Greater Tabard of the ChickenCockatrice

STEP 2: HERE AND BACK AGAIN

Now, this is an survival rp exercise. The requirement to get a successful artifact is you must post 600 or more words, follow one of each step, and not run out of food. )

- At the start of the quest, each player in your party must roll 5d10 Add up all party member's values. That is the amount of food they carried with them. If your party runs out of food, you will have to head home, it's no good to die out there in the wild... (QUEST FAILED, RETRY AGAIN).

- If your Knight runs out of HP they PASS OUT and are considered OUT of this quest. That means they do not get the award. A group can choose to continue on without him/her or head back and abandon quest to redo.

- If you are doing this with a group, EACH person of the party must roll for each stage once before progressing to the next stage. If there is no post after 8 ooc hours, then you can skip them and they are considered KO'ed.

- Now, all players get one extra reroll. That means if you are solo OR group, and you do not like your roll, you can reroll ONCE. This applies to PER player, and does not consume a turn.

- If you have attempted and FAILED this three times in a row, you may skip all the dysentery rolls meaning, if you roll for that, reroll instantly. This only works for the next expedition you do, and after that resets back to no skips.

- Please make sure ALL party members add this to their ooc post:

It felt odd for Joy, to be going on a quest on her own rather than in a group or with Michael. The man wasn't there when she went to gather her rations, and when she reached the stables it was the same. She couldn't say she was disappointed, well, maybe she could. Just a little. Not that much. It wasn't as if she was dependent on the man. But the company had been nice, and the journey seemed to go by a lot faster than if she went on her own.

Or would it just go as normal? She couldn't say for sure, this was the first time she'd be flying solo. The prospect of adventuring on one's own was an exciting notion for her. But just in case, Joy returned to gather more supplies. Now that she didn't have Michael to pick up the slack, she had to make sure she brought enough on this trip.

The journey was going smoothly, much to Joy's delight. But that really should have clued her in that it wasn't going to remain as such. She should have gone into high alert as her horse trotted on at a casual pace, enjoying the sun and the surrounding nature. Actually it decided to enjoy far too much nature and include Joy with it because the next thing the brunette knew she had a face-full of bees.

The swarm buzzed angrily, terrifying the horse and making the ride groan "Oh no again!" as she was flung off.

With a heavy and clearly not surprised in the least sigh, Joy continued on with the search. Without her horse, this expedition ended up becoming a lot tougher than usual. Alone and mountless, she was forced to survive on her wits and test her endurance, pushing her limits to its fullest and- Oh look! Someone lost food! Joy gave a triumphant bark of laughter as she scavenged its contents to add to her rations.

Her rucksack definitely felt heavier than it had. But that was a good thing! It meant she wasn't at risk of starving. She only hoped that the rations she'd retrieved weren't abandoned for a reason. The possibility that these would give her dysentery was very high and now that she thought about, maybe it wasn't all that good a thing?

Feeling much more confident in herself after having found a fresh supply, Joy returned to her journey. She was humming to herself, taking a break to eat some of the food she brought and was about to turn and ask Michael something when she remembered, "Oh. Yeah. I'm on my own." She grumbled to herself and leaned back, deciding to reflect on her attitude about the whole thing.

"I think I'm becoming dependent on his company." she said to no one in particular. "That's bad," she frowned. Mind still confused with her thoughts, Joy failed to hear the hissing sound. She ended up activating a trap of snakes!!! She ran, but not without getting bitten.

The snake attack left a wound on her leg that did not look very good. Joy knew that after she finished this expedition, she was going to have to get it looked at. That she was actually a cooperative patient was a surprise given the numerous scars on her body. Or rather, the brunette was a cooperative patient during the moment when treatment was being applied. One would have thought she was the sort to shrug off pain and injuries despite being warned otherwise.

They would have been right because even with this wound and eagles pecking and slashing at her with their talons, she pressed on. And got her prize!
