Since they had come home, things hadn't quite been the same. There was many a day that Jerarda had missed the quiet, being able to go out and hunt on her own and enjoy the company of her mate. But with three babies all with their own personalities and demands it was quite a shift in nature for the amazon.
Jerarda loved the triplets, there was only on the rare occasion when the girls would be crying or the boy getting into stuff that she would force herself to take a deep breath. Right now though it was amazing how QUICKLY kid grew the triplets were outside, Jerarda was keeping a watchful eye on them as they played. Looking back to the entrance of their home she wondered how Animah was doing with lunch...
Though it was Shima who caught her attention as the little one was attempting to pick up a spitorog she has found.
"Leave it alone Shima, you will get a handful of spikes." She called out a bit on the tired side. This girl..just didn't know the meaning of caution or fear.
Shima: Post 1
Life, was like every other day. Get up see the morning dew on the leaves and then play! Shima loved playing with her sister and brother, it was hard not to and Ma and Mama were always there looking out for them.
Today she was outside, she loved being outside, and she was running around a stick in hand treating it like a spear Jerarda often carried with her.
"Come on keep up!" She shouted to her siblings as she then skidded to a halt spotting something interesting nearby, stick dropped and forgotten instantly she moved over to the rock where a spitorog was sitting causing bubbles to foam at its mouth. Giggling she went to pick it up only to get caught by Ma.
"But...Maaa....." Shima lamented looking to the spitirog who just wanted a hug. "I want to show it to mama!"

Jerami: Post 1
"Wait for me!" Jerami called out, leaving the house, chasing along after his Mother and sister who gotten out before him, the cloth of his 'dress' flapping as he raced along after them. It was a new 'dress' that he'd gotten from his Mama's stash pretty clothing. He'd developed a bit of a habit, and love, for such pretty, brightly colored 'dresses' of late wanting nothing more then to look a pretty as his Mama did. Today's dress was a long sleeved shirt, one that whose neck hold was around chest, just under his arm pits, with the sleeves tied like a fancy belt.
Coming to stand in front of Jerarda he spun around in a circle then looked up at her, "Isn't it pretty, Mom? I love this pretty color!" He said, brushing his hands over it before he turned to look over at Shima, his aqua eyes going a bit wide at the sight of the frog that she was messing with. He went for a moment stock still, then slowly crept forward, as though moving at a painfully slow pace would make it so that the spitorog couldn't see him. Once he was closer to her he looked at the frog, watching it blow bubbles, before he said, "It's... kinda... odd. It's eyes aren't even looking in the same direction, Shima." He whispered it, not wanting the frog to hear for him and think he was insulting it... which he sort of was saying it was odd.
Turning back to Jerarda he waited to see what she thought, she told Shima to leave it alone but the question was would she? Would she leave the frog alone or would she pick it up? Either way he wasn't sure what he thought about the idea of Shima playing with the weird thing. He looked at her and said, "M-Maybe you can leave it and just bring Mama to see it?" He suggested, hoping that would keep her from scooping it up.

Jhana Post 1
Jhana sat on the rock outside of their home tree, watching Shima play with her stick and kicking her own feet before she saw that look in her sister's eyes. She was at it again. She squatted down by something Jhana just couldn't see yet and saw her brother join her.
Her Ma called out words of warning and Jhana knew what had to be done. She pushed herself off of the rock and walked up to the others. "Ma said leave it alone." She whined. "You don't even know what kind of gunk it has on it." She crossed her arms and leaned in low to the spitorog. "You're gonna get warts if you touch it." Her eyes got big at the thought of warts and she shivered in her spot. "Right Ma?" She nodded her head already reaffirming what she thought was true to herself.
Aminah Post 1
Aminah finished putting together the sandwiches for lunch and cutting them into halves. The children were so picky these days, little Jhana wouldn't eat anything unless Aminah could prove where it came from. She sighed and arranged them on the plate before bringing them outside. Just in time to hear the end of the triplets' conversation. She smiled and put a hand lightly on Jerarda's shoulder. "Who's hungry?" Aminah called out.

