Hyakutake figured introducing herself was the best thing to do, really. After all, if she would be getting a hold of Kells through another senshi's phone...well, it would be rude to not get to know the senshi! So she'd sent 'Sailor Elpis' a text, saying she'd been given her number by Kells, and introducing herself as Sailor Hyakutake. And then going on that if Elpis was up for it, she would be happy to have her join her to patrol any time. She was quick to send her patrol schedule for the next week, hoping they could have some overlap...
And hoping Elpis didn't poke and prod too much about knowing Kells. Hyakutake wasn't sure she was ready to admit she was rather enamored of the Knight.
She'd chosen a rather central area for patrol that night, something nice and easy to get around, with places to hide if she needed them. And no businesses open that late, so it made the potential of injured civilians in the case of a fight low.

Elpis' first reaction was to ask herself why an unknown text once again crossed her phone when se had a bad experience with e last one, which... Had been her first. This time, Elpis had almost yelled at Albert after, but decided to let Kells maintain his dignity (but he was the butt of an age joke, earning a rousing howl of betrayal and sulking for her effort), and now she was going to see what or who this other senshi was. If there were holes, Elpis gave her a wide berth. If not, well she was fine. BUT STILL, and as Elpis rounded the corner, she picked up on the other senshi's aura, murmuring in intrigue as she walked. Let the other feel for it, really. Hopefully she knew how, and the thought earned a sigh. If this was a Chibi, Kells was getting that earful.

Hyakutake looked up when she felt the other aura, very much Order like her own and Kells were. She paused in her patrol, a smile on her face and a wave offered when the other came into view. "Good evening. Thank you for joining me, Miss Elpis!" Hopefully the other wouldn't feel like biting her face off for the whole thing...

And another basic in Elpis Meets Baby Senshi patrol arrived, the senshi internally groaning as she waved. At least she wasn't a chibi or something. "Yo." The senshi greeted idly. "How're you?"

"Doing better than if I'd made a contract with an Incubator." Hopefully her joke didn't soar over the other's head...She'd feel bad if it did. "And you? Hopefully you didn't have to deal with any youma or Negaverse agents on the way here." She stopped next to Elpis, offering a hand. "I figured, since Kells gave me your number to keep in contact with him, it might be a good idea to meet you personally."

Oh no a Madoka fan. "You haven';t run into half the folks I have yet. As for trouble, not really. Not every chaos aura is my enemy. Gotta observe." Elpis rubbed her face, grimacing. "So I take it your a mahou shoujo fan. Bad news - it's ugly out there."

Hyakutake sighed, nodding. "I know. My awakening wasn't exactly...peaceful." She wrinkled her nose. "b*****d monster went after my sister. And...I was there New Year's Eve. And I heard what happened, the bits I didn't see. Well, mostly. I don't know the details of what happened after." She chewed on her bottom lip a bit.
"But it's war. War is ugly, and nasty, and no amount of magic can change that. We can only do what we can to minimize the damage to the non-combatants." She sighed. "As for chaos not always being an enemy...elaborate? Because that would be nice." She wouldn't mind if not every aura was an enemy. She tended to talk first, give them a chance, but...if there was a chance they might be able to bring some to their side?

"We don't discuss New Year's eve, I got pitched out a window before even awakening." Elpis sounded surly at that, then looked to Hyakutake. "Give them a chance to approach or talk first. Some are just going to try dragging you in - senshi can go in, I think, but those senshi have holes in them so be careful. I've run into at least two. There's the Dark Mirrors - they're fine enough, just don't fight them. They seem nie. The Nega agents themseles... Some, very few, but some can purify those who will it. I'm still trying to find out how purification works but I've seen it have happened. As for agents - I hae one for a sparring buddy. I think - I think the Negaverse lies to get recruits." And she'd help Sphalerite see that somehow. She was a good person in a bad place - and if it killed Elpis, she'd protect her friend from Chaos.

"Oof. That's harsh." Hyakutake had winced at the mention of being thrown through a window. "I...generally try to talk first. Even if it is sometimes just being snarky." She looked sheepish. And then surprised. "Are you..." And then angry. "Bastards. I'd like to kick whoever is lying to them in the nuts or tits." Nope. She didn't know less savory language. Not at all.

"Alien....what? That's like saying a nisei is an imperialist invader." Hyakutake looked...utterly annoyed. "God, what is with people. I was born on earth, just like them. I bleed red, I get my hair trimmed, I will probably die when I get old and wrinkly." She crossed her arms. "I'd like to see what their credentials to call us aliens are."

A sigh, and Elpis shook her head, looking up a moment to consider things. "No idea. I could ask but I'm not sure it wouldn't result in another effort at recruiting. Which while one of my people is a sweetheart, I'm worried they were misinformed." The senshi rubbed her face, making yet another face as she thought, finally looking up to Hyakutake. "I genguinely don't know how they get that we're aliens, and even if I was, Earth would be a primitive bag of dicks if I could travel. Even then." Elpis shrugged. "Magic is involved. But I don't know much, there, anyhow. I'm just sick of how this damn war is going." Another pause. "Mind, we'd do better if we were ********' coordinated, but, you know."

"It's always hard to bring together people of differing creeds and paths. Especially under peaceful and honest methods." She rubbed the back of her neck. "I've...actually been looking at a group I might join. To help out, try and reach out to more senshi and knights, so they know they have help and comrades." The blonde breathed deep. "Maybe if we organize better, we can keep them from telling more lies to everyone."

There was a twitch to Elpis' eye - the kind that belied the temper beneath the surface roiling and larching, and Elpis looked away, sighing and shutting her eyes. "There's too many new senshi falling through cracks. I'm getting all I can. Don't rely on too many who have more authority - or power. They're worthless when it comes to helping newer senshi, probably hiding away." Well, there was Megrez, but, that was different. Megrez was willing to help... "I'd trust the Knights myself." Now Elpis played with her hair, sighing. "Just trust me."

"I know." She sighed. "I...haven't learned much from those that are my seniors. But...that's what I want to help change. I want to help people get the guidance they need, the help they need. Be they senshi or knight. Or even cat." Surely the guardian cats needed a little help as well! "We all have homes to return to at the end of the day...we all need some help making sure we get there."
