Standing there, seemingly abandoned, is a dusty statue of Rotana herself. The statue looms tall but is blocked partially by overgrown trees and bushes. Some spiderwebs arch between the details and the shadows cover her once happy and light expression. A thought crosses your mind, why not spruce it up a bit? After all, this was a festival in her honor right? - Decorate Rotana's Visage Rotana's Visage Part 1:- To collect your supplies and decoration, please roll a 10-sided dice. Even: You collect your supplies and decorations successfully. Odd: You fail and need to roll again. You may roll as many times as necessary. Part 2:- To place your decorations successfully, roll 10 10-sided dice. - Match up the corresponding numbers to see the results of your rolls: 1: You get lost while searching for suitable decorations. Subtract 1 decoration from your total. 2-4: You find no decorations. 5: You find 1 decoration! 6: You find no decorations. 7: You find 1 decoration. 8-10: You find 2 decorations! You may roll until you get to a total of 10 decorations. After that you may claim your reward!  x1 Tracks

My name: Talya My faction: Nightmare Small IC description of character: A sense of nervousness nibbled upon the mare's mind, her stance shifting from hoof to hoof. Despite this, the sensation of excitement also enthralled her, capturing her willingly as she embarked upon a new step and journey upon this chapter of her life. Oracle Scribe: Zempre's Oracle ScribeAfter her interrogation by the larger Stallion, Talya had decided to explore a little around the area. Intrigued, she found herself drawn to the statue of Rotana and a quick examination would leave her slightly disappointed. The statue was neglected and seemed to have been forgotten; something that was quite sad as the festival was in her honor. Glancing around, the mare wondered if she could find anything to decorate the statue with and went out to search for supplies and such! However, there didn't seem to be anything nearby as she came up empty handed for the moment.

Stepping further away from the statue, she continued to look around before finally finding what she had been searching for. Gathering some soft pink flowers, a few vines that looked similar to ivy and a handful of very pretty pebbles, she returned back to the statue. Now, to decorate!

Talya looked to her supplies and wondered how she was going to decorate the Statue. Pursing her lips, the mare shifted her hues from the statue...and then back tot he supplies gathered. This seemed far easier when she initially thought about it. However, how she should place them and where was now another story! For the moment, no decorating was done as the mare tried to figure out how she would assemble

After what took to be several long minutes, she would finally start to figure something out. Some of the ivy would be used, knotted and twisted with the guidance of her horn to assemble a small makeshift wreath. Taking a few of the flowers, they were laced throughout the wreath and once she was done, she would look upon her creation proudly. Duplicating her first wreath, she now had a set and felt very proud of her accomplishment! Carefully she went to the statue and with some effort she managed to get the small wreaths around the wrist of the statue which now resembled bracelets then wreaths. Nodding her head in approval, she looked to see what else she could do.

Finding decorating the statue far more fun then dealing with the stress of the invaders, and this being a rather welcomed emotion, she continued to move about her gathered supplies with a sort of eagerness found amongst colts! More flowers were gathered from the pile and after some debate she would make another flower wreath that would quickly be placed upon the crown of Rotana's head. Nodding, she once more looked to see what she could do!

Talya once more began to look around, trying to see what she could add to decorate the statue. After much pause and consideration she began to carefully lace the flowers around the feet of the statue, quite pleased with herself till she halted. The base that the statue stood on was completely covered with overgrowth. That just wouldn't do!

Immediately she got to the task of trying to remove the debris that was around the base of the statue, using her horn to remove as much as she could! It was sad to see a lovely statue overgrown, even more so when it was the statue of the Goddess they had come to celebrate in honor of. Removing as much as she could, she stepped back to look at her handwork before sighing once more. It would appear there was even more on the backside as well!

Despite she knew the backside of the base needed to be cleared off, she went ahead and focused on decorating the front half. After all, she didn't want to spend a lot of time de-cluttering, when she could be creating decorations at the same time! Happily the mare moved to add a few more decorations to the base of the statue, and when she finished, she nodded in approval! This was rather fun!

Never did she ever consider she would have as much fun as she was now!! Prancing somewhat, the mare moved around to examine the decorations she had already placed before allowing a soft 'hmm' to be heard. There was still much to do! Quickly she began to move around the statue in one last look over before already gathering a bunch of the flowers. Carefully, she would line them up, placing them to rest gently upon the statue's hands, much like a bouquet. Standing back once more, and pleased with her work, she nodded her head in approval before starting to figure out her next course of action.

Upon stepping back, and despite her many decorations, the mare couldn't help but feel that the statue still looked slightly gloomy and depressing. Flicking her tail in her growing annoyance, Talya would eye over everything that looked 'gloomy'. The cobwebs didn't help...and there was still a lot of shadows in the way. Deciding her task seemed obvious now, she shuddered as she approached the cobwebs, using the tip of her horn to start to remove them away from the statue. It was a dirty job, but someone had to do it!

The removal of the cobwebs helped tremendously, however there was still more work to do! There was looming shadows everywhere and Talya was sure that Rotana would like to feel the sun on her face...or at least the statue version of her. A few bushes seemed to be the cause of the shadowy gloom and so the mare began to trim them down. She didn't have a desire to kill the bushes, but if they were trimmed down it would allow enough light to come through while still letting the plant live! However, after several minutes of cutting away at the bushes, the mare found herself halted. A jerk was given....followed by another. Frowning, she shook her head violently trying to free her horn before sighing. She was stuck within the bush....wonderful.

Deciding there and then she wouldn't be caught in such an embarrassing situation, the mare huffed as she began to try and get free once more, yanking hard, twisting her head and even trying to get a hoof up to push the brush off her stuck horn! Nothing seemed to help!!

With a mighty pull and using every bit of strength she could muster, the female gave another great yank! Soon she was sent tobbling backwards as the bush ripped out of the ground itself before sliding off her horn and landing on the ground. Confused, Talya looked to where the bush had been and then to the statue. Without the bush in the way, light seemed to flood the statue which in turn seemed to be it's own type of decoration!! In fact, it seemed to complete her hard work in her mind! Done, and free of the horn attacking bush, Talya decided to head back to the others...perhaps the Stallion had changed his mind.
