It was another day and a chance to continue with the quest. Damien was feeling fairly fit and able, bouncing from the rooms and over to the stables to check on Clyde. The pony was still on its hay, but the flicker of his tail and the snort of greeting was good enough for him, patting the steed on the mane and began loading him up with the usual attire. The food was plentiful today and he took every bit of it, mostly the spoils from the last trip when the guild master laughed over his good fortunes. "Only you would come back with more spoils than when you first left with." he said, in an uproar of laughter, taking the excess amounts and putting them away for later. It was for his use and he made sure to bring them along, hoping the gods of the journey was still on his side. As in true fashion, it was time to head to the prayer stop at the chasm on the way. the area that kept him on his toes and safe. The chasm had its trees covering its entrance, shielded from unworthy eyes. Nostalgic was one feeling that came to mind, how many times he passed by the area, on a daily occurrence save for the rare times he took the other path by accident. The brunette took his time, taking a knee and saying the words he always did, to keep him safe on this journey and to allow him safe passage home. QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 40/40 YOUR HP:30/30

The chasm was vast, but this time Damien kept the tithe modest, offering only one to the deity overlooking him and the pony there. It rolled off the edge and down into the great depths, while he was saddling back up and heading out on the map's path. Now it was the question of if his prayers were answered or left on deaf ears. Stage 2 The forest was quiet during their passing, the sounds of shaking leaves and the bubble of a brook was the Company that Damien faced this time. He spied up at the pineapple tree that bore fruit and the glaive that made short work of reaching the fruits of his labor, and was quite sweet today. Taking a few back to the castle was indeed a welcome idea, even if he really wanted to keep it a secret for only him. It was more charitable to share and the boy knew that in his faction, there were things that he should be doing, instead of being selfish. a few were placed in the pack and the trail continued on. Stage 3 It was a mixture of glee and horror, the good and the bad came in pairs, and the bad reared itself during the travel. Damien knew of the mountain and its peril, but he didn't expect the Pony to hurt himself on a slippery stone, left smooth and bare, the mount's hoof did move and overextend, leaving him in a off balance walk, an ungainly pace and the young knight was sure it was painful to move much less bear any weight on it, including his own. It was not right to continue to cause the one who supported him on these travels any more pain than necessary. The pulled the pony to a stop, and pulled out a few of the apples for him to snack on, and tied him to the post jutting out from the cave wall. "you can stay here, ill go on and come back for you." grabbing the pack of spoils from the harness and slinging it over his shoulder and keeping the glaive in hand at the ready. "He didn't expect Clyde to put up a protest, trying to follow but after a few minutes of calming him down, the horse stayed behind, eating the apples left for him, prompting him to leave a few extra just in case. In case he was not back in a day, or more. WIth a heavy heart, the boy put one foot in front of the other to scale the mountain and make it back. QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 44/50 YOUR HP:30/30

Stage 4 The path up was not a kind one, angled deeply and it took considerable amount of effort to move a body covered in armor up the path, and avoid the traps. But where the will is strong, the body was weak, taking a moment to sit and regain his strength, eating a piece of salted cheese and bread and consider the options, it would be ok to turn around. focus on getting Clyde back so he can get treated. the other half of his brain was working, the one that didn't want the sacrifice to go to waste. it would be just as nice to get what armor they could and be done with the questing for a long while, and allow the pony some true rest. It was a battle of contingencies, but he had to press on. QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 39/50 YOUR HP:30/30

Stage 4- USING THE one reroll per Quest He was there, the catacombs were in front of him, and the helmet that he came for in his travels. It was finally in hand, black and gold but the branches of gold that weaved around the helm, dotted with accents of crimson flowers. It was his and it was almost finished. he trudged his way down the summit, the helm cradled in his hand to meet Clyde and begin the trek home. It was finally done.
