Zinnia and Zyk were ready for anything! They confidently took their places on the field. Together, with Lenore, they would grow stronger and unstoppable. No one would stand in their way; not Team Rocket, and not even the gym leaders! Once they'd finished training, she and Lenore would be the true pokemon masters together.

Lenore entered the stadium with Urabrask at her side, and she stepped into the trainer's box. She gave a confident grin to Urabrask, which the shedinja noted silently as being kind of strange for her. "Do your best, Ura."
The shedinja eyed her curiously before floating down to the concrete field below.

Zyk was happy to start things quickly. He dove for his opponent at top speed.

Urabrask was knocked back by the wing attack, and Lenore quickly called out a command. "Ura, use Night Slash!"
Blood trickled out from his carapace and formed into a lash before racing towards the crobat.

Zyk flinched back as the hardened shell glanced off his body. He returned the attack by attempting to strike Urabrask with his wing.

Zyk hardly seemed to feel the attack. He knew that he could only succeed when Zinnia was watching. He flapped his wings to create a powerful blast of air.

Zyk was knocked out of the air by the blood whip and crashed into the ground.
"Get up, quick!" Zin shouted in alarm. "Wing Attack!"
Zyk rolled onto his stomach and pushed himself into the air, using his quick downstrokes to send another blast of air toward Urabrask.
