Roleplay 0. All things on Gaia (in guild, in thread etc) will follow Soq & Gaia rules & T.O.S. (If you want something outside of this Realm, please PM to inquire.) 1. I love Roleplay, which consequently means I have about 30 40 active threads (orz). This means that I also: a. May ask you something and then forget and possibly ask you again. b. May propose RP and ask you to start it or ask for it to be somewhat delayed while I work through my current load. c. May start an RP and then be a little chaotic to reply due to all threads. d. I may do any of these things and then forget. I am SORRY, in advance. Trust that I do have an "active RP" list in my teepee. You may view it HERE. If our RP is not on it, please poke me with a stick. PM, IM, quote and shake, whatever works. I Want To RP! 2. Because of how life is, I do prefer Guild RP. However, I am open to IM, PM, In-Thread and other forms of RP. Please mention your preference and we'll work something out. 3. Teleri is (tentatively) available for in-Flock and out-Flock RP, depending on the circumstances. (For example, I would like her to meet other Tri-Wings.) 4. It is a personal goal to Max Stat all my ponies. As such I am more invested in statting Soqs that still require it, but I am still willing to work on all Maxed ponies. No one is excluded from RP! You want someone, we will make it happen!
Plotting 1. Flock-Bound Soqs will likely be located here (for all Flock Plots) and receive a smaller presence/mention within my main plot thread in case people don't know about them (or this thread). Regardless, all of my herd is open for Plotting, even if they aren't here (or there) right now! Again, if you want someone, we will make it happen! (Go to my Teepee to shop the full collection!) 2. Most plots are a sketch-outline style concept. They are (likely) built to fit into the overall puzzle or arc I create for the character, but are not set in stone. If suggesting a change or proposing a twist might better suit the plot to your character, please do! There is always room for improvement. 3. Even if it isn't stated or doesn't meet a need in their own arc, please feel free to request someone to play a role in your own arc/rp/plot. As long as it doesn't directly go against their current roles, I'm more than happy to help you in your plots. Please note: At this time I am not allowing the death, mutilation or maiming of my Soqs. 4. Plots included are something I'm really looking for, however if you have a different idea that can build on that as a backplot foundation, I'm happy to hear you out! (Sometimes I can't get all my thoughts out at once, so you may be asking for something I do want and just haven't added here yet!) 5. At this time Teleri's character is not all that interested in capturing outside males, but she is available for establishing 'friendships' or RPing with them. (Please note that if you DO want her to capture your stallion, there'd be a bit of work involved. She's not gonna catch just any guy.)
Breeding(Whoa hey way down the road just FYI but I stole this format from one of my other threads and we're just going all out rn) 1. Those of the Flock do not "Lifemate"! As such, once Teleri begins "looking" she will be shopping for desirable traits in males (for future generations of Harpy children) and will not be looking for a "Lifemate". (However, a favored pet/play thing/breeding partner may be an option). 2. At this time it is unlikely that Teleri will be breeding with out-Flock stallions because she is loyal to the Flock. However, as she will make some forays out of Flock there is an opportunity for this to occur! I would just like a little more plot to build it into her Arc. 3. If you're offering one of your herd to my Flock-Based Soqs, please keep in mind that I do (again) love RP. RP is preferred. However, I understand some people may not have the time/energy/muses. As such, I can and do accept backplot, outlining/plot after there has been some discussion regarding the pair in question. Please note I do like these things to 'make sense' in the general outline of matters, and in the character of the Soq in questions. However, if they look outrageously great, it could just be a one-off thing. And if they get along really great, then appearance will matter less. 4. I am all about trying things out. However, until your Soq is named in my Soq's plots and I have agreed to a relationship, it's not set. As such, I may entertain other offers for the Soq, predating or following your plots. 5. Unless it is otherwise specified, a fling or breeding may not be in a specific order. I will try to work out an order that works best for all parties involved, however some of my older couples will be a higher breeding priority. 6. I'm open to plots/relationships for regular breedings, mock children only, or both. I'm not a big fan of crack breedings or mixers but I'm willing to consider it. (Never know if you don't ask.)
Rules 1. NO DEATH. At this time I am not allowing the death, mutilation or maiming of my Flock-bound Soqs. (I likewise don't have any real plans for deaths yet.) However, emotional distress, mental trauma, manipulation and healable injuries are all allowed with discussion. 2. IN CHARACTER? WE CAN HELP. As long as it isn't wildly out of character/disruptive to their current arc or plots, my Flock-Bound Soqs are happy to fill roles in your own plot/arc/story. It lets us make new friends and enemies, we're all for that! Just ask! 3. LIFEMATE? NEGATIVE. Please note that "Lifemate" relationships do not occur within the Flock and therefore Teleri would not be entering into one. (Largely because her sisters would shun her and she is deeply loyal to them and their beliefs). However, the position of a favored pet/plaything/breeding partner is not out of the question (as stated above). 4. LEAVE THE FLOCK? NEGATIVE. While Teleri may make traditional pilgrimage's to the Temple and on occasion explore outside Flock-Territory, she will not be leaving the Flock on a permanent basis. She will likewise not be joining any other Herd/Group. (At least as far as her current arc goes, but she's a baby and brand new and IDK you can always propose thoughts to me.) 5. .
