The Demon Wasteland is not a place to be trifled with. Located in the Land of Iron, The Demon Wasteland is host to many hostile territories of thugs, rogues, creatures and climates. Everything in this particular territory looks dead, gray and barren. There are greenish gray pits of acid littering the area are signs of clear danger and the dead tumbleweeds promptly disintegrate when they tumble in. Following the map, the group reaches a dark cave, lit only by little lightning bugs, the seemingly only things living in this cold climate.
The Temperture is Freezing, a harsh -3 Degrees, a terrible change from the hot, humid Mist.
The Time is Dusk, night is falling fast but you're still able to see with what little sun remains and the lightning bugs around.

Tozuki Yukimura "Stay out of my way." | Nidaime Mizukage | Kirigakure | Tozuki of the Mist | 2100/2260 | Hyoton | Dual-Element Ninjutsu | Sealer | Suiton | Fuuton | Several hours of walking in silence, allowing the Genin to chat among themselves if they wanted, and the party of four had entered a gray landscape. Tozuki pulled out the map curiously and looked around for the cave on the map. He tucked it away and raised a hand. "Be on your guard. There are pools of acid all around us." He warned, pointing out the various bubbling pits, one of them melting a dry tumbleweed that rolled into it's bubbly depths. Walking carefully, Tozuki kept his eyes open for anything that might pose more of a threat. It was yet another half hour before he found the cave. "It's going to get harder to see and more dangerous, so I'll go first." He said quietly, face looking of concern as he entered the cave, pressing his hand to the wall entrance. He created a golden, shining symbol on the wall before it faded away and he began to proceed into the cave depths.

They can easily run on high-ropes, even doing somersaults and back-flips on a narrow beam while running alone without having to exert chakra to keep balance. They are also capable of running at least five feet up a wall before they need to exert chakra.

[₦] It had been a while since they left Kiri and the landscape had changed very much from the normal. The barren wasteland was grey and flat nothing like the murky mist that they had come from. Stopping just a moment from the Kage while his hand reached up speaking back to them Natsu stared forward. They had moved to the frontal facing of a cave entrance, following behind Natsu slowly stepped glancing around for any sudden drops in the terrain they were moving through not to mention an sign of traps that could have been laid. His mind racing now thinking to himself speaking in a muddled whisper he spoke to them as a group. "So...you really think it's here? The Kubikiribōchō?" He asked his mind wondering some while he waited to see if anyone would humor his question. Natsu was dying to find out, he could feel adrenaline coursing thorughout his body ready to act upon a moments notice. The Kubikiribōchō, one of the legendary seven swords of the mist, stories tell of it's secrets and its legend, Natsu had to believe it was here, had to see it, touch it...have it.
Makoto kept her eyes on their surroundings during their travels, watching for danger. It was her first time leaving the village so she was also taking in the sights. Even the air was different in the way it felt and tasted. Her experience thus far wasn't so bad...until they arrived in the Demon Wastelands. The plants were almost if not completely dead and there were acid pits scattered about. But that wasn't the worst part of it. No, it was the freezing cold climate that had the young girl shivering. Why didn't Lord Tozuki warn them so they could prepare in advance? Probably cause the cold never bothe- "Atchoo! Ughh..." the kunoichi groaned as she rubbed her arms. She could only imagine how Hawthorn was faring with just his vest. Oh and then it was getting dark which decreased visibility, making it harder to look out for acid puddles. It took a while before they stood before a dark and eeire cave. The Mizukage went in first, tagging a seal on the wall. "I-I sure ho-hope so..." she replied to Natsu's question.
xxxxxDancer kept looking around as they made their way towards their ultimate goal. Soon enough the sights began to change and took on a slate-colored hue. He noticed the Mizukage pull out what looked to be a map, but wasn't close enough to him to get a real good look. As the man's arm raised, and he alerted them to the bubbling puddles, Dancer grimaced. Like he'd even want to try stepping in one of those things? The young Hawthorn's body shook, a shiver jolting through his body in an attempt to keep his internal temperature high enough to combat the cold stinging his bare flesh. Makoto sneezed, causing the boy to jump a bit from the unexpected noise. Giving her a raised brow, he waited to see if she'd do it again before moving his eyes away. It wasn't too much longer before Tozuki had them stop in front of a cave entrance and warned them of the hazardous environment they were about to venture in to. Dancer didn't miss the strange look on the man's face as he went further in.
Green eyes watched curiously at the man's hand as something glowed before fading. Was he leaving a bread trail for them to get out later? Dancer found himself shocked by the sound of Natsu's voice coming from in front of him. So, the boy could speak after all. He didn't get a chance to answer his question before Makoto did. The teen simply grunted his agreement to Makoto's statement as he brought up the back of their little ragtag team of adventurers.

