Role play between -CrossroadsQueen- and iiMiquet.

Story:

Twenty years have past since World War IV. The world has settled into a quiet utopia. Hunger, war and the other ravages of the world have all but disappeared. Clean air now fills the atmosphere, as the world is now powered entirely by wind and sun. People ride bikes and travel by bullet-fast railways. Nature, while once in jeopardy after the Third World War, has been preserved and restored. The world is simply on its way to perfection. People no longer have doubts about their leaders and have strong faith in everything they are told to do. Until a rogue creature, female in form, appears on the streets one day. She is dressed in rags, her features unlike any others. These people are shocked by what they see. They question her, but she speaks to no one, a mere wreck. What secrets does she have hidden about their so-called perfect society?

The streets were different than she'd left them. They'd been... so dark and crummy. Everyone looked the same. They didn't used to. Individuality had been taken. Jumpsuits, everywhere. Skin-tight jump suits in an array of colors. No one was fat. Every person's hair was uniform- females, kept long; males, kept short. No one had overly individualized tattoos or piercings- in fact, they were scarce at all. All of these things were shocking for the young woman. She looked nothing like anyone else- what with her tattoos and partially shaved head, as well as her ratty, torn clothing. Bandages littered her body- in the crook of each arm, on her wrists, neck and forehead. She stood out terribly. But it didn't matter. All that mattered to the girl was that someone listen to her. Anyone, really. Someone had to know. Everyone had to know, in the end. But she also needed a safe place. She needed someone that she could trust. But would she be able to trust anyone?

The dark-haired girl ran along the sidewalk, her bare feet dirty and cut up. "You people don't understand! They're lying to you! You don't know what's happening! You're blind!" she screamed, spittle flying from her mouth. Her blue eyes were wide and wild. She moved towards a woman, who promptly turned and walked quickly in the other direction. The foreign girl latched onto a man's arm, looking up at him. She couldn't have been taller than five feet, four inches, and her wrists were smaller around than a bottle. "Please, you've got to listen to me!" she pleaded, crying out as he shook her off and walked away. Why was no one listening to her? Tears began to form in her eyes, her hands shaking. She fell to her knees, putting her bandaged hands to her face. "Pl-please... Someone... Just help me," she whispered, leaning against the side of a building. People passed by her with disgusted looks.

After a bit, she had seemed to composed herself and rose to her feet. Men and women glanced at her but said nothing. She began to walk, her feet moving slowly and aimlessly. As she moved further into the city, people began to stop her and question her. She didn't speak. Tears had dried on her face, though the salt remained on her cracked lips. She flinched when anyone touched her, her eyes glazed and lost. The city seemed to call to her- and while, deep in her mind, she knew she needed to run away from it, she couldn't. Control over her body was deep out of her reaches.

Come up to meet you, tell you I'm sorry
You don't know how lovely you are
I had to find you, tell you I need you
Tell you I'll set you apart

"Nerd? I prefer the term intellectual bad-ass."

It was just another boring and ordinary day for the odd Mr. James Justice Hendricks. Everyone in the small city he lived in was the same, same hair cuts, same jumpsuits, same style cars. The male tried his best to stand out like a sore thumb, but people looked at him funny when he did, even his so called friends. They teased him, as his parents had once done. But they never understood the need the male felt to stand out and to be different. He didn't have thousands of tattoos or piercings, he had two or three tattoos and not a single piercing. But his personality and the way he sometimes wore his jumpsuits made people stare at him funny. But today had started off to be just another day for James, he never thought things would change, he thought he'd remain stuck in this city that would judge him for wanting more, for being different, and for asking all the "wrong" questions. It was a beautiful day, and so instead of using his car to get around like everyone did, unless they walked, James had a better idea. "Were did I put it?.... I'm such a mess... I can't even keep my things in order...." he said to himself as he rummaged through the small garage of his house, that looked like every other house on the block. The male was throwing things off the shelves and looking around everywhere in desperate search of something.

The sound of Annabell's voice scared him "What exactly are you looking for?" her voice questioned from the door way. James jumped, the back of his light brown head hitting the bottom of the shelf above him hard. He winced in pain before slowly backing away and rubbing his head "My skateboard... I can't remember where I put it..." he explained as he placed things back on the shelf, Annabell would have his head if he left it laying around the floor of the garage. "Come on James... Just tale your car! that's what you bought it for anyways.." Annabell exclaimed from the doorway, her hands flying up in a gesture of anger before she turned and wadded back into the house. "You wouldn't understand... No one here seems to.." he thought to himself as he looked around and spotted something. James rushed towards the front of the garage and found his skateboard hidden under a bunch of garbage bags full of something that wasn't garbage. "Yes! Finally found it!" he said excitedly as he jumped up and headed for the house. "Bye Annabell, catch you later!" he called back into the house as he made his way out the door. Once he was on the sidewalk, James placed the board on the floor and with a deep breath, he got on and pushed off the ground with one foot, the board gaining speed with every push "Whooooo!" he screamed happily as he skateboarded through the streets.

James was strolling down one of the side walks when he noticed a bunch of people with sour looks on their faces. Really?... It's just a skateboard... Why are these people so boring?.... he thought to himself with a roll of his light blue eyes. What the male failed to realize was, the people with the sour looks on their faces, and the hushed whispers weren't about him and his skateboard. They were about someone else, someone he was about to find. Doing his best to ignore the people around him, he continues to skateboard down the side walk, weaving through the thick seas of bodies, seeing a few kids look at him with curious eyes. His smile never faltered, nor did the looks he got weaken his spirit in anyways, he was used to this. The male looked off to the side, seeing a group of people gathered That's strange... Wonder what's going on.. he thought to himself, his eyes trained around the group. While James was so busy being the curious cat he was, he failed to see the girl that was walking, face away from him, right in front of him. Turning at the last second, his eyes widened as instinct took over. "Watch out!" he said as he jumped off his skateboard and grabbed for it, falling forward and tumbling for a few feet. James landed awkwardly on his side, a pain shooting through the same side. He slowly got up, after assessing the damage he'd done to himself before he looked up at the girl "Hey Wha-.." his words were cut away when he looked at the state she was in.
