Estel was coming close to having a full set of armor. Unfortunately, her horse still wanted nothing to do with her. She stood outside the gate, looking a little helpless and lost. It was a long, long walk on foot. If only she had a cape like the one that girl who still wouldn't give her name had. She had hoped to find her here today, but apparently not.
The armor pieces Estel had managed to collect thus far were piecemeal, but she had been fortunate enough not to get any thing genuinely clashing. Still, it was embarrassing - she had no pauldrons, and the cloak she had been wearing since she had arrived at Camelot was more than a little ragged by now.

It was a strange twist of fate that found Riley in the same position Chel had been in not so long ago. She saw Estel, abandoned by her horse, and walked over quickly to give her a helpful smile. "I was in your position not so long ago." She murmured. "I think I can help. Would you.. be all right with that?" Her hands extended, waiting for Estel to take them. She'd clearly gotten better at this.
"Oh, would you...?" Estel brightened up considerably, smiling at Riley. The other knights here were so helpful. She hadn't quite settled in, but she felt like if she spent enough time there, one day Camelot would start to feel like home.
Estel reached out to take Riley's hands. "Thank you. I'd really appreciate that."

Riley took her hands, and then very carefully walked her to the cliff. "I will not scare you, as Chel did. I am going to jump, but we will soar gently to our destination. Prepare yourself!"
She backed up a few steps, and began to run, until the cape behind her billowed out into wings and took them both up into the sky.
Estel followed obediently along with Riley to the cliff.
Chel? Who was that? She didn't recognize the name - had she met a Chel before? "I'm ready!" she responded, taking a deep breath.
It really was like flying. Having done this once before, Estel kept her composure a bit better this time. She remembered the maps she had seen in the War Room. Everything had looked a bit like scribbles to her at the time, but she understood that it was supposed to depict the land the way it looked top-down.
Looking down... well, the land didn't really look like the maps had. She could see a road in the distance, and some of the tops of the trees... "This is incredible," she said quietly, staring down. Hopefully her speaking wouldn't distract Riley from gliding. If they fell... well, it would be a long, painful way down, and she was sure neither of them wanted that to happen.

"It truly is." Riley whispered. "I do this once in a while just for the peace of it. But I am truly happy to help you out. These quests were.. ah... stressful."
She chuckled weakly, the exhaustion in her voice evident.
The mountain summit was up ahead, and she landed carefully, making sure Estel was safe before the wings folded back behind her. "Claim your prize, sweet Estel."
If any of them ever found any magical artifacts, they were supposed to turn them in to the Great King... that's what she had thought, but now the Great King was missing, so... hopefully Riley and the nice girl who had flown her the other day wouldn't get in trouble for using those winged capes.
Estel released Riley's hands and curtsied politely, blushing faintly at being called sweet. "Thank you very much."
Was there anything here? Estel left Riley's side to go investigate the mountaintop. There sure was an awful lot of stuff just lying around these parts, and she wondered why no one had ever managed to find a full set of armor.
At least she'd been lucky enough to find two matching gloves on her last trip - and in her size, which was really lucky. What were the odds of finding armor in just her size? Apparently, they were pretty good odds.
Estel spotted a glint of light out of the corner of her eye and went to go investigate. Hidden in a crevice of rock was a gleaming crystal. Estel brushed some smaller rocks aside to find a pair of decorative pauldrons, studded with tiny glinting pieces of quartz. Estel gathered them up, trying them on. They weren't too heavy, and although they were more pretty than practical, it certainly couldn't hurt to wear them. "I found something!" she called to Riley, heading back to her friend. "If you're ready to head out again, let's go back to Camelot, shall we?" It had been a long flight. She was hungry.
