on the clothing and body before making this scan. Criticism/advice would be appreciated!

The string on the balloon is starting to get faded, so maybe work on that part first.
Maybe have a darker backdrop with the children in lighter clothing, the security guard glowing with some sort of evil presence?

Sifen Yamishi The string on the balloon is starting to get faded, so maybe work on that part first. Maybe have a darker backdrop with the children in lighter clothing, the security guard glowing with some sort of evil presence? The balloon string is supposed to be sort of faded/in and out of view, like a real string. The security guard is not supposed to be evil. He is in the same situation as the children, simply newer to the situation. He's the last piece to the puzzle that helps lead the story to its conclusion. I was thinking about putting the children white and the background black with blood splatter on the floor. After all, that is how they are portrayed in the after-death segments, as shown here. Originally, I was thinking I'd go with black-on-white silhouettes, but I'm liking the white-on-black a bit more the more I consider it. I may do mixed-medium, starting with colored pencil and using software to add the finishing touches and effects.

I love your idea. Maybe you can sell it at an art auction sometime?

Artist Update
OMG I just spent $60 on fashion/costume clothing online, and the majority of it was on ******** AliExpress, of all the suspicious ******** websites... and I still need to get all the materials I need for my next art project sometime this week, and somehow I need to be able to afford a ticket to RealmsCon and one-fourth of a two-night hotel stay despite all this reckless investment...
gonk
The things I do for my passion.

Aristotle Masquerade Mask & Sky Marshal Badge (repaint)There's not much to say the badge, really, but the mask was built from two separate primed plastic masks from Hobby Lobby, sketched and then spray-painted. The rivets are an illusion created with dots of dried glue. All darker details were added with black and metallic copper paint, and all the lighter details were added with antique gold Rub-n-Buff. The pieces are glued together with Tacky Glue adhesive and crossed fingers. The spider holding a sunburst was inspired by Victorian symbolism in jewelry. The spider represented hard work, diligence, and the concept that perseverance and dedication would pay off. He holds aloft the sunburst, a symbol of glory, fame, riches, and success.