About a minute had passed since the Kiri ninja have discovered the cave and ventured inside in hopes to find the Kubikiribōchō. As the leader of the squad had placed some type of seal on the entrance it had caught Nomuo's eye. Knowing that no more help was sent to aid them in their efforts to find the weapon as well he did what he always did and launched an attack. Nomuo lived by a rash set of standards, "If they are not ally, its just a matter of time before I kill them." Wasting no time to elaborate on this code he flung his flying guillotine at the party of four. This weapon was nearly designed just for this type of perfect attack. Spanning the entire entrance of the cave it would spin like a buzz saw aimed directly at their abdomens. Water could be seen laced around the edge of the incoming blade, adding to the sharpness of the weapon. If it stayed its course unnoticed, It would surely slice them in two.
There seemed to be someone behind the large stature of the man they now faced but it was unsure of anything else.

Tozuki Yukimura "Stay out of my way." | Nidaime Mizukage | Kirigakure | Tozuki of the Mist | 2100/2260 | Hyoton | Dual-Element Ninjutsu | Sealer | Suiton | Fuuton | All at once, several things happened as soon as the weapon was thrown. Tozuki got a gut feeling in the back of his head, warning him of incoming danger, At the same time, glinting in the darkness from the dim lightning bug lighting, he could see a blade incoming fast. He could feel the airwaves being sliced from it. Without wasting any time, Tozuki made a single seal with his right hand before he threw out both of his hands, causing a dome of ice to erupt around them from the ground. It protected the group but unsure of the power of this unknown foe, Tozuki poured a bit more chakra into the dome. Sounds of creeping frost and a visible layer of the frost appeared on the dome. "Prepare yourselves." Tozuki growled low, glaring forward at the Ice Dome. He was not happy to have others looking for their weapon.

[₦] Indeed it was cold he hadn't expected the place to be like this, mostly dim and dark with a bit of dusty barren waste. But cold, no. His body was cold and they had entered into the cave only a few seconds. Makoto had answered his question and the other male Dancer had grunted in approval of her answer. Natsu believed that they had been with each other before, well maybe on a mission or they knew each other. But as they continued into the dim cave a swift burst of wind could be heard and before Natsu knew it the entire group became encased in a dome. The large casing formed over their heads as a frosted layer of newly formed ice flowed more so over the dome. Natsu glanced for only a second as it seemed that was the time they were given before the Mizukage spoke to him. Reaching down into his pouch along his leg his hands gripped onto a kunai pulling it out and holding it in reverse. Looking around Natsu stared at the white casing that had covered them. "Where did it come from?" He asked. Maybe having not seen the weapon itself that had flown through the air towards them he figured something had to of happened for the Mizukage to protect them like this.
Makoto was hoping the inside of the cave was warmer than the outside; the genin moving to get in quickly. Surprise, not by much. With the Mizukage leading the way, she figured they'd have no trouble with ambushes ahead...hopefully. Her attention was focused more on the rear (not because of Dancer), in case someone came in behind them. She hadn't noticed something was amiss until she saw ice walls quickly surrounding the group. It was an impressive jutsu, no doubt the work of Lord Tozuki, but she had no time to gawk over it. The sound of something hitting the dome made it clear they were under attack. The Mizukage informed them it was time to face the enemy to which she nodded silently. She had her senbon at the ready and began building up her Futton chakra in the pit of her stomach. In this situation, she needed to be wary of her surroundings and careful with engaging. Makoto needed to support the team and keep herself out of harms way, being the medical ninja and all. The kunoichi hadn't a clue what hit them and for all they knew it was a diversion of some kind. But she was certain the attack came from deeper within the cave, trusting she didn't see anything from behind. Her guard was up as she faced forward, ready for whatever came next.
xxxxxSomething was nagging at the Genin as they ventured further in. "Someone else is here," he said aloud just before the Mizukage sent up a dome of ice to cover the squad. Dancer bit into his lower lip deeply; punishment for not noticing what that feeling he had before was. He didn't have time to mentally barrate himself further before the Mizukage instructed them to get themselves ready for a fight. He cursed beneath his breath when he realized he had no sort of Jutsu that would allow him to fight someone that could try and chop his head off like he used to do to his cousin's dolls. Looking down at his hands, he realized there was something that could be useful. With his Delicate Stitching, he could attempt to seize control of the man's movements by sewing together his arms and legs while the others dealt with him accordingly. The only issue was getting close enough to do so. For now, he had no choice but to back up and wait.
Happy he and the ANBU woman Karu had ran across the flack jacket earlier, he zipped it up over the black leather vest he had on already. With double the protection, he felt at least a little better about his situation. When Natsu's voice reached his ears, he pointed towards the inner part of the cave. While the ice was far too thick to see through, he could sense the chakra spike further inside. "There's something out there. For now, I only detect two things, and they aren't even a spec compared to the hellfire I sensed when going towards Konoha earlier," he informed both Natsu, and Mokoto. Still unaware that sensing people's chakra wasn't a common occurance, he wasn't sure whether or not the Kage was able to sense people's chakra or not, and figured there was no point in informing him since he'd already know. Then again, he did almost have them run into... whatever it was that rammed into his ice dome.
On second thought, Dancer bent down and scrounged up as much dirt, damp or not, and smeared the front of his clothing with it. Sending a spark of his Chakra through it, he watched it harden into a solid plate of armor over top of his flak jacket and vest. If something pierced through that much protection, it would give whoever it was props on their ability to poke him with sharp objects. With his green eyes glinting in the darkness of the firefly-lit dome of cold they were all stuck in, he pulled his long braids back and used the rubber band sitting pretty on his wrist in order to tie them back out of his way. The teen looked like a tribal warrior instead of a Ninja, but hey, the look worked damn well on him. When he was happy with his work, he settled himself to the right of the Kage, and just a little further back. With no real ability to attack, he was useless in this situation. But from what he sensed, he didn't think the Mizukage would need much time to get rid of this weak light.
Jutsu Used Stone Breast Plate [D] By taking earth and rubbing it on their chest and stomach, the earth is hardened into a stone breast plate that adds extra protection to the user. The breastplate is held intact through the chakra molded into it.

