This was it. This was to be his final quest for the last artifact he needed to complete the set. He knew that he could continue to go again, to help others if needed, but for him, personally, this was the last that he needed to do. His trials would come to an end, and hopefully, soon, he would be a full knight, just as he had been hoping for. It felt good to pack up the food that he needed to take with him that day. It felt good to get his horse ready to go, even if said horse was an awful beast that never bothered to stay put. It felt fantastic to launch himself up into the saddle to set off, with nothing but the wind in his hair and beard as he set off at a canter, ready to just get this over with. He hoped for no bee's, no wild beasts, no arrows or axes, and most of all, no overwhelming sickness that left him unable to continue. Of course, he knew that it was too much to think that none of these things would occur, but still, he hoped. He spurred his horse into a gallop, the castle disappearing behind him as he got further and further away. QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 31 YOUR HP: 30

No wild beasts. That is what he had wanted, but it was not to be. Not long after he had set out on his path, the castle still dwindling in the distance behind him, did the knight apprentice become set upon by a ravenous lynx. The creature was gaunt, clearly starving for food, and apparently Wrath's legs looked rather meaty and tasty, as it came after him relentlessly, no matter how many times he beat it away with his trusty war hammer. Dreadhoof danced beneath him, threatening to throw him off, but he held on to that accursed horse for dear life while also fending off the lynx, until the foul feline eventually sulked off, back to whatever pit of hell it had come from, likely in wait for the next poor traveller that happened by. He forgot to hope for no spiders. The eight legged freakishly large spider that had managed to make him lose his food countless times before was back with the vengeance, and for some reason, still managed to startle Wrath enough that his lunch was dropped, and stomped under hoof by his ridiculously horrible horse. Lips pursed, Wrath at least this time managed to get his hammer out in time to give the spider a solid whack on it's big old round behind before it scurried away. Satisfied with his course of action, and with knowing that the arachnid would not be back, he continued along his way, onward to victory! QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 26 YOUR HP: 20

He dismounted his horse once he got to the mountain, but maintained a very firm grip on the reins. If that horse was going to bolt, it was going to bolt and have to drag Wrath along with it back to Camelot. Stupid, cheeky horse. He could see how it's ears swiveled back towards home, and how it's head continued to turn as well. He was constantly having to jerk it's attention back forward again. And that's probably why he ended up tripping one of the mountains many dangerous traps, because his not so trusty steed was acting up and he could not do more than one thing at once. An axe swung down, hitting him hard in the shoulder. Thankfully, with his armor, it did not manage to cleave his arm off, but he knew that there would be a large and nasty bruise there, later. It stung enough to make him feel like it had been dislocated, and a few tries at raising the arm didn't get him very far. Ouch. QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 26 YOUR HP: 15

He was so happy when he reached the end of his journey, with horse still with him, that he let out a booming laugh. That made rocks fall. That almost killed him. Almost, but not quite! Digging his way from out of the rubble, he marched his way up to the top of the highest peak and retrieved what was rightfully his. The Greater Mantle of the Snapdragon. Yes, good.
