He couldn't admit exactly that the last time he had traveled into the mountains that it had gone off without a hitch. There had indeed been some hurdles along the way, the illness had indeed struck and he had found himself coming back empty handed a few times before he had gotten successful.
Milo hoped that this time he wouldn't be denied the summit as many times as he strapped some of his food supplies onto the waiting horse. With a few more tugs on leather straps, the blue knight climbed onto the waiting steed and then set off.

Already so soon, only a bit of travel towards the mountain path did Milo begin to feel the pains of illness descend into his bowels. Oh how he wished it not to be true, how often it had struck and hinted upon him in the other journeys. It was most foal, even more so then the creatures he would face in the arena and the enemies at the gates.
Illness came with so little notice and could knock so many knights out. Even one that felt himself as bold as Milo. He turned around and made it back to the cabin with regret.QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 23/23 YOUR HP: 50/50

A small amount of time had passed before Milo decided to attempt the trail again. He made sure to allow the illness to subside, least to feel it creep up upon him once more while attempting to get his reward upon the summit.
The blue knight patted the neck of his horse before he climbed up once more, his pack already tied to the back and his weapon at the ready if it was needed.

No, it just seemed to be a little bit of gas. Nothing too serious, and nothing that could hinder him from continuing on.
Unfortunately, that animal blocking the path seemed to want to stop him from entering the forest that was housed so near the forest. The last time he had tried to face it head on, but this time he tried to remain on his horse and barrel through the giant bear. He managed to get past it well enough, but it got a good swipe at his leg. Milo hissed at the pain but pressed on.QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 32/32 YOUR HP: 50/50

Determination was in his eyes when he collected his food stuffs in his bag and tied it to the saddle of the horse. He was not going to allow the sickness to deter him once more. No, he was going to make it up upon the mountain and claim what was his.

His sights were set on the road ahead, he would be distracted by nothing. And in that mindset, he had managed to misstep upon the trail, causing his horse to buckle a little and almost fall to their demise. Alone in the mountains wasn't too terrible a feat. But, it wasn't as pleasant, as he was going through food, that he found himself chased by a giant creature of flames coming after him. It causes him to lose more of the food he had been attempting to ration. But there wasn't much else he could do as he ran for his life.QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 8(9?)/25 YOUR HP: 50/50

No, again just gas it would seem. But even then Milo would try to push through how bowels' betrayal.
