User ImageSummer was amazing under the slow crashing waves of the ocean. Sea creatures moved like a busy city; swimming and scuttling along the coral reefs and sandy depths. It was a lovely scene, like one straight from a movie. A cartoon really. All of these creatures swimming around and interacting with one another in order to form a balanced ecosystem. And on top of all that activity and life, was another creature. Or set of creatures really. Swimming along rather pleasantly, a Seathi seemed to be minding his own business. But in reality, he was looking for something even more enjoyable to do. Something that would make him seem like he wasn't just following the current and drifting through his life. Jason flicked his tail, the fins connected to the end shifting and drifting with the water. He was large for a Seathi, seeming rather bulky and tight muscled. His skin pink, covered in small brown leopard spots. And he was Jasper; the overly excited little sea being.

And, of course, he was bored.

Jasper breathed out a sigh, the action causing bubbles to to escape and start float up toward the surface. The Seathi tilted his head to the side, staring around the brightly colored reef to try and see if there was anything he could do in order to amuse himself. But, Jasper often couldn't find a dang thing to entertain himself. Instead he spent his days lounging in the reefs and playing with small fish. That was all fun and games, but it wasn't meaningful; and Jasper wanted his life to be more than just games. The over dramatic stallion whined slightly to himself, before swimming off from the reefs surface to get some more view. His soft orbs took in the sights around him, before he caught sight of something not too far away. He squinted for a moment, before catching the tail end of something moving along the bottom of the reefs. It was pointed, and made his heart beat quicker. A shark! That was perfect! If there was a shark around, he could save the entire reef before they were all gobbled up and made into chum!

The Seathi almost squealed he was so excited to finally have something to give him meaning. Jasper swam forward quickly, his tail beating against the water behind him as he moved toward where the shark was creeping around. And as he turned around a particularly tall part of the reef, he saw her. Another Seathi, like himself, pink and brown in color, also like himself. How ironic! The problem was, she was near where the shark was heading. Jasper's ears snapped up, and he surged forward, his hooves tucked tight against his underbelly. "Look out!" He called to her, before he was able to reach her. The main goal was to get her out of the way, and tucked to where she wasn't in the open water where the shark would get her. Cause something so pretty couldn't become shark food! That just wasn't right! Right?

Right!
