Sanidine wasn't used to spending his nights alone; usually he had a little better luck at the bar, and even if he didn’t he could always grab the chef to keep him company in bed. But the ladies weren't calling, and Evan had called out. He had half a mind to pay the jerk a visit, but he had some anger to work out, and there was such a better way to get a rush.
Goodbye, Zack—Hello, Sanidine. Powering up was a whole new set of endorphins—and was a great way to pick up chicks in whatever way he wanted.
Oh, and gather energy. He wasn't gonna forget about that one. Again.
Even if he had sort of been putting it off for…
Too long.
He was out in the park tonight, rubbing his hands together and griping at the unpleasant warmth. The sun had only just set a while ago so the temperature, while dipping, still had quite a ways to go before it was more than just tolerable.
There was giggling in the distance, but Sanidine didn't know if hew anted to entertain a crowd…
But then, there it was. A faint tingle, growing stronger with each step.
An energy signature—an Order energy signature.
That was really, really strong.
Like, stronger than anything he'd felt before.
Of course he was going to seek it out. He needed a little excitement in his life, anyway.
He approached rapidly, weaving between trees until the aura went from tingling to overwhelming. And then he saw a splash of golden hair and soft colors. "Well, well," he greeted as he approached. "You look like you're all dressed for Winter. Few months late, I think. What ever are you doing out here, wearing that?"
…Go ahead and take it off, why don't you just.

Whisler was relaxing for the moment. The night was warm, but there was such a lovely breeze blowing softly across his face and it just felt so nice he hadn’t wanted to move after sitting down. When he felt the low level chaos aura coming close, he hadn’t felt the least bit worried about it...so he just continued to sit there, waiting.
He heard the voice and opened his eyes, giving the other male a look, and going so far as to smirk a little. “Oh yeah? So when you decided on your outfit, since you’re implying that’s how you ended up dressing yourself...what were you going for? Retired emo circus clown?”
Sure he was hot in his uniform, but it wasn’t his choice in what he got to wear, besides...he looked fantastic in it, he knew...and looks were always above comfort, any day.
“Also, I’m just enjoying the breeze. Tonight is terribly lovely, so I figured a terribly lovely guy like me should enjoy it as much as I want to.

Zack might have been offended at the comment about his uniform; it certainly wasn't his style, but magical clothes, magical powers—who cared? He wasn't trying to win any fashion awards.
Besides, he made anything look great.
"Now, now," he chastised, "Just because I didn't get to go pick what I wanted out of the Nega Mall doesn't mean you didn't get to dress yourself from," he looked the man over, "Wherever you come from. You'd look more lovely if you weren't in so many layers. Hard for me to get a good luck at you in that coat."
If Sanidine was intimidated, he wasn't showing it; he spoke to the Knight as he would speak to a civilian—or a friend in the Negaverse. He had no reason to get hostile. Yet.
"What are you a Knight of, anyway? I've never seen one dressed like you. It's flashy, I'll give you that. And your face is nice enough to make it work, I suppose."

Whisler grinned. “Well, honestly I think my layers make it more interesting, don’t you? Like a fine wrapped piece of candy, you know? My clothes are the shiny wrapper hiding my soft caramel center, complete with peanuts, of course.”
He grinned. “I don’t know though, if I were you, I’d go back to the Nega Mall and see what else they have...of course, you could always just trade up and come to the right side. Knight side, right side, after all.”
The knight winked and flipped his hair, listening to the crystals clink gently against one another. “My face is the best, I’ll have you know. But I’m sure you could have figured that out at least. So...what brings you here today? Can I help you with something?”

"Knight side, right side?" Sanidine prompted, amused. He raised a brow and was at least slightly interested; it wouldn’t be easy to convince him that the Knight side was truly the right side, but he wanted to know what this guy thought. Or where his credentials came from, at least.
"But then, you're probably a little biased, given that you're already playing for the other team. How do you know that the Knights are where it's at? Because, you know, from my perspective it sort of seems like you guys belong on other planets, tending to…well, whatever it is that Knights do. Don't you feel like an unwanted guest? At least the Negaverse is based on Earth, for Earth. What do you have going for you?"
