It was another typical day filled with self-loathing and pity for Vinae. It didn't bother him in the slightest - at least not anymore than normal - he was particularly used to it. It was a positive sign that he was moving, at least and not causing meaningless frustration to vent. The day was still young, however and who knew when his mood would take a change. It seemed the smallest things set him off these days. His tail swished idly as he passed tree after tree, shaded from the mid-day sun. He squinted at the harsh light that filtered through and it seemed to give him more of a meaner look than his natural snarl he always seemed to possess.
Vinae's eyebrow twitched and he scoffed. Gods, even the sun threatened to set him off. He took a deep breath and stopped under a large oak the filtered most of the sun. It was cool and he allowed himself a break to try and calm down.

With the sun at its peak and the wind on her side, Detritus could not help curb the grin on her face. It was the perfect opportunity to hunt for a meal, all she had to do was wait for something to make the unfortunate decision to move and cast a target with their flickering shadow. And while she wasn't known for her patience, she had a hefty confidence in her endurance. With this in mind, she continued her flight, tilting in a wide circle to stay in the zone of open fields.
It wasn't long before her wish was granted. Just there, a few meters ahead and to her left, was a rabbit leaping from one shrub to the next. Perfect. Sweeping her leathery wings closer to her torso, the mare began her plummet to the ground, eyes leering and focused on her target. The one that had just now noticed her form shining against the sunlight, and making a mad dash of escape to the tree line.

Vinae heard the rustling of the bushes and turned this way and that until he finally found the culprit - a rabbit, frantic and scared running for safety. He licked his lips and took a step forward to claim his dinner but paused at the last second. Something had already frightened the rabbit which meant there was a predator near by. He snarled, tail swishing in a cat-like manner. Glancing up at the sky - he noticed the dark figure diving straight towards him.
Wings. He spat, pacing and stomping his hooves. It was the only thing he noticed - wings of leather like the ones he lacked. His snarl deepened and he readied himself.
Nyhility sorry for delay. stupid work.