The ice dome surrounded all of his targets at the same time. Nomuo was displeased that no limbs were lost from his attack. Turning his head to his partner he spoke in a very primitive manor."Little men hide in Ice, Ice stronger than rock." A much smaller man in stature emerged from the shadows, responding to his hulkish friend. "No s**t! Did we not talk about stating obvious things? It's very annoying. You wonder why I don't take you anywhere." Several torches along the wall sudden engulfed in flames slightly lighting the entrance path into the cave. "Parden my moronic partner here. But you are the Mizukage no? Along with some riff raff from the village." Regardless he had his orders.

"Nothing personal, but the weapon that lies ahead is highly desired within my clan." Extended his arm a small fiery orb emitted from his hand and began traveling towards them at a steady but not very fast pace. The much larger man looked to the other "Now?" The smaller man shot a glare then stomped his foot in rage. "Of course now! For the love of...." The hulkish man took both of his arms and thrusted them into the ground. Very quickly a dragon like serpent emerged from where he struck. Bronze in color yet cracks with lava looking bits keeping it together. The dragon caught quickly up to the floating orb chomping down onto it causing a large explosion of fire. The entire dragon became covered in a blazing hell fire. The rest of the explosion raced towards the group. It would do little against the ice dome but surely make most men squirm.

Tozuki Yukimura "Stay out of my way." | Nidaime Mizukage | Kirigakure | Tozuki of the Mist | 1900/2260 | Hyoton | Dual-Element Ninjutsu | Sealer | Suiton | Fuuton | A glowing from outside the ice dome lit up the cave around them. Tozuki lowered his arms and the ice around them crumbled and fell, revealing the enemy before them. A hulking figure and his accomplice were standing before them, just as Dancer had mentioned that they weren't a spec compared to the chakra in Konoha. That mean's they weren't quite Kage level but could be potentially dangerous. From the exchanges between them, it was clear the smaller one was in charge. "I am Tozuki Yukimura, Mizukage of Kirigakure and Mizu no Kuni. By being here for this sword, I reserve the right to kill you to reclaim what is rightfully mine." He said threateningly, pulling out a scroll and looping a string from his pocket around his finger.
It was a flurry of action as a fire orb traveled to them slowly and the largeman made a dragon composed of a lava like dragon. Tozuki made several one handed hand seals and stuck both of his hands forward, one hand opening the scroll while he did. He unleashed two dragons of ice that encircled each other before becoming a large tornado of black ice. He reinforced the dragons with the same frost that made the technique stronger as it met with the hell fire collaboration technique.
As the blizzard happened, Tozuki summoned forth his blade, Nuibari. He pulled the blade from the scroll slowly before he placed the scroll in it's place, all rolled up. In one hand, Tozuki was wielding the Legendary Nuibari, holding it forward at the enemies. In the other hand, was a simple yoyo made of a sturdy steel. Having stopped the technique with an S+ rank of his own and now properly equipped to deal with the threat of these relic hunters.

