Patrol was easy for Elpis. Walk, mind for auras, approach. If they attacked, defend herself. If not, converse. The senshi had expected to see herself attacking the Negaverse far more, but meeting Merlinite and Sphalerite had given her pause, reason to stand by to watch, to, so far, a benefit mostly. But she was still alert. Tonight the senshi walked easily along before sensing an aura of order, close to her level, and paused, before moving towards it curiously. New auras were always new people, Tonight was no different, and she crept up on a larger senshi with pinky-purple and white curls, head tilting.

Sailor Ferris wasn't used to powering, even now, if only because she didn't do it often. There were no enemies, no reasons to fight, leaving her to relax often, almost forgetting she'd awakened. But she didn't expect to run into another basic, and lookedup to see a senshi standing over her, blinking as the other made her way down, waving idly as she approached, and Ferris tilted her head.

"Hi." The 80s senshi greeted, head tilting. "Are there any bad guys around?"

Business was best, right?

Elpis blinked, head tilting.

"No, why in the world would you henshin only for bad guys? How do you even define that?" She asked. Ferris grinned.

"Weell, why else use our magic but to save people?" She asked. "There's bad guys, and monsters we need to fight."

Elpis blinked, head tilting. Was she for real? Though based on Ferris' grin.... Yes. Yes she was, and Elpis groaned.

"Safety. Protect people. It's not only punching out villians like... Like some sort of Iron Man reject. We're not Tony Stark."

Ferris giggled.

"Well why else would we have it? All out magic is for fighting. So we're supposed to, right?" Ferris studied the skinnier senshi idly. Elpis, to Ferris, looked small and built for agility, She ran a hand through her curls thoughtfully as she pondered the other senshi. While Ferris hadn't seen much battle, this other girl surely was newer - how many battles could she possibly have seen? None? Who did she think she was? And Ferris' mouth twitched into a frown.

"How long have you been awakened? You don't seem like you've seen much fighting. I mean, there was a giant ******** at New Years..."

Elpis blinked at the other senshi, and felt her eye twitch, Elpis scowling.

"Since February." She replied. "But I've seen plenty of fighting, and avoided plenty too." She responded. Ferris snorted, crossing her arms at the girl with an annoyed look.

"Why? Did you trun into something you can't handle?" She asked. Elpis glared darkly.

"That's not why. But not all of them are evil."

Her mind went to Merlinite or Sphalerite, both trying to do what was right, trying to protect people, and Elpis groaned as Ferrisgroaned.

"Yes they are. They hurt people! That's awful!" Ferris scolded. Why wouldn't this senshi stop bad people? "What if they kill more people because you let them go?!"

Elpis scowled.

"Some of them were tricked though. They can't help that - and they mean well."

"No, they don't,." And Ferris snapped, pointing accusingly at Elpis.

"You're one of them aren't you? You're evil too! You're part of the Negaverse!"

Elpis blinked, staring at Ferris incredulously, and frowned.

Was she serious? Elpis didn't get a moment to as when she moved to do so, instead hit by the other senshi's magic, and Elpis froze.

She wanted her Dad, the times when she was a child curled up in his lap being read to, for...

Ferris followed her spell up while the other Senshi was frozen. She wasn't sure how long Flash from the Past lasted on senshi, but her awakening taught her to lash and hit while the enemy was stunned, and Ferris did so rapidly. The window wasn't too long, but she moved rapidly, beginning to punch.

Elpis flew back, and after thirty seconds blinked, and stared as the other senshi continued to lash, rolling aside to ignore the ached from bweing hit and growled.

"Do I look corrupt to you? Is my bodice black? No. Is there a hole in my head or chest? No." Elpis turned her look on Ferris, and growled.

"How dare you." And the senshi stood as tall as possible. "They can be saved. Purified. I've seenn it happen." A finger pointed at Ferris accusingly, the senshi blinking.

"I've seen plenty of battles, including with agents. What about you? Do you even patrol? Do you know anything?[/]"

Ferris huffed.

"At least my periorities are in order. They-"

"Don't." Elpis' tone became dark, furious.

"How many of them have you met?"

"I don't want to meet them. Why do I want to power if I'm not protecting someone? Why unless I want to make sure the area is safe at night?" Ferris responded. She patrolled - not often - but enough to know the area she patrolled was safe. Elpis hissed, still pointing, and glare, and Ferris wondered what the senshi was hisssing about as Elpis sputtered innfuriateedly. Ferris snorted.

"""It isn't my faullt the fighting isn't near me."

And the Senshi groaned, moving and slapping Ferris. Ferris blinked, gingerly rubbing her face as Elpis snapped.

"Yyou look. You kkeep aleert. You patrol. Yoou talk. You don't just wait to beat someone up - you look, talk, fight only when you need to."

"That doesn't win though." Ferris pushed the smaller girl off,and moved to try pinning her. Elpis jumped back as Ferris continued.

"If you don't win, they'll destroy everything. People, places, everything."

"That's why we save who we can!" Elpis argued. "We won't know unless we work together."

Ferris moved as the other senshi kept dartingabout, Ferris grumbling when she rolled aside and dodged again. Ferris just wanted to figure this out, see why this enshi didn't seem to listen, and Elpis wasn't seeming to get it.

How could anything there be a good person? They hurt people - used monsters! Didn't she see that? Was she daft, powering and casually watching? That surely meant trouble, and Ferris made a disconcerted noise before moving, knocking Elpis down with a sweep while she moved.

Elpis hit the ground with a grunt and hissed, glaring at Sailor Ferris irritably. The saller senshi rapidly raised a hand to cast her magic wordlessly, Ferris letting up at the metal ball before Elpis threw it at her feet, the shards of metal flying up.

Ferris screeched as she fell back, metal scratching and biting skin on her legs, and the senshi crawled back as lpis huffed, arms crossing.

"Look, kid," elpis snapped. "You have a lot to learn. I don't know why you're so damn stubborn but if I ever catch you picking unnecissary trouble, I will kick your a**, do you understand me?"

Ferris stared, incredulously, at Elpis as the senshi scowled, looming over Ferris irritably, and Ferris opened her mouth to speak before closing her mouth again, taking a deep bearth before narrowing her eyes, getting p slowly and pushing her way past Elpis before looking over her shoulder.

"I know what I'm doing." She snapped. Elpis frowned, doubting it as she threw a hand up, sore.

"Apparently." She snapped back, and moved off, mentally noting to look for ice at home. Ferris watched Elpis stalk away with an irritating look before snorting, looking away.

"Brat." She grumbled. The other senshi obviously didn't know a thing - did she even know who the enemy was? Ferris doubted it, but it didn't matter, and she rubbed the exposed part of her legs stiffly before limping for home, mentally noting not to henshin a few days. Let the other senshi fend for herself; Ferris at least knew she was fighting a war, based on one thing.