Jerarda: post 2
Moving from her spot to get a bit closer to where the trio of children had gathered she noted that Shima was basically ignoring her warning, Jerami was once again making dresses out of Animah's shirts and Jhana was trying to get her sister in trouble. What an odd ball of kids they had.
"Warts? I don't think so, but I am mostly concerned about the spikes than anything." Jerarda spoke turning her head as Animah came outside providing food for them much to her relief. "Now leave the poor thing alone you three and come eat. She stated with a nod of her head before turning towards her mate and giving her a wistful smile.
"Shima seems to have discovered a spitorog." She explained, as the creature was still out of veiw.
Shima: post 2 Frowning she gave both her siblings a look before staring at Jerarda a moment. Although warned she wasn't about to let something so neat get away from her. With a boldness that was certain to get her into trouble she ignored Jerami's warning as well her Ma's and Jhana's. Little fingers were had an easy time navigating the countless spikes on the spitorog's back and it didn't even try and get away! Simply foaming bubbles at the mouth as she lifted it off the ground by the arm pits. Turning around all proud she shoved it in the direction of her siblings as if showing off a grand prize.
"Look look! Its making bubbles!" She exclaimed quite cheerfully before mama came out asking if they were hungry. She was STARVING. But with spitorog in tow she tottered her way to Animah to show it off to her. "Look look mama!!"
Jerami's eyes went rather wide before he turned to look at Shima, "W-Warts? Really?" Wrinking his nose he decided that he didn't like the sound of that, "M-Maybe you should leave it alone, Shima, you don't want to get warts!" He didn't like the idea of his poor sisters getting warts, even though he didn't know exactly how bad that affliction was. It just kind of sound gross to him. His worry seemed to lessed though when his mom told them that she didn't think that the spitorog would give Shima warts. Instead she was worried about the spines that the creature was covered in, which he felt was just as bad. Leaving it alone might be for the best.
Turning his attention his Mama he gave a smile, "Oh! Hear that Jhana, Shima, Mama is asking if we are hungry." He said, more then ready to go back with her to get something to eat. At least that was until Shima seemed to ignore their Mom, going to scoop up the spitorog up. He froze in place, expecting something terrible to occur involving the creature's spikes... but instead it just sort of hung in his sister's hold spitting bubbles. It didn't seem too dangerous, did it? Instead it seemed a bit... dumb. He lifted a hand, waving in front of the creature's eyes, then asked, "Umm... Shima...? Is it looking in two directions?" He asked in a somewhat confused manner.

Jhana Post 2
Jhana felt herself deflate when Jerarda seemed to put an end to her train of thought. Well something bad had to happen. That animal did not look safe to touch. It looked icky and.. and... and Shima was swinging it around. "Shima! Put it down! Ewwwww its bubbles almost touched me!" She pulled herself back and ran to her Ma, Jerarda. "Ma! Shima almost touched me with it." She cried. Subtlety was not her strong suit."Look! The bubbles were this close." She held out her hands to show how close it was before blubbering her sobs. "Tell her to put it dowwwnnnn." She whined.
Aminah Post 2
Aminah watched as Shima seemed to grab onto yet another odd animal, this time a helpless spitorog, with a humerous smile on her face. That little girl would get into a lot of trouble as she got older, she could already see that one coming. The other two seemed to be troubled over her find, Jerami timid and Jhana deeply upset. That one would also get into trouble, but for entirely different reasons. The three were a handful.
Shima trotted over to her, the bubbling spitorog in her hands and held it up to Aminah. "I see! Look what you've caught, Shima." She smiled. "I'd say it's almost as big as you are. Are you ready to eat yet?" She would have to have Shima wash her hands before she picked up a sandwhich she thought with a laugh to herself.
Watching the kids fuss over such a silly creature she took a deep breath and wondered if she should call out to them again. She didn't want to get angry but they couldn't just ignore her either. Watching as Animah moved over to the kids to admire the creature and make small talk she eye'd the food and licked her lips in anticipation.
Shima post 3
Shima paused a moment to think on her brother's comment. Looking in different directions? Trying to look at its face she found it hard to do as it was facing out from her, she would have to turn it around to actually see if it was trying to look in two directions...a tricky task indeed with all those spikes. Of course her sisters reaction made her want to shove the creature even closer to her face.
"its not bad Jhana! Look its kinda cute!" she managed thrusting the spitorog forward so it was even closer to her sibling. Perhaps it was due to her moving it around so much...but the poor creature decided it inflate at the exact moment she thrusted it forward, surprising her to give a small shriek before dropping it suddenly. The poor creature landed with a splat on the ground, still inflated and haphazardly on its side.
There was a moment of silence before the young girl decided it was still okay to poke at it. Hunching over she tilted her head to the side before a large grin spread across her face.
"Oh hey Jerami! Your right it is looking in two directions!" Looking up she noted that Animah was looking at her with the patience of a saint and she giggled before moving over to hug her mothers leg. "I am hungry!" The spirtorog was forgotten momentarily.

