"She is the younger sister of one of the most popular girls in high school. Her sister is fun, outgoing and a party animal. Everyone loves her. She, on the other hand, is a quiet and scared bookworm, who'd never leave the house to party. Her sister is now a senior, and she's just entering her sophomore year. So what happens to her when her sister's best friend begins to take a hankering for her? In the beginning, he/she only means to bring her out of her shell! Taking her to parties, convincing her to ditch, simply trying to bring her out of her shell... They become good friends. Could there be more?"

Carter rolled the blunt between his fingers, looking out the window of the car as they sat in the school parking lot. His brother had a knack for showing up to places early, and he didn't really mind. During the school day, he'd be in his friend group, bouncing back and forth between people. It was nice to just sit and relax in the car while he waited for everyone else to arrive to school, whether it be by bus or car.

Now, he was a senior. It seemed like time had flown right by his eyes instead of actually experiencing it. Honestly, he didn't know how he was a senior with all of the stupid things he would do on a daily basis. It was known that he was a class ditcher, never turned in assignments, and frequently got suspended. He was too much of a partier; never one to sit down and take life seriously. That's where it always got him in a lot of trouble, both with the law and with the school.

He rolled down the window and puffed out a breath of smoke. Thankfully, the parking lot was empty, besides for a few cars that belonged to janitors and a few other early students. Carter turned his head and looked at his brother for a moment, giving a short grin before putting the blunt to his lips and taking a quick drag before pulling out his phone.

He pulled up his contact for his best friend, Kendall, and gave her a quick text.

Good morning sunshine. ;D Are you going to be attending your first day of senior year?

"Kendall, please. Come on. We're going to be late!" Clover's voice rang through the wooden door. Kendall grimaced, rubbing her temples. She didn't want to go to school, but she knew Carter was going to give her endless s**t if she didn't. The redhead shook her head, taking a drag of her own blunt. "I'll be out in a bit, Clove! Let me be!" she hollered, her head pounding. The night before had been a rough one. She'd decided to end the summer with a blast before school started. Drinking that much the night before school was not a smart thing to do. Drinking that much any night was not a smart thing to do. Clover had come to pick her up, and she'd vomited all over her little sister's favorite Chuck Taylors. "I'm not waiting for you!" the blonde girl yelled back, her usually composed face red and angry. Kendall knew that she needed to be to school early for orientation of her photography class.

Kendall heard her sister storm off, instantly regretting her words. She flushed her unfinished blunt down the toilet, standing off the bathroom floor and stretching. She quickly got dressed and applied the little makeup she wore, slipping on her beanie and running out the door. "Clove! I'm ready!" she called into the empty house, frowning when no response came. A car started outside. Kendall grabbed her bag and ran out the front door, waving as the car began to pull out of the driveway. "Clover!" After a moment of reluctance, the blonde pulled it to a stop and rolled down the window. "You owe me a new pair," Clover muttered with a sigh, unlocking the doors. She watched as her sister climbed in, rubbing her temples. "Next time you decide to make a stupid decision, call Carter, not me," she muttered dejectedly, backing out of the driveway and heading out.

As they drove to school, Kendall glanced down at her phone when it went off. Carter. She rubbed her forehead and texted him back. to: carter || from: kendall || message: on our way. get me a blunt ready. Her head pounded as they drove. "Don't tell Carter about last night, okay?" the redhead asked carefully, gauging her sister's reaction. "I wasn't planning on it," Clover replied, glancing at her sister and giving a small smile. Blue eyes met green ones and Kendall smiled, knowing everything was going to be okay now.

As they reached the school, pulling up near one familiar vehicle in the lot, Kendall was quick to climb out. "Your orientation doesn't start for a while. Wanna hang out for a bit?" she asked her sister, grinning smugly. Clover's face turned red. The older girl gave a laugh, waving at her sister. "Never mind, then. Be all by yourself," she teased, waving and closing the door behind her. She saw Carter's head sticking out a window. "Hey, sexy!" she called, grinning from ear to ear at him.
