LIBERTY TOWER
Located in right in the center, Liberty Tower is a large, narrow tower with a rotating observation deck at the top. Serving as the tallest building in the city, the spire of Liberty Tower is one of the very first things that newcomers of Astoria see upon arrival. An elevator at the base of the tower takes visitors up to the deck at the top of the tower, where they can see much of the city and its outlying area. For an added thrill, the observation deck has a solid glass floor for people do look straight down and see the street below them. The Tower will often have a light and fire show during special city events.
