I am the one
Camouflage and guns
Risk my life
To keep my people from harm
Authority
Vested in me
I sacrifice
With my brothers in arms
Through this doorway
What's on the other side
Never knowing
Exactly what I'll find
Locked and loaded
Voices screaming
Let's go!
Come on do it
Here we go!
Oh, take a life
Ten others may live
Oh, that's just the way it goes
Oh, shut my eyes
It hammers in my head
Where it'll end
Nobody knows
Camouflage and guns
Risk my life
To keep my people from harm
Authority
Vested in me
I sacrifice
With my brothers in arms
Through this doorway
What's on the other side
Never knowing
Exactly what I'll find
Locked and loaded
Voices screaming
Let's go!
Come on do it
Here we go!
Oh, take a life
Ten others may live
Oh, that's just the way it goes
Oh, shut my eyes
It hammers in my head
Where it'll end
Nobody knows
Hiro turned on to a side street, when suddenly, he spotted something...a man on the ground. He didn't seem to be moving...though, he did seem to be dying. Pulling over almost instantly, Hiro quickly shut off his car, exited the vehicle, and rushed towards the downed man, getting on a knee next to him.
"Oh my god...Hey man, are you awake? Hello? Have you called 911? s**t..."
Hiro rushed back to his car and took out his cell phone, dialing 911 quickly.
"Yes...Hello? Hi, Im on the corner of Wood Street in Schaumburg...I found a man unresponsive on the ground, a pool of blood around his body. I honestly have no idea where the blood is coming from, what happened, nothing. I just turned...Wait, Wait! He's coming to! My friend, be still!
Hiro ran back to the now conscious and moving man, whom had flipping on to his back, revealing a bullet wound near the bottom of his stomach. He clutched at it, coughing up blood.
"He's been shot! Please, send help! Quick..What...What? s**t!"
Hiro's phone had suddenly lost service. It got quite cold as well. He looked down at the man.
"Hello? Whats your name? Who did this to you? How long have you been here for?"
No answer. The man's eyes merely stayed wide open and he stared at Hiro, his mouth too open. He looked like...a hollow human being. He was alive, but there was no one there. Thinking quickly, Hiro realized he had towels in his bag back at the car, and he could help clot the blood and stop the bleeding. As the sound of a single raven cawing resonated around the strangely empty street, the Cuban Jap rushed towards his car and pulled open the back door, taking his bag. As he walked back to the man, he was reaching into the bag, not paying attention.
It was then that he suddenly leaped back and landed hard in the street, as what was before him stunned him, and shook him to his very core...
There was nothing.
No blood, no man, not a single trace of there being any dead or dying human being. The only thing left behind was dirt, some dead bugs, a feather, and the usual things you'd find a sidewalk. Hiro quickly scurried up and out of the street, back to his car. He looked around, up and down the street, trying to see if there was anyone around, any sign of the man whom he had just seen before him. However, it was for not, except for the presence of a figure covered in black with a hint of grey, whom was too far away from Hiro to identify. He wasn't even truly sure if it was a person or not. The only thing he could for sure tell...was that it was staring in his direction.
Feeling creeped out, and way off schedule, the wrestler hopped back into his rental and sped away, 50 miles over the speed limit, looking to get to the park before anything weirder could possibly occur.