Teleri Lindai was born to Vanmoriel of the flock, an artistic harpy mare momentarily mesmerized by a visiting tri-wing stallion she mistook for a spirit. While among the herd he was her chief muse, but after he departed it was discovered he had sired foals with several mares that he had been passing time with. Teleri is one of three fillies born to Vanmoriel, but they are not the only legacy Ananel left behind. Though her mother does not speak of her father and calls she and her sisters gifts of the spirits, Teleri has seen some of the art where the White Spirit is featured, and she knows that there is more of the story to be told. This of course makes her quite curious about the stranger, and results in her being prone to wandering and poking her nose about (usually where she shouldn't) as she searches for answers or more of the story.
Early in her life it was discovered that Teleri suffers from a type of colorblindness, Deuteranopic Vision wherein she is "green-weak". (Possibly due to the extreme presence of white in her parents which resulted in a weak gene, it is unknown.) As such, she is poor at discriminating small differences in hues in the red, orange, yellow, green region of the spectrum. All the shades of green, as well as line tones of blue, wash right into yellow-light red colors. Therefore, she makes errors in determining the differences in these colors because they all seem to wash 'red' to her.
Because of her issues with her colorblindness, Teleri gravitates strongly to certain colors (specifically those that she can perceive correctly). This is due to the fact that, in a way, Teleri knows she can see them for what they truly are, and therefore she doesn't feel like she's missing something or being lied to. Due to this fact, and combined with the mysterious stories of the white spirit that was her mother's chief muse (once upon a time), White is Teleri's go-to color. It holds the utmost fascination to her. However, strong/deep shades of red are also among her favorite. As she's "green weak" color-wise, Teleri has a hard time with light shades of blue through all shades of green. These tend to look yellow-orange to her, and as such and most yellow-orange-weak red will all look the same to her as well.
Therefore, any Soquili in these shades (yellow-light red, all hues of green, light blues/pinks/light purples) will be viewed with some hesitance. Due to the fact that all she will really see are shades of yellow/orange/red, Teleri feels somewhat at a disadvantage in that she cannot view the Soquili for who they really are. As such, she may come off as a bit reserved or cool at first, preferring to be distant until she is better able to make out one's character. Though she is largely content among the bold females of the Flock, Teleri does feel somewhat alone even when surrounded by her family. She is the only one with hooves, to start with, as both of her sisters appeared to take after her mother in this way. As such, Teleri is not as easily able to take up art -like her mother-, or drum craft -like her aunt- or even any other art that requires the clever claws of a harpy. There is no trapping of creatures or skinning or tanning of hides, no braiding or beading or painting. Somewhat dejected by this notion the filly throws herself into music lessons, and realizes that if she cannot make art she will make herself art. It is at this time that it is noticed that Teleri is a graceful dancer and a skilled singer. As she grows up, she desires to train to be one of the best the Flock has ever seen.
As she is not a meat-eater and lacks the claws or fangs to be a proper huntress, Teleri also works as a gatherer for the flock. Because of her limited perception of color this results in her requiring a spotter, for assistance with identifying herbs and plants that will be of use to her sisters. However, as her eyes are somewhat weakened her nose is somewhat strengthened, and she is particularly clever about the location of mushrooms and herbs with distinctive scents.
In her wandering, Teleri has begun to encounter all matter of Soquili. As she makes friends outside of the flock, different crafting ideas start welling up. At first she starts with making adornments, chiefly consisting of beads and bits strung and worn in whatever way the Soquili chooses. A few of the local animals notice how she struggles with color or her lack of clever limbs, and they began helping, ensuring all the colors match and aiding her by stringing the items in the patterns she designed. Eventually Teleri even begins carving hair ornaments and decorative pieces from wood. The creatures help on occasion, but she learns to wedge the pieces in crevices in the rocks and then whittle or carve with the use of sharper rocks and other such implements. Growing proficient with such things, she eventually expands her ornaments to include variety of carved stone, bones, and shells. These items were first intended as a gift for a certain friend or two, but now may become a manner of trade for Teleri or a token of her affection to a friend or lover.

She cannot see the colors they name, words with no meaning to her beyond names for thing she'll never know.... And she learns to own these things, to make them an accepted part of her.

~:Making Ornaments:~ Through discussions with various friends and some unknown inspiration, Teleri realizes that with the help of some friends (various critters) she can indeed make some beautiful things. She begins to design hair ornaments, and eventually learns to whittle and carve them. First from wood, then bone. ((Eventually I'd like her to meet someone that can source her shells as well, for these trinkets)).
