This is my 1st year here at Hogwarts.

I'm currently with no one special, at the moment.

People say that, in a nutshell, I'm fiercely loyal and compassionate; I’m slow to trust, but once I do, You’ve got yourself a friend for life. I may be indecisive at times, but if I feel strongly about something, I’ll know what I want to do, and I do it. I may be shy and not be all that extroverted, but when it comes to my friends, that changes, because I feel comfortable around them, and if someone hurts my friends, I hurt them back, because my friends, to me, are like another family.

My background story is I grew up in a rural community and was raised by my ma, who is a witch, and my da, who is a muggle. We have a few horses there, and a couple cats, the family Owl, Addy, and Oreo, who I found when she was wondering the streets as a pup, and begged my parents to let me keep. It was hard to convince them, but once they saw how attached we were to each other, even after a couple of days, they relented and let me keep her on the condition that she would be my responsibility. That was a year and a half ago, and now she’s a happy and healthy 3-year-old Border Collie puppy.

Where I grew up, in the Scottish countryside, everyone knew everyone else’s business. Well, the muggles didn’t know everything, actually, but they though they did. Anyways, since our house was in the countryside, and I’m the youngest, I always got the chores I enjoyed more, those being helping my mom, organizing the books, and mostly, working in the stables with the couple of horses we have.

I also have an older sister and brother, but I never saw them much, since they were both off at Hogwarts most of the year, and when they were home, I never got a chance to see them, but I never had any idea what they were doing. They graduated last year, 2030, both with 7 OWLs each, my brother going on to become an Auror, and my sister becoming a Healer, so you could say I have a lot to live up to, even if my parents say that it’s not true. Until I got my letter a little after my 11th birthday, I was never sure if I would rather be a witch or a muggle, who have a much, to my mind, simpler life than that of magic folk.

I’m still not sure, in fact, but I’m going to make the best of this new situation, as I always do. Oreo will be with me the whole way – minus my first year, since my mum is making me leave her home - so she’ll help.

I enjoy Herbology, Care of Magical Creatures, Charms, Transfiguration, and Quidditch.

I despise spiders, scratch that bugs in general, liars/cheaters, egotistical people, bigoted people, sexist people, cruelty in general.

I'm afraid of spiders. *shivers* And I’m not scared of them. No, I’m *terrified* of them.

My strengths are healing/taking care of people and animals, flying,

My flaws are I don’t usually know what to say or do, I can be a klutz,

I look like your average white teenage girl; auburn hair, blue/green eyes, currently about 4’10”. (my last muggle school photo, in case you were wondering)

My wand is a 8 ½” supple, knobby Oak wand with a spiraled shaft and a Hippogriff Feather core.

My pet is a A 3-year-old female Border Collie named Oreo, who, unfortunately, is currently at home being taken care of by my ma, but just for my first year.