Jerami: Post Three
Jerami turned to look over at his Mommy, smiling up at her in a happy manner, his eyes seeming to sparkle as he regarded her. She was so nice! Even to Shima as she showed off the prickly frog that she'd been so daring to capture. At the mention of food he found himself all ready to go get something to eat and leave behind the spitorog to do... well, whatever it was that spitorogs did in their spare time. If he had to guess he'd say hopping around, blowing bubbles, while starring off into space. It was just what the one Shima was holding seemed to be doing even now so that must be what they did on a regular basis, right?
He was only able to take one step before the creature that Shima was holding suddenly inflated, making itself rather massive, and the shriek that Shima made was echoed by Jerami before he was running away from the frog and over to his Mom. Ducking behind Jerarda's legs he peeked out, looking at the frog cautiously, as though expecting it to be going on a rampage. Instead it was just sort of laying there on its side, still puffed up, drooling bubbles. Oops, it seemed as though there was no reason to run away from it... but it was too late to look brave now, huh?
His cheeks a bright red and his antennae twitching he lifted his hands up to cling to one of Jerarda's hands. He'd stick close to her just in case the creature got up and came after one of them.

Jhana Post 3
Her sister nearly threw the spitorog at her and with a screech Jhana tripped backward and onto the hard ground. She looked up to Aminah, and then to Jerarda behind the group before wailing. "Shima made me fall!" She cried out. Something needed to be done. It wasn't right for Shima to get away with being so mean.
She rubbed her nose with her arms and ran to Jerarda, hoping for some sympathy. "Ma! Did you see what Shima did? She made me fall." She squeezed Jerarda's leg.
Aminah Post 3
Aminah held the tray of food just a little bit higher as Shima clutched onto her leg, while using the other to start petting her hair. "Well if you want to eat you had better wash your hands." She grinned to the rest of her little gaggle. "And that goes for all of you."
I'm terrible I'm sorry gonk

Jerarda Post 4:
Jerarda flinched slightly as Shima shrieked, she knew there was nothing to fear. And the children would too learn this through trial and error. Still it did cause her to jump slightly, she didn't realize that her kids had such strong lungs. With Jerami clutching to her hand and hiding slightly behind her back she couldn't help but feel rather protective. Unlike his sisters he was the more timid of the bunch.
Squeezing his hand to reassure him he gave a look to Jhana, "We can see that Jhana.." She stated firmly not caring for the way Jhana instantly tatteled on her sibling. Of course ...kids would be kids...and Shima should of listened to her before all this. Still she used her free hand to reassure her daughter with a pat on the head.
"Shima leave the creature alone. Come and do as your mother says and wash your hands its time to eat." The tone was firm as she had found that lately she had to talk in such a way to get Shima to even realize what she had done was wrong. Shima Post 4:
"You fell on your own!" Shima protested towards Jhana sticking her tongue out at her sister only to only cringe at Jerarda's scolding. Kicking the dirt at her feet she sulked as she looked to the ground.
"I didn't mean...too.." she pouted moving over to Aminah and going to clutch at her other mothers leg. Since her other siblings were with Jerarda she felt perhaps it was safer to be with Animah.
Jerami seemed to relax, giving a smile and a twitch of his antennae when his mother gave his hand a squeeze. It was a reassurance that the boy needed, one that seemed to help to calm him down significantly as well. He looked up at Jerarda for a moment before giving her hand a squeeze in return before his attention went back to his sisters. Jhana was now clinging to their mother as well while Shima went over to their mommy instead. It seemed that being accused of knocking Jhana over, as well as scolded for it, had put Shima in a bad mood. It made him want nothing more then to go over to his sister to give her a hug. Maybe... maybe after things calmed down a bit?
It was about then that they were given the order to wash their hands before they had their meal and while he didn't release his mother's hand he could at least look at his free hand. He hadn't touched the frog so surely he should be alright, right? Hmmm, well, mommy said that it went for all of them so he looked up at his mother and asked, "Does that mean you too?" If that were the case then that meant that he didn't have to let her hand go quite yet.

