 HP: 40 One down. One to go. Antarmur'ss did not count the creeping spawn of Martyr as a viable foe. That had just been a little fatherly vengeance...and assurance that his son wouldn't go after the boy again. Who wanted to fight someone their father had whooped on after all? Still, there was more then one beat down that needed to be delivered. First he'd taken down Defender on his way towards Venezia. Like hell he was going to let some cursed false god infect Venezia with more of this madness then they already had. Now he had to settle things with Martyr. Antarmur'ss stepped silently through shadows and darkness. That was one good thing about the Carnival. With it's flashy lights and displays, there were always dark spaces between the tents and booths for him to move through. He sought out Martyr in such a way. Garbed in his battle armor and holding a bow of shadows. When he finally located the profane beastess Antarmur'ss announced his challenge in the most effective way possible. By shooting a darkness formed arrow at the woman.

 HP: 36 The Martyr could never sit still... After defeating Hexyina she had moved to locate and catch the Jester. Word had not yet reached her about the Defender's defeat. The Goddess stalked a group of carnies who were discussing something about their Lord. However, she would never receive the whole batch of information as she was rudely interrupted by an arrow which pierce into her wing's membrane. She bit back a hiss and knocked the offending object from her wing, turning to see the source. "Oh..? First the mutt, now you?" She snickered. "Making this oh so easy on me..." She charged at Antarmur'ss, leaping into the air and slashed her claws at his face on her way down.

HP: 37 Antarmur'ss stepped forwards slightly. A cold expression set on his face as he lowered his bow to his side. "Oh no my dear. There will be nothing easy about this at all. It will be hard, brutal, and very very unpleasant." Antarmur'ss replied. As Martyr leaped towards him Antarmur'ss threw his forearm up to deflect the claws and save his face from her slashing attack. "Always the face. You creatures are so predictable." He scoffed. With Martyr so close to him, the Darkness god reached out with one gauntlet covered hand. His intention was to simply grasp her by one of her horns so he could twist about and attempt to fling the woman across the ground. "I am sick of you creatures. Meddling where you have no business."

HP: 31 The Martyr was not expecting him to grab one of her horns. As she briefly rose, just as quickly she fell to the ground and tumbled a bit. In order to stop herself she flared out her wings and sprung back to her feet. She simply sneered at the response and headed in Antarmur'ss direction. "Meddling? Nonsense! I'm simply bringing you all the suffering you deserve!" She lashed out, grasping at the God's belt to forcefully throw him into a stack of crates and barrels.

HP: 33 Antarmur'ss curled his lip at Martyr as she approached him. She reached out quickly, and before he had a chance to respond to the low grab, he found himself hurled through the air. Wood cracked and barrels exploded under the force of his body landing. "We bring our own suffering by means of our actions. We do not need you to fulfill that role." Antarmur'ss chastised Martyr as he rolled from the wreckage. Some straw and wood splinters had worked it's way into his braided hair yet he paid that no heed. "But this is not the point I mean to make." As he spoke Antarmur'ss held a hand palm up. Shadows curled within his curled fingers, forming into a dark purple ball of darkness. "The Jester is my foe. If anyone is going to take him down and claim the Carnival, that is my prize and mine alone." He snarled before flinging the shadow ball at Martyr, in the hopes of exploding the shadowy bolt against her.

I don't see your name anywhere here. Nor did the Jester even speak of you. For such a unyielding devotion to taking him and this place... it seems one-sided." She remarked and brought her arms up to defend herself. The shadowy bolt hit her arms and numbed them momentarily. She shook her hands to regain feeling back in them before charging at Antarmur'ss, stopping before she reached him and lashed out with her tail in one large swing.

Antarmur'ss backed away when she rushed him, and when her tail slashed up he crossed his arms to partly block the blow. With a flexing of his own tail, he returned the blow in kind. His tail snapped forwards with the blade tipped tentacles snapping at her.

