Fighting in the arena had somehow given her a little it of fighting spirit, enough so that Maple decided to go on another quest. Having only a mantle seemed a little sad compared to what the others already possessed. So, she figured a new pair of gauntlets would seem kind of nice.

Now alone in the forest, Maple tried to trudge as carefully as she could. She was scared, ye, she didn't have anyone to talk to (even if she didn't talk much and they didn't at all) but even a horse's company would have been nice.
She kept her claymore close but even then she didn't just bring it out when a giant spider scared her even more. No, she attacked with food.QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 16/26 YOUR HP: 50/50

Even after all that, she at least managed to get her way to the mountain. At least she had seen the dead bodies before, so it wasn't much of a surprise for her this time. Maple didn't look at them all the same, though.

Finally, the summit. Maple was so happy to see it and the gauntlets just waiting for her.
Somehow, though, the quiet girl caused an avalanche. How, she would never know. But at least she had managed to survive it enough to retrieve her prize. And make it home.
