Personality: Ozul is a very macabre and mostly solitary individual, often times disappearing for a few days and then returning while severely injured. Then after a few days of healing he has made a complete recovery and starts to do things around the city for a couple days and disappears again, starting the cycle over. He repeats this a couple times then stays for a couple of weeks t help students. Then when he has finished that he will start his cycle again to get stronger to achieve his maximum potential. When he is with his close friends he has been known to smile and laugh. He tries a lot to be better than when he was younger and was practically a mute with weird tendencies. When he is in battle he is very focused as well as cold and calculating.He can tell what points are critically crippling on almost any opponent and figure out their weaknesses from battling a short while with them.
History: Ozul was born to Oliver and Mary Griswold. They lived in a large house in the dark forest near Death City. His father was a blade-variety deathscythe and his mother was an ordinary human who worked as a nurse. He often remembers how much his parents loved him and them coming home and telling him stories. His father recounting tales of battle and triumph or an occasional cautionary tale of failure, and his mother recounting the stories of those who she had treated and even some of her own stories. These tales fascinated him and he started taking fighting and stealth lessons from his father and lessons on medicine and treatments from his mother.
That is how things went for him and his family until his tenth birthday when he came home from the store to his mother being ripped apart by a pack of evil kishin eggs. He ran as fast as he could from his home towards Death City to get his father, but he was being followed by the monsters. They advanced upon him and he ran as fast as he could, but to no avail. One particularly foul kishin egg jumped towards him and Ozul fought back as well as he could. Luckily his father was on his way home when he saw what was happening, and rushed to his son's aid. He fought valiantly but when he was taunted by the foul beings about how delicious his wife and her soul was he lost control and the last of the monsters inflicted a fatal wound upon Oliver, but in the process of doing so was struck down by Ozul, who then spit on it's corpse and rushed to his father's aid.
Ozul was devastated to find that he was too late to save his father and mourned both of his parents passing for weeks. He devoured the kishin eggs' souls and started his tally that his father had taught him abut. He read tome upon tome of a variety of topics ranging from his mother's old medical indexes and his fathers strategy books, to books about magic, special abilities, stealth and deception, and more. When he turned 14 he applied to the DWMA and was the top of his classes but his thirst for knowledge and strength was not satisfied. He would hunt down rare tomes for Lord Death and seek out rumored sorcerers to try to make sense of their Grimoires and get stronger. One day he hopes to be able to use Grimoires but as of now he can only read and understand them. He graduated from the DWMA and became a Deathscythe, and returned to his old home in the Dark forest, rebuilding it and furnishing it with all sorts of protective countermeasures.
He currently acts as a sort of guidance consular for the students of the DWMA and DMA,often times seeking out the students with the most troubles or having the hardest time in their classes as recommended by the Shinigami and tests them at his residence. To even start their "remedial" lessons with him they have to reach him in his heavily safe-guarded home, with the traps and dangers attuned to the skill and abilities of the student to push them but not kill them to build their confidence in their own abilities. No two student's experience is the same because each is fine tailored to the individual themselves, not just the base skill and abilities of the student, but their personal fears and interests as well.

----Abilities and Techniques Information----
+Dual Weapon
- Can be split into two complete Katara for dual wielding. Can wield himself in dire situations but this causes a heavy strain on himself and he is not nearly as effective as he could be. He has been working on this ability for a long while trying to extend the duration of his ability to wield himself so he can work independently as a weapon without a wielder. Since becoming a Deathscythe the duration has increased dramatically. This does not include the ability of almost all bladed weapons to protrude blades from their own body (he can do this but finds it even less effective as wielding himself).
+Stealth Mastery
- Ozul is a master of stealth, so much so that most assassins are put to shame when compared to his stealth.
+Deeper into Shadow
- Allows Ozul, and anyone who is making contact with him or someone else who is making contact with him, to disappear perfectly into the shadows to avoid detection. When Ozul performs this, and is deeply focused, his soul is nearly undetectable except for very minuscule amounts that only one who is very efficient with Soul Detect can detect him. This is very exhausting for him and he cannot do this when hiding others as well, save those who can hide their soul as well or use Soul Protect very (and I mean very) efficiently. He has trained very, very hard to use this ability at this level.
+Poison and Medicinal Expert
- Ozul is an expert in the fields of poison and medicine. Often during school he was his team's medic and scout, both spying on the enemy to get an upper-hand in upcoming battles and treating his allies wounds while in the field. He has studied this topic since he was very young and has practiced a lot in addition to often pouring through tome after tome and medicinal index after medicinal index learning as much as he could about these fields. Additionally, with his experience and knowledge, Ozul is able to quickly recover from near fatal states in a matter of days and often times heals small wounds in a matter of hours by focusing on the recovery and medically treating himself.
+Soul Resonance
- Effect varies and intensifies depending on who is wielding him. The most common effect is to enlarge and release a powerful mass of energy. The stronger the meister and the resonance, the larger and stronger the mass of energy and sometimes the effect can be enhanced to cause elemental damage such as fire, poisoning, etc but this is very rare and often times would require the element to be present. For example, if there was a fire then there would be an increased chance for the attack to be augmented with fire and the larger the fire, the greater the chance.
+Detect Weakness
- Ozul can detect parts of an opponents body that would critically cripple them and their abilities. Also, Ozul can determine the best way to fight and defeat an opponent by battling with them for an undetermined period of time, granted, that is implying that he is able to fight for that long without becoming unable to fight, be it paralyzation, unconsciousness, or even death.