[₦]The large ninja had made him self known after the encasing of ice had disappeared. Natsu's amber orbs stared at him as he appeared. No wait there was a second one, he showed up just after the large one. And considering the way he was speaking to them and towards what he assumed was his partner he was the one leading their little expedition. But Natsu didn't have time to think long, after the formalities the large ninja went into action carrying on in an angry manner. It seemed he was easily enticed and angered, but was that really the case. Anything Natsu watched as the man moved his hands focusing towards the ground before plunging them into the ground itself, watching Natsu took a step back his hand still gripping along the kunai that he was holding backwards the ground rumbled and finally awoken the large earth dragon.
It ripped itself from the ground and Natsu just watched glancing between the large one adn the small ninja and finally back to the Mizukage who at the time of the large ninja moving had already began flashing handsigns. Yes that was right, Natsu needed to act. Quickly Natsu under protection of the Mizukages own jutsu and the enemies he quickly flashed his own hand signs looking at the two of them. 'Raimei Wana Fuu (Thunder Trap Seal)' His body jumped back once more though this time his arm reared back and flung forward. The Kunai went flying in through the air right after the twister like technique the Mizukage had used. Once the Mizukages attack had disperse the other attack the Kunai would be seen flying towards the larger male. It wasn't a real offensive attack but it indeed looked like one. Natsu was hoping that the larger ninja would knock away the kunai, that or be stuck by it. Either way it would generate the same result. When the Kunai that he threw comes in contact with something, even if it's he catches it the Kunai is suppose to generate a loud thundering sound hopefully distracting them long enough for them to make a move.
The Mizukage's dome dropped and revealed their attacker, a giant man clad in armor who gave off an intimidating aura despite his face being slightly obscure. At least, he seemed that way until he spoke to another man whose presence went undetected and also dwarfed the giant. All of a sudden, the tension dissipated as the two conversed with each other. "Who are these guys?" the girl wondered aloud as torches lit up on the walls beside them. She glanced at the spontaneous fires while the shorter man of the duo addressed Lord Tozuki. Wait, who was he calling riff raff? Makoto leered at the man as he cut the dialogue short and began attacking with a shimmering ball of fire. His larger companion performed a combination after requesting confirmation, the enemy creating a massive dragon of earth and fire. There was no way she could counter something like that but then again, she didn't have to either with Lord Tozuki present.
The man created a massive black tornado of ice dragons to counter their jutsu; the collision destroying both of the impressive techniques. The kunoichi's eyes locked onto the sword in Tozuki's hand, recognizing it as one of the Seven Swordsman's swords she had once seen in her textbook. 'Which one was that again...?' her mind wandered while waiting for the dust to clear so to speak and literally. But Natsu moved first, throwing a single plain old kunai at the enemy. She didn't know what he was trying to accomplish with that and didn't know how much help her boil release would be at the moment. If she wasn't careful with it, she could end up injuring her comrades. So instead she threw three senbon behind the kunai, hoping it'd help in some way or another.
xxxxxIt didn't seem like the Mizukage's warning of imminent deathly murder had any effect on the two as they created a massive lava dragon only composed of nightmares and children's tears. Well, not really, but that was all Dancer could come up with. Elemental Jutsu wasn't exactly his thing seeing as how he couldn't ever get the hang of it. Only reason he found out how to work his Breast Plate of Wonders was because Nobue decided to create a spider web of shocker strings that caught him off guard. Either way it worked, but still, he'd be lucky to figure out how to make a ball of dirt, never mind creating a dragon of reverent terror.
A slight flurry of motion by the Mizukage snatched his attention and he witnessed Tozuki creating two large dragons of ice. With the darkness of the cavern they were inside, he could swear they had an ominous darkness about them, but it was far too dim for him to tell clearly. The sound of sizzling steam echoed as the Blizzard of Dragons met with the fearsome Lava Dragons heading for them. As much as he hated to admit it, the heat that emanated off the collision was a welcome distraction from the bitter cold in the air. The teen made a mental memo to start carrying a jacket around for this type of thing. If the Mizukage knew where he was going he could have at least given them a heads up on the whole 'hey you might freeze to death before we even get there' thing.
His eyes were still on the Mizukage as he watched the young man withdraw a sword he had gotten to hold in his own two hands back in the village. He felt a p***k of happiness to see it again, and only hoped the Mizukage could show them all how to properly use such a magnificent piece of history and masterfully made metal. "Nuibari..." he said excitedly to himself from just behind Makoto's shoulder. While he couldn't hear what questions were going on in Makoto's head, he seemed to have perfect timing with his little exclamation. He backed up some when the female sent senbon towards the enemy just after Natsu's own attack. Unlike them, he knew his actions would be useless and futile at this point, and waited in the back like a good little Genin who didn't know his left from his right. Which actually, Dancer didn't know that either.
Jutsu In Use Stone Breast Plate [D] By taking earth and rubbing it on their chest and stomach, the earth is hardened into a stone breast plate that adds extra protection to the user. The breastplate is held intact through the chakra molded into it.
