Oh, look! A lerim! She'd bet Thorn had never seen one of those! Of course they were rather quick and well-armored, but she didn't plan to hurt it, just catch it! The young monk got down on all fours and began to creep toward the creature. The lerim sat by the bank of the pool, completely unaware of the woman stalking it. Ime was no hunter, of course, no tracker, and so she made it only a few steps before a leaf crunched beneath her palm. The lerim perked and turned to see a rather large blue creature coming after it, and it turned to try and run. It took a moment for Ime to push herself and regain her footing but then she was after the creature, chasing it through the mud and stone. Of course they were fast, she knew they were fast, but she had a plan. If she could somehow "corner" it, she'd bet it'd be much easier to get a handle on. So for this reason she began to run around the creature rather than toward it, trying to guide it not further out on the rocks but back to the pond it may or may not call home. Considering lerim were not generally herded for any real reason, the creature was falling into Ime's trap rather easily. The two returned to the pond and the lerim splashed in only so far as the bank and hid its head, apparently assuming that its pursuer would call it a day. Instead, Ime toed off her shoes, jumped in the water after it and plucked it from the pond with pride.
"Hey, Thorn! Look!"