Jhana Post 4
Jhana winced at the tone of her Ma. She felt like she was getting in trouble too for something Shima had done. She felt her lip quiver and she looked down at the ground. She didn't realize what it was that she had done, still too young to know that tattling wasn't appropriate.
She slowly let her hands drop from Jerarda's leg, looking up to her Mama. If she said it was time to wash her hands, then it was time. She wiped her face with the back of her hands clearing out the little bit of tearing that had worked itself into the corners of her eyes before she nodded her head. "Ok Mama." She sniffled before walking her way to the wash bin. She dunked her hands in, trying to do a good job so her moms would know she was sorry for crying before running back to Aminah's leg. She was hungry.
Aminah Post 4
Aminah sighed lightly at the little ones around her and Jerarda. Parenting three children was definitely a handful, no one could say otherwise. Especially when they all had such big personalities. She smiled to Jerarda as one by one their children washed their hands for lunch.
She set the tray of food down on a small table near the entrance to their home. "Alright. Everyone had better eat their fill. I made it with extra love." She patted the tops of their heads. She loved their soft hair. She remembered she loved petting them when they were still babies. They were getting too big too soon.
The alkidike looked down at her son, the word still foreign in her mind as well her tongue. He had asked if she would wash her hands too and she figured she may as well set a good example for their children.
"yes I will wash my hands as well. Come on Shima, Jhana, Jerami lets all go wash our hands together." She stated with an nod of her head. "Do you mind setting up the food while I get them cleaned up?" She inquired her eyes noting that the spitorog was still laying on its side still inflated. Perhaps if it was still here after they ate dinner she would see about removing it.
Shima: Post 5
Still pouting at Animah's side was reluctant to go wash her hands though she finally pulled away when she saw everyone else was doing it was well as mother. She was quick to wash her hands, perhaps a bit too quick about it as she was making a lot of splashing with resulted in getting on bother her sister and brother. Still with hands cleaned she seemed in better spirits as she rushed to Animah to show off her dripping but clean fingers.
"All done!" she proudly proclaimed before she rushed towards the food and grabbing some before taking a giant bite. She never realized how hungry she was until she started eating.

Jerami: Post Five
Jerami gave a happy sound as his mother said that she'd be washing her hands along with them. It meant that he got to hold onto her hand until they got to the basin. There he waited his turn before he set to work scrubbing his hands clean of whatever might be stuck to them. Only once he'd gotten them cleaned up he did he step back, shaking his hands free of the water best he could be wiping the remants off on his dress.
That done he looked between his sisters, giving them both a smile, watching them go ahead toward their mommy or the food. He waited though for their mother to be done washing her hands too, walking alongside of her, feeling quite at ease and safe at her side. Her mother was tall and strong and amazing! There was nothing to worry about when she was there, especially not spitorogs! This thought in mind he stayed at her side until he felt he was close enough to the food that he could go over and get some for himself.
"Thank you for the food, Mommy!" He said to Aminah before he started to dig in.

Jhana Post 5
Jhana looked at the food questioningly before slowly reaching to the plate and grabbing a sandwich. She looked up at Aminah and sniffed it before taking a tiny nibble. She wasn't sure she trusted what was inside, but her mama wouldn't put anything in it that Jhana wouldn't like. She hoped at least. Mama was always telling her she had to eat better, scolding her for being so picky. But it wasn't her fault! Why was she gonna eat something she didn't like?
She swallowed her little nibble and processed what it was she was tasting. It was approved. She munched on her sandwich before finishing it off and debated taking a second. She was hungry. All this yelling and falling worked her stomach completely empty. She looked to the others to see how many was left before taking another and chomping away. "These are really good Mama."
Aminah Post 5
Aminah watched all three of her children wash their hands, getting more water on everything else than they were on their hands. She moved to be closer to Jerarda then, leaning against her for a moment before grabbing a sandwich for herself.
She was pleasantly surprised with the acceptable of the sandwiches. All three of her little ones seemed to have no problems eating the food she made today. Though She did notice Jhana look at it with some serious inspection before she actually took the tiniest bite she could imagine her taking. She chuckled to herself; it was the mildest reaction she had seen from her daughter in a while.
