Noemi packed the light back pack on her back and huffed. She was going on the quest with nothing of her past armor, leaving it on the bed that lancelot had given her. She rushed her horse to the top, hoping to hit the curve she always did with ease and expertise. well it wasn't quite what she expected either, and like usual, she was staring from her to the long drop over the cliffside, She hated it. She breathed in fresh mountain air and... Puked up the last of the rolls she had eaten. Her rush to the lake and the cool refreshing water was the only thing to keep her from further getting sick. She must've still felt sick as before she even began the journey, she was on the floor sicker then a dog. She breathed in and laid in her bed for a day longer. Noemi felt better, great, fantastic. This was her moment. This was her time. Not even the wolf blocking the path could keep her here long! The wolf bared its fangs again, and attacked at Noemi, but this time she was prepared, bringing her shield and trident again. Its claws attempted to ravage at her but she was quicker, knocking the creature back. "Be gone." she whispered, smacking it on the nose and sending its dark hide back into the woods. It seemed her journey would be filled with monsters, and as she raced to the top, her favorite of them all came to play. It was easy to throw the bag at the monster and then run away. Her horse was tired, her body ached, and as she veered into the booby trap, she did her best to knock or avoid the axes from her horse, and keep going. She could feel those buttwings soon. She came to the mountain ragged. Wounded. Her horse had collapsed at the top, resting its head on cool mountain ground and snow. She couldn't believe that it had come to this. The wings were a calming blue, silky and soft like water. They glided on her hands, attached to her hips and she felt...agile, free. Like she could leave. Her horse must've got the memo cause it took off back to the castle, and she didn't even care. She took the sky, and felt the wind at her neck, along her skin. She soared, sang, danced. It was amazing. It was the best. She wanted to bring Milo here. She would do this. She could do this. Quote: Sorry sickness, NOEMI HAS BEATEN YOU. Wings get!