Antarmur'ss backed away when she rushed him, and when her tail slashed up he crossed his arms to partly block the blow. With a flexing of his own tail, he returned the blow in kind. His tail snapped forwards with the blade tipped tentacles snapping at her. HP: 23 "Pity you need excuses to justify your words, Darkness God." She curled her lip in a smirk but soon was caught off guard by the tail strike. She had expected just a simple tail yet foolishly she forgot about the tentacles. And the metal that tipped them. Each lashing stun more than the previous. With a leap back, she gained distance between herself and the god. "Tch.." She wiped off some of the blood from the wounds and glanced down at some broken plywood. She picked it up and with a heavy hand, flung it at the god.

HP: 27 "Justify?" Antarmur'ss repeated. A amused light flickered behind his mask as he swayed his tail behind him. "I need no justification. Things are as they are. You are the one in err here woman." Antarmur'ss lifted his arm again and used the guard upon it to flick the flung plywood away with hardly a flinch of concern. "Pathetic." He snarled. With a toss of his head the Darkness god strode towards Martyr. Shadows spun up from his feet and twisted into a spear. Antarmur'ss snapped up the weapon and flung it at Martyr.

HP: 16 Martyr felt the spear lodge into her thigh. She roared out in pain and in the heat of the moment pried the blade from her skin. Gazing down at the crimson blood, the dragoness sneered something wicked as her attention was drawn back to her opponent. She took a step despite her leg protesting and flapped her wings to accelerate herself towards the Darkness God, gliding at him. As she neared she raised her clawed hand and went to strike.

HP: 21 Antarmur'ss head lifted with a gleam of satisfaction upon seeing his spear strike well. Smug already with his expectation of a victory, he made no move to get out of Martyrs charge. Rather he arrogantly leaned in towards her, allowing her claw to dig through the protective metal of his armor and into the flesh beneath. Antarmur'ss hissed in pain as he lunged towards Martyr. His own claw tipped hand lashed out at her in unison with her own attack.

HP: 10 The Martyr felt the claws dig into her cheek and rip into the flesh. She growled in pain and did her best to ignore it. She didn't give any space between them and brought her knee up to hit him in the gut as she grabbed a hold of his shoulder with an iron grasp.

HP: 19 Antarmur'ss claws came away bloody from the strike. He snapped his hand back behind him and flexed his claws as Martyr closed the distance between them. he felt her hand on his shoulder and her knee came up into his stomach. However the metal plating covering his stomach helped lessen the blow. He was feeling a bit winded now, yet a toothy grin parted his lips. "Beast. You have no chance of winning this war now that I am involved. I will lay you low like that pathetic Defender." He taunted even as he jerked his head forwards in an attempt to smash his horns into her skull. "I am the greatest of the Gods! I am War! I am Victory! I am Darkness!"

HP: 7 Martyr was distracted when Defender's name was spoken. "You did what...?" She started at him in disbelief. It would make sense... She hadn't seen him in awhile but no. Defender could not fall so easily... Could he..? She wasn't going to take any chances and grabbed Antarmur'ss by the arm and threw him down to the ground. "What did you do, you maggot!?" She roared loudly, wings flared out. She rarely showed others her feelings for Defender but he was the only think keeping her truly grounded. Without him... well... she'd completely lose it.

HP: 15 With a whoosh of air and a thump of his tail, Antarmur'ss was flung to the ground. He landed hard on his back, though the force was felt mostly in his butt as he landed on his tail a little wrong. He was going to have a kink there later. He should have brought someone with him to massage him after his battles. Pressing his hand to the ground he rolled to his feet. "Do to him? Barely anything at all." Antarmur'ss remarked with that cocky grin of his. "He wasn't much of a challenge but I simply could not allow him to attack Venezia." The darkness god approached the enraged Martyr and spun about on the ball of one foot. He lashed out hard with his tail at her as he continued. "I shall tell you as I told him. Get out of the Carnival, lest I take it upon myself to come to your domain and take possession of all that you own."
