Defender had returned to the Carnival once more...but not for that girly piece of Demi he'd finally knocked down. But to find the God who 'ran' the place himself. He walked through the gates this time, glaring at lesser followers who scrambled out of his way. He whistled for a bit, tail flicking behind him as he looked about.
"Veeeeneeeezia. Where are youuuu." He called out here and there, trying to draw the God out from wherever he was hiding. Now the campgrounds just seemed...too quiet.HP: 40

 HP: 40 Defender's call would be answered. Though not in the manner he would so wish. A arrow of darkness sailed directly for Defender in his bold stalking path. From the shadow of a tent, Antarmur'ss stepped forth. Garbed properly in his battle armor from the last war, and with a obsidian bow of shadow in one hand, he scowled darkly at Defender. "That is far enough beast. You will proceed no further. Venezia is mine to battle if anyone shall." He declared with a soft snarl.

HP: 34 Defender was in mid call again when he was struck in the chest and thrown back into the side of a tent, letting out a yelp of pain and surprise as he collapsed the smaller tent. It took him a moment to untangle himself, but when he snarled and ripped free, he saw who attacked him.
"Well, now if it isn't the shadow lord, finally emerging from his hiding place." Defender let out a laugh and lunged forward, his movements swift and fast as he flared his wings out to catch the air, bringing his feet up to 'pounce' the other, claws aimed at the space around his shoulders.

HP: 32 Defender was quite quick and he succeeded in lunging against Antarmur'ss. Together the pair of gods fell backwards. Antarmur'ss felt a small carnival booth shatter under their combined weight, and claws dug through the protective scales covering his flesh. Antarmur'ss bared his teeth at Defender as he'd retort. "Fool. I do not hide. I merely stand by and watch you pretend gods. It is your own fault if you are not aware the shadows are alive with my will." He hissed as he whipped his tail up. The tentacles along it's length, tipped with metal blades, snapped up and towards Defenders back.

HP: 30 During the collapse of the booth, a piece of wood had smacked Defender in the face, making him turn his head a moment and not see the others tail whip upwards causing his back to now ache from the force of the blow. Thank goodness for armor, right? Though he did take note one of the blades had managed to rip open the plate, digging into his back a little. He let out a hiss of pain and brought a fist down to the others face, "Oooh, excuses excuses. You still hid in the shadows till your wounds were well licked."

HP: 28 Antarmur'ss turned his head as Defender struck at his face. With a twist of his will, he used the shadows beneath them to try and thrust upwards at Defender, so as to throw the god off him. "And what manner of imbecile goes running around into battle with his leg or arm half cut off? Of course I waited till I was stronger. Do not mistake intelligent battle tactics with cowardice. Of course, you do not make such decisions do you? You merely follow the orders of the one holding your leash." He snarled with a curling of his lip.

HP: 26 Defender let out a grunt as he was lifted up and into the air, furling his wings out to catch himself as he landed nearby. He snorted at the others rebuttal and grabbed a thicker piece of wood, chucking it at the God before lunging afterwards, clawed hand striking upwards at the bared flesh of the Gods' neck and face. Maybe if he was lucky he'd rip that mask off his face.

HP: 20 Antarmur'ss pushed himself to his feet, only in time to be smacked by a piece of wood, then the god himself again. Antarmur'ss went down again onto his back. He felt the claws scrape against his mask, but the additional straps helped keep it securely in place. From the ground Antarmur'ss grunted. "Defender I am beginning to suspect a ulterior motive for getting me on my back." He chided the other as he attempted to slam his tail against Defenders wing.

HP: 20 "You're the one who keeps letting me get on top like the b***h you are." He chided and then grunted as the weaker bones in his wing snapped from the force, his wing-fingers spazzing a moment before curling up in pain. Defender growled and punched downwards with this clawed hand.

HP: 19 "Oh ho. I see. Your right. I'm certainly not the b***h so the bottom is not my place. Here. allow us to switch." Antarmur'ss growled as he jerked his head to the side to avoid being slammed by Defenders fist. Antar pressed his tail against the ground to give him additional leverage as he jerked a knee towards Defenders stomach, and attempted to roll on top of him.

HP: 12 Well. That was unexpected. Defender found himself suddenly underneath the other male and blinked for a moment, only to find himself blushing with a mixture of fury and embarrassment. He let out a snarl and kicked upwards, throwing Antar upwards and over him, reaching up to grab his tail and twist the tentacles.

HP: 11 "Is that a blush I detect about that face guard?" Antarmur'ss purred at Defender a second before the god threw him over his head. he landed hard and felt the painful twist of his tentacles. Instead of jerking away, Antar flexed the tentacles to try and wrap them around Defenders arm. Antarmur'ss rolled into a cat like position, and with a jerk of his tail attempted to wrench Dedender over his own head in turn, and slam him to the ground with his tail. "Oh Defender. You are not privileged enough to enjoy the caresses of my tentacles."

HP: 4 Defender hit the ground. And hard. He let out a strangled gasp and struggled to breathe for a moment before hiking his leg up and kicking back to the other with as much strength as he could quickly gather.

HP: 4 As Defender struggled for breath, Antarmur'ss rose to his feet. He swept his tail behind him and sauntered towards where the other god had fallen. "Venezia is mine. Keep that in mind the next time you get it into your bird brain to come after him. I will beat you down and send you--" Antarmur'ss grunted and faltered as Defender lashed out with a kick that caused his leg to buckle under him. Antarmur'ss dropped to a knee and in a snarl of anger he lifted his hand. A shadow in the shape of a hand loomed up around him, and swiped at Defender like one would try to smack a fly.

HP: 1 Defender was seeing swirls of darkness as he tried to keep consciousness. He barely had enough energy to roll out of the way...well, most of the way. He let out an almost yowl of pain as the shadow smacked down on his arm, snapping the bones in his hand. He huffed and kicked out again, his vision spinning on the border.
